Easy to clean indeed. The non-stick coatings aren't the worst because they're not PTFE (except the pizza pan, which does have a PTFE coating). So you could try and switch out all the accessories if you wanted to avoid any kind of non-tick coating at all. In this case, opt for uncoated stainless steel.
For the Emeril Lagasse air fryer #2- you said replace the pans with ones with no aluminum? Which ones do you recommend getting? Thank you for doing all this research! Appreciate you!
So, this was almost harder to research than the air fryers themselves! I've just about come to the conclusion that pans advertised as direct replacements for a certain air fryer are less transparent about their coatings than pans/baking sheets that are specifically made to be standalone products. I'd recommend this Wildone Baking Sheet Set: amzn.to/407iBzE (affiliate link). 10 or 12 inches should fit well. You can even see in the reviews that people have reliably used them as replacement pans for various air fryers. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for that info. I’ll order. It’s hard to keep up on what’s safe and what’s not. I have an old set of farberware pots that are probably 30 or 40yrs old that my mom gave me years ago and were still using. So it seems like stainless steel 18/0 is safe, but aluminum is not. Wonder if we should not be using the farberware. I do have an all clad d5 small set also. We are getting rid of the toxic air fryer today that likely has the bad non stick coatings. Thank you again!
I'm so glad I could help! My own kitchen setup isn't perfect, but I try to make it 80-90% non-toxic. I personally don't cook in aluminium, instead I switch it up between stainless steel, cast iron, and ceramic. Obviously, I do discuss a lot of air fryers on this channel that I personally wouldn't use, but which are still good in terms of functionality. I suppose everybody has their sweet spot when it comes to health. I just use air fryer ovens myself, especially because I'm cooking for 5+ people.
@@KitchenHacksCookinggood to know thank you. I’ll pack my old school farberware away today too 😂. Just not worth using if it may not be safe. Online some sites say it’s generally safe and other sites say it may not be. Seems like cast iron and ceramic are okay even if lightly scratched which is good. If you have any recs for a pot brand that is ceramic or cast iron let me know. I heard Caraway is good from looking online. But I heard you may need to replace ceramic pots every 3 yrs if it’s used a lot. Thank you for all your input!😊
I've been researching and testing a lot of different cookware lately, and I'll have videos coming out in January hopefully. For ceramic, I really like Xtrema because it's 100% pure ceramic, heavily tested, and they've been around for a while now. Whereas other ceramic brands aren't as strictly tested or as open about their manufacturing. The Signature Series Set is a good stating option, but you can always build your own bundle. I'll leave an affiliate link in case you or anyone else is interested: xtrema.sjv.io/yqgxG3 As for cast iron, I love FINEX, but the sets are pretty expensive, as you can see finexcastironcookwareco.pxf.io/EEKR39 Some lesser known brands that I really like as well are Stargazer cast Iron and Lancaster Cast Iron. Very reasonable prices for the heirloom quality, but they only do things like skillets, grill pans, and Dutch ovens, so you'd need to source your saucepans from elsewhere.
For the Café Couture, the brand has come out and said it's stainless steel. I'm not as certain for the Breville, but I think the interior is also stainless steel. I really wish brands would list all of the materials they use on the product page (but, to be fair, most of these are probably stainless steel inside).

breville has a non-stick interior coating! easy to clean! Don't you think that might affect food at high temperatures?
