I have the SRPE33 Manta Ray version. The bezel action is easy on mine. Also, the waffle dial is only on the black and white dial versions. Nice review!
Jeff, I just watched this (3/27/24) and grabbed my white dial K-Samurai during your review to check my bezel action. Mine is really good 8 out of 10? Thats good considering my new Tudor Pelagos FXD is a 9. Perhaps yours is a QC issue. Also the LumaBITE on mine is fantastic 😉😆. Great review and as usual, I learned things about my watch I didnt know.
I have 2 Sammies. Love them both. But I will say the 2024 Sammie is going to be epic. Seiko shrank the sammie case by a few millimeters and streched out the lug to lug. 😂👍🏻
@@watchyouknowwhen purchasing rhe King Samurai save the ocean edition it comes with rhe silicone rubber strap on it. Do they also give you the stainless steel band when purchasing. Thanks
If the dial says "Made in Japan" it was actually made in Japan. If it says "Japan Movt" it was made elsewhere. I am not sure about any of the King Seikos manufacturers locations, but my SRPF03 was definitely made in Japan. Additionally the box will have the full stock number which includes a "J" or a "K" for instance SRPF03J1 or SRPF03K1

The worst watch I ever bought was a Breitling Navitimer (early 90's). Still in my possession but I hate the thing and brand as hell. Since then I only buy Seiko's...price / quality are unbeaten.

This Seiko KS is a great watch I can say, the only con is the bezel action is tight. IMO.
