9:51, I just realized that the looking at the front of the face is suppose to be a larger smile but, just after you drilled it and turned to the side, it kinda looked like Douglas's shock face from Escape. Now we're missing Toad. Great work though ❤ PS: the twins could have looked like this during the ranges final year(2017).

Really nice customs there! 👌 7:43 I always had a wooden Donald but no Douglas whatsoever. I remember going to Toys 'R' Us a couple of weeks after getting Donald to buy Douglas, but it turned out that there wasn't any left on the shelves and since then I still haven't been able to get one, especially in these days, where TWR is pretty rare in Sweden. But if one does pop up for a decent price, I'll definitely get it.
Another fantastic work! They look incredible. 8:02 I did, i only had a Trackmaster Douglas and no Donald to go with him. I said "had" because since i was a destructive child i ended up unscrewing him apart and he ended up in pieces, all i have left of him is his shell without the smokebox or face and one of the tender's wheels. RIP to Douglas I'm hoping to one day get them both and this time take them with care XD.

For quite a while I only had a Bachmann Douglas; he was my first HO/OO model but eventually I got Donald too :) Fantastic work, your craftsmanship is incredible
These models were fantastic man. Good job! If you do another engine I think you should do either James or Edward. They were both done dirty with their wheel configurations and overall designs.
Now these are the kind of Donald and Douglas models I'd like to have in my Wooden Railway collection. If Mattel really wanted to win back the crowd, they'd release models like these for the 2022 Wooden Railway line in 2025, and it's not like they're not trying in other Thomas merchandise ranges; they're releasing a new Trackmaster Thomas model that looks more like his CGi series counterpart, an 80th anniversary Golden Thomas MINIS model with an illustration of Thomas' Railway Series counterpart, and a new Diesel 10 MINIS model more accurate to his model series counterpart as a tie-in with the 25th anniversary of Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
All those requests mean, that we love your skills of making customs and want you to keep going (by making more fan favorite characters like the Twins).
I must say these models turned out really good, they look amazing you did an incredible job. And I also have a mismatch set of twins it isn't Donald and Douglas but it was Arry and Bert, I have a trackmaster Arry and a take along Bert and to this day I haven't got the complete set.
@@GeohToy You're welcome, sadly my Arry is not in good condition, he needs a new chassis because his old one somehow split in half and he needs touch ups on his yellow paint. I recently rectored his face and it turned out really good, I only need to find the yellow paint and a new chassis and he will be good as new.

I never had a take n play Donald, but I had two Douglas. One had a white spot on a wheel, so I resorted to using that to identify which one was “Donald”
My family and I always love watching your customs, whenever your Emily video first came out me and my mom watched it together since Emily is one of her favorites along with Scotsman. Donald and Douglas were always some of my favorites as kids despite not having many DVDs with them on it, and you’ve replicated them greatly in Wooden form. The use of the 3D printer is really nice too, and even if it’s not 100% accurate to the model, I’ve always interpreted the Wooden toys to be more simplistic and charming takes on the characters which is why they work so well for customization. Also funny story, when I was a kid I had both Donald and Douglas but lost Douglas’ main body. I still had the tender, but for the life of me I could not find him anywhere. Then, when I went to visit my grandma’s house, it turns out he fell under something and she had him the whole time, waiting for me to visit again.
8:07 I had a wooden railway Donald for 2 and a half years until I got a Douglas last year and I also had an original take along Donald but a round magnet take n play Douglas until Christmas when I got a take along Douglas to match my Donald
I had almost the same thing, a wooden Douglas and an Ertl Donald. Not even sure how I got the Ertl Donald because I got him in 2013 or 2014, so Ertl was long gone by then. Although, I did and up finding TWO 1999 TWR T-switch tracks in 2023, so I guess Amazon works in mysterious ways!
8:03 As a die-cast collector it always bothered me that my twins were mismatched. Growing up I had a Take Along Donald & an ERTL Douglas. Then a personal friend gave me their Take Along Donald to keep which led me to turning my original Donald into a Douglas. It took me until moving out into my own place for me to finally get my hands on a Take Along Douglas, courtesy of my friend Mullins Studios.

This is definitely an improvement from the originals and give so much life to some plain jain originals, I do have some feedback I want to give. 1. The gap between the front of the runningboard and smokebox is pretty big and is more closer together in the TVS 2. The Cabs are pretty tall and can do with some shortening. 3. The tenders feel small in height compared with apart of part of the cab
you know, this gives me an idea, since you did your revised version of Donald and Douglas, perhaps you could might do Bill and Ben for one of your next projects for 2025. I'm certain if you have other projects planned for 2025, so i'm only saying this for an idea or suggestion for your next revised custom wooden railway models.
I have a take and play Douglas with a Donald tender and I have both of their fisher price models(THEY MIGHT BE FAKE) and Donald’s face and smokebox fell of and I couldn’t screw it back on cuz my hands kept shaking so I hot glued them

When I was younger I was always looking for a clarabel everywhere but could only ever find Annie. I only have one clarabel and it has a broken coupling 😢
Hey Geoh, have you ever thought about using a bench vise table to hold your model for drilling holes or use a small drill press to drill perfectly on where you want the holes to be?
