I just got the 36mm D12 quartz, and it's awesome. Nice presentation, solid built watch with a really nice crystal. It looks much better in real life than in the pictures.
I’ve got one on order, largely on the strength of this excellent review. So thanks. My small amount of research suggests Baltany is a bit different to many Alixpress brands and have recently cut ties with many of them to forge their own path. Good for them.
I have been impressed with the two Baltany watches i have. I have been especially impressed with the Bronze Baltany watch. I only found one review of it on RUclips. Its amazing. I guess its a sleeper but a really great watch. Thanks for this review.
The handset is exceptional; the indexes aren't bad. My only problem is the non-flush crown and the movement. I think Baltany should update it with the one in their excellent Steinhart homage, with running seconds and 30-minutes counter.
Yeah the non flush crown is very faithful to the inspiration though! I don’t mind the lack of seconds since it hides the fact that this is a battery movement. My next review is another Baltany so stay tuned and thanks for watching 🙌
I received mine today. It came with a leatherette pouch and has a signed buckle on the strap. I love the white hands, so much better than silver which can disappear on a black dial.
What a nice and very affordable watch 😍 Even on the macro shots the quality is amazing ! I love some of the military inspired watches from Tandorio, San Martin, Baltany, etc. Thanks for the video 🙂
China is a powerhouse in manufacturing all kinds of things and people dont realize their IPhones they hold in such high regards are also made in China ! This watch is incredible!!! Ive got one on order and it wont be my last !!!! Thank you Baltany !!! 🎉
I have the Baltany W10 Hamilton /CWC homage. Beautiful fit and finish and keeps spot on time with Seiko nh automatic. Screw crown and 100m waterproof. Chucked on a green or khaki NATO it looks the dogs doodah.
Thanks for the review, you've really captured the essence of it. I've bought one but think mine has QC issues 😢 The minute and seconds hand both bend down towards the dial near the tips. I'd say the last quarter of each hand. Is yours the same? Its pretty clear looking from the side
Hey,thanks! I had a look any the minute hand does slope for the last 1/5 but this is pretty common on vintage and vintage design watches. Maybe reach out to Baltany with a picture? They are pretty good in responding from my experience dealing with them
I’ve got several Baltany watches along with a number of Chinese homage watches. To date I’ve not had one issue with any of them, & that’s going back over several years. Baltany though seemingly have cornered the market on the military reference watches, along with vintage style.👍🏼
Lovely watch, but I'm afraid I'm not on board with the recent trend to multi-colored lume. Especially on an historic design like this one, I'd prefer all white lume, or all green.
This type of watch is not my thing and nor are homages, but I cannot argue against the caseyou make. So it mainly raises questions about the how, and also the why of the costs of other brands, including some micros. While not quite that simplistic, this is why I tend to look oit for design authenticity at decent values in microbrands. I'll assume, for the sake of argument, that they still tend to run on far more ample margins than brands like Baltany, which I hope means that my money will support and stimulate genuine qualitative creativity according to my whimsical tastes, of course. It is almost frustrating to know that producing a very good watch can cost so little.
Very well articulated, thanks. It’s definitely worth supporting small micro brands that are doing their best to make a living while still producing brilliant watches. They do deserve our money
Initially, I looked at Hamilton Auto 6BB, but it's too expensive. One of the four original makers of this watch Newmark, makes the Seiko VK64 quartz 6BB with an asking price of $370. Despite these options, I decided not to buy the original design. FYI, please remember that Baltany has a customization option for this watch to create your own logo/design for an additional $35. I ordered mine with my favorite logo design with characters by removing the Baltany logo. With this option, you will possess a one-and-only wristwatch that nobody owns.
I’m ok with homage, but the broad arrow is the deal breaker. There’s too much history, sweat, and blood with that label for it to be forgiven. Good review, though

Thanks and yes, my dealings with them has been nothing but excellent and I feel they're a step above some of their competition. Enjoy your new watch!

Thanks for that, and I must check out a bronze version too. I have the 'military quartz' coming too for a look, so that'll be up in the near future.

Thanks for watching!
Great review, but I will wait for the non-gilt version. But I do like fauxtina lume.
Hopefully there’s one coming, but I love the gold coloured details personally. Thanks for watching 🙂

Slowly, many will jump in the vast AliLand's goodies... I'm in, for good! Ready for the first mod too.😋

Looks like a domed crystal is used, that's good.
Thanks 😊
Great review. If only they did a mechanical version.

That is to accomodate to the domed crystal, not a qc issue.
how does it wear on wrist. Is it fairly flat with caseback melding into wrist or does it wear tall?
@@roytaylor7889 flat, it’s a light watch too so not in any way top heavy

The quality for money is amazing, but also just very attractive and great approach overall

Fair enough, it’s not for everyone and it’s a good point with the inspiration versus trend

This is a looker!
Sure is 🙂

Yes excellent points, I’m considering customisation right now 👍🏻

Yes that perspective is fair. Thanks as always
