ahhh...the disneyland railroad - disneyland just wouldn't be the same without it - can't wait to ride again!
This gives me so much nostalgia it’s been over 10 years since I’ve been to this ride
Don’t know how but the Grand Canyon part scared the hell out of me when I was little and I got nightmares from it. Then I developed an irrational fear of the Grand Canyon

This ride used to have a certain... smell.... like an old timey... diesel smell. You’d smell it coming off the tracks and inside the tunnels. Memories ☺️

By far the BEST Disneyland train video on RUclips ! Excellent editing, camera work and quality. Stable and easy to keep your eyes focused. No screaming kids or other external noises either ! AWESOME job !

I hate to say this, and I know I’m going to take some shots for this, but I think the ol’ diorama is in need of some updates. Especially the Grand Canyon side. FYI, I am a former steam train conductor myself and I love the trains, but inanimate stuffed animals just aren’t in pace with the rest of the park or modern technology. Doesn’t mean it has to become commercialized (like a train ride through Arendelle), it can still be the Grand Canyon, it needs motion, at least.
What happened to the dinosaurs after the Ellen’s energy ride at Epcot? After the closing of ellen’s energy ride at Epcot. Disneyland have replaced the dinosaurs for people to see during the train ride

Do any fans out there know why this is the music heard on the Disneyland railroad with the dinosaurs? Is this a piece of classical music? Did Walt decide to use Bernard Herrmann’s score for reasons …? If you don’t know, this music is featured on Ray Harryhausen‘s 1961 mysterious island.

Anthony Flores good point, I’m still salty though that you guys get the mansion overlay and we don’t, we were supposed to but it’s a “tourist park”🙄
It's such a disappointing shame that my parents cancelled our annual vacation to Disneyland located in Anaheim, CA, because COVID-19 has just entered the picture. The day that it occurred was Spring 2020 which was 2⃣years ago. We were on hold for a long time re: calling Disney on the phone. We're NEVER EVER going back during a pandemic or an outbreak, because the theme park mentioned here in the comment boards on RUclips has very poor sanitation. Disney wasn't nice to us at all, so we got refunds from them on behalf of being Annual Passholders.

How does one get allowed into the caboose?
For us it was totally random. We were the last to be allowed to board the Train in Tomorrowland and the CM told us we could ride in the Caboose if we wanted just to close the door behind us (another couple ended up join us). Because I wanted to use the opportunity to make this video we stayed on for 2 full trips around and recorded when it was just the 2 of us so no external noise or talking. - Jeff
