My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
My SBGJ249 has been a pleasure to wear. Swapped the metal band to a strap for more casual daily wear. Case looks great front and back and the dial just pops in the sun. It's my only mechanical watch but also my favorite.
Went shopping for the Spring Drive Chronograph SBGC275 and this would be my first big boy watch purchase. Really spectacular. I shop 5 hours after this video drops and it is already sold out.

I love how he has made a special watch band a part of his personal brand. I did this with a series of watches made by Nixon a long time ago when they started making "The Rocker" with multi piece fat leather bands. Mixed and matched until I had my own 100% unique band that nobody else had. It was a HUGE conversational piece amongst my peers at the time. FUN STUFF!
Beyond gorgeous, every one of these pieces, my favourite GS at the moment is actually one that I own, the SBGJ275. Looking forward to grabbing another GS soon! Hopefully at Teddy's store.

Love the diamond shaped cases on some of these Grand Seiko models as this really helps to differentiate their brand design (aside from amazing dials and also insanely accurate movements). got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
DIAL NOTE!!! The SBGC275 dial motif reflects the morning view of the Hotaka Moutain range, its manufacturing site. Kevin would love saying that about a dial.

I am a huge fan of Seiko, and GS. Have a number of 9f movements. Outstanding accuracy! Have a few spring drives. The sbga413, and 429 both run at plus .5 sec a day. Have an older sbga111 that runs at 0. Amazing watches. Then we have high beats. My sla039 with a 8L55 movement ran at plus 14 sec. Really? Went back to Japan , to be regulated. Now plus 7. Traded in my shunbun for a black birch. Love the birch. Understated, quality watch! Very happy with it.........except......the high beat runs about plus 6 sec a day. Why???? I have old Seiko divers with 4R movements that run at plus 3. Just got an omega ti seamaster planet ocean. Believe from 2011. So far it looks like it is running at minus 1 sec. Kind of what I should be getting from my black birch😠
For all of you guys saying “Kevin is interrupting the guy”, put yourself into the shoe of a buyer trying to buy the watch. If I get surprised by how good dials are, I am not holding my emotions on “oh really amazing dials” until salesmen finish explaining the technical movement nuances to me. Kevin is playing that role of the buyer here. This is not an interview. The seller is changing the topics as necessary to the buyer’s (Kevin) emotion. That is how it works even in a real store. Your audience is constantly surprised by the various look and feel of the watch, not the spec sheet.
Grand Seiko's are so good and they offer so much value compared to its swiss counterparts. I will own one at some point and that's my motivation to work

I don't understand why Grand Seiko is so damn polarizing. Yes, it's a Seiko : it's in the name. So they just were successful with their high-end line, whereas Rolex's Cellini line did not work out. Instead of opening a lower tier brand, they made an entry-level luxury brand. I don't see the problem here, they make really good watches, comparable to Omega or Tudor in that price range...??

They are limited because they know it’s hard enough to find a sucker willing to buy 1 of them let alone sell 100 to 1,000 of them.

I don't understand why Grand Seiko is so damn polarizing. Yes, it's a Seiko : it's in the name. So they just were successful with their high-end line, whereas Rolex's Cellini line did not work out. Instead of opening a lower tier brand, they made an entry-level luxury brand. I don't see the problem here, they make really good watches, comparable to Omega or Tudor in that price range...??

there is no occation or place to wear a skeletonized watch other than showing off. no matter how beautifully its made, and showing off is just not some people's cup of tea. those watches with dials however are mouth watering.
