Wow that was good I want to travel with you to my favourite video is the LINER Standard class I would like to go on it love the video and see you on the next video bye
Hi thanks, glad you enjoy. See you soon.
still better than GWRs 802 class 😂
Everything looks super Soviet, looks like it hasn't been updated since the soviet era either
It sure does, except the Airport station of course! 😁
It looks and sounds like Serbian railways 5 years ago (and in some regions even now!).
That interior is horrifying! It's all in a sorry state of neglect 🙁 I've seen the interior of some Balkan trains and they're in better shape than this!
0:37 no need to apologise for it at all
Haha, if only I brought my stabiliser... 😬
I like Georgia very much... And train is not so bad...
It would be good to see you traveling also to Azerbaijan 🇦🇿.
I have been, it was lovely! But sadly, they do not accept photography on those trains... :(
@@SuperalbsTravels Ah yes, indeed, it is not allowed. Sorry for that. Thanks
Hopefully one day I can come back and try. 🙏
Just Never Complian About Seats On A IET Or Azuma Or A Transpennie Express Nova.
Dear Sir! This is NOT a real train. Just a shuttle, or S-bahn. In my country (Hungary) we say "meadow metro"
I would have loved to do videos on the proper trains, but sadly I was with someone. I will go back as soon as I can! 😃
@@SuperalbsTravelsMaybe the worst European train was the Black Train in Hungary. It was a weekly worker's train from Budapest to the east side of the country and back. Overcrowded, crime, alcohol, stabbing and other fine things. Six hours travel for 240 kilometers, a real East-European fun... Sorry for my bad English.
The black train part 1: ruclips.net/video/r5XQUgGLZWA/видео.html
That sounds terrifying, but fascinating! Is it still around?
Still better than an IET though 😉
duh ;)
7:11 Chasing cars? Pffff. In Eastern Europe, dogs chase trains.
Looks like your average train here in the valleys of South Wales
One word.... Pacer
You think? 😋
Georgian looks like a language like no other. i can read Cyrillic but not Georgian!!
Same, thankfully what little cyrillic there is in the country helped me get by - fascinating experience!
Cyrillic and Georgian has nothing in common. Even Latin has much more in common with Georgian (cuz both of them has Greek and Aramean influence) than Cyrillic. Georgian is not even Indo-European language. It is isolated into it's Kartvelian family, as Basque language is.
4:55 Bleurgh! Hope you never experience that again.
Not pleasant! 😱
@@SuperalbsTravels not pleaant what?
In the video. ✌
@@SuperalbsTravels ah, yeah. Thought you were talking about my comment
This is nice
Nice! :P Thanks for watching. :)
Its comfortable a little bit
In the video you mentioned that it's not in such bad condition for a 54 year old train.
Go to Latvia where they produced the trains, thry are in a amazing shape.
Hopefully soon! Any places I should check out? 😍
I'm in Ełk right now, so not far away! :)
Will have to come back to visit the Baltic States!
@@SuperalbsTravels Ehh, not sure...
But if you are going by train maybe Sigulda or Cesis.
Jurmala is good as well.
Thanks, I'll look into this.
@@SuperalbsTravels btw, soon all the ER2 trains in Latvia will be taken out of service.
Two will be taken out of service at the end of this year and most will be gone by the end of next year.
In the start of 2023 the last ER2 trains will be taken out of service.
Only the DR1A trains will stay for some time.
8:22 Albania uses those locomotives extensively
Extensively, and also exclusively. Despite having a few V200 German diesels lying around (in scrap condition), the ChME3 (known locally as T.699) is the mainstay of haulage for the country.
@@SuperalbsTravels Correct :)
Very cool, can't wait to visit.
If you want to see the worst train in Europe, go to Albania...
Haha, I'd love to ride them! :)
no passengers no money ...why invest in newer trains?
"If you build it, they will come"
Have you never been on a pacer in Manchester?
Yes! 🥰
Pity the trains are not more regular.
Yep, most times I've been to the airport here (quite a few now), I've had to get a taxi.
Doesn't quite have the same charm, even with the...uhh 'interesting' driving standards.
Worst experience in this train
Still better than a Pacer 😂
Are you sure? What makes you say that? ;)
It makes a Pacer look like Wagon-Lits.
"The only signs being in Georgian (not even Russian)" well, it's in Georgia, not Russia, so... that seems right?
Whilst it is certainly the right place for Georgian language, some foreign signage wouldn't go amiss at an international travel hub! 👍
ER2 best train ever made (no irony)
Better than an IET
Safety is clearly the number one priority in Georgia 😂
Absolutely! They do have some very nice trains as well though. ;)
@@SuperalbsTravels 😄
Ar least there is a train, think again...
Worst train Europe? Is Georgia in Europe in the first place?
It's contested...
Still rather travel on this than the new shite trains out of Paddington!
the train is so slow aswell
Would you want it to go faster?
@@peterd788 yh pretty much
'Go' before you travel!
Think that's advisable...
It is NOT the worst, I mean what do you expect for 4 cents lol?
Wasn’t Stalin Georgian, looks like his influence is still there
Yes, the stalin museum is in Gori, Georgia. It was his home.
Lol, you should've tried Indonesian trains before 2014. The Indonesian Ones are worse before 2014 with extremely smelly toilet, illegal passengers, and lack of air conditioning. And a lot more
Would have loved to! Bet it was a real experience.
@@SuperalbsTravels yeah. I remembered whe I was a kid and picked up my father on the Railway Station pre-2014. Damn, the smell
Nowadays is better.
Great vid for 13p u can't moan it starts it stops it was warm, on time.
A little bit late, but I got there in time for my flight. It was overall very fun, and I would do it again for sure.
Looks like an iteresting journey, remeber to go to the toilet before you leave! Who paid for the swanky airport as I assume Georgia is broke.
If you're rich you have swanky airport and swanky central station and trains... If you're less rich you can't have all that but you can choose one. Nothing strange.
ER2 the best
