I love your content. Been a watcher for a lot of years. Id love to become a supporter to pay you back for all of your entertainment. But i stay in Scotland where we are going through a massive crisis. Most of my friends have to go to food banks to survive. Im scraping by as i have a military war pension to keep me and my 4 sons going. I will do when o can afford it. Much respect temreki. 👌
I somehow ended up with 12 legendary parts by day 14. I was mostly finding them in duffel bags and backpacks and rarely in end loot. Now I'm checking every duffel bag I see.
I've told him how too get legendary parts 100 times he hasn't read a single comment of mine loot washer-dryer machines clothes baskets clothes piles gourmet bags new tents and old bookbags I had 40 by day 21 salvage country is the best you can walk away with 18 from that poi alone but the fun pimps nerfed the amount of salvage country's there is on the maps I'm playing a 10k map it has 2 salvage country's that's it
I found one of the tier 3 Savage Countries and would keep trying to get missions for it. Would get 8-14 legendary parts per run before I finished the magazine set that gives you increased chance to find them.
I found a ton in clothing stores

I just started playing 1.0 last night. I’m on day three and I’ve already found several from just questing homes in my starter town. Thought they’d be harder to come by but seems like they’re pretty abundant.
Awesome slow motion shots on your last video dude on the horde night! Bodies flying through the air, bloody spilling etc. The editing in your videos is hands down the best 👌
@@MaxT80 I completely agree. Some of the best editing on a gaming channel I've seen, on par with Neebs Gaming. The soundtracks and the angles, hell; overall cinematography is chef's kiss!

The viscosity at which something goes from being drinkable to having to be eaten or chewed is when attempting to drink it would result in choking, and thus is different for different people, like the way some people need thickeners added to their tea
I always considered honey to be a thickener more than actual food/liquid, personally. Like adding it to tea makes the tea just a tad bit thicker.
I would say drinking is a form of eating.
@@JigsawSaysHello I consider honey to be essentially sugar, and ends up being more or less solid depending on the amount of crystallization. I don't think I have ever experienced honey making my tea any substantial amount thicker, although maybe I didn't add enough 😅
@@fyreguy2384 I'm thinking a little differently. For instance, I eat from my plate. I drink from my glass. The phrase "eating and drinking" refers to two separate and identifiable things rather than one being a form of another. I'm not sure that I know of any reference to drinking being considered a form of eating
I think my viscosity line is brown gravy. It can be eaten on things, but also can be drank from a mug.
If something is thicker than brown gravy, it is eaten. Thinner is drank.
But, to a previous commenter's point, maybe the serving vessel truly makes the decision as to which verb to use.
This is hard too, where do bowls end and mugs begin?

Lol, right after figuring out fire mod is bad for stealth and taking it off of his axe, he throws a burning shaft mod on his machete.

I was taking a nap in that tower at Close encounters. That first arrow hurt and woke me up but thanks for putting me back to sleep.
So much for slowed down progression in 1.0! You've really pushed through and made good strides in early game. I respect that you push yourself outside your comfort zone for the reward of better loot and faster progression.
If you follow the games progression it’s significantly slower than what it used to be but if you are semi decent at this game you can bypass multiple steps and speed up progression fairly quickly. I am honesty not sure how they could balance it to where it’s slowed down anymore without it turning into a tedious chore.

A couple tips for stealth I've come across. Some doors (mainly most of the closet doors that zombies like to hide behind) make less noise to destroy them than to open them. If you're able to get within range with your axe or even use a shovel that has a longer reach (they usually take 1 hit to destroy anyway) it produces less noise overall than to open them or shoot them with some kind of projectile. It also produces less noise to take each item from a container into your inventory one at a time and then exit it manually than to press the 'take all' button. Especially the louder metal containers like safes, cars, etc.
It may not be much of a difference, but in some cases it may just be the difference between waking up zombies or not. As always, love the quality of your content, keep it up the great work! (:

In health-care, sometimes patients have modified diets due to choking incidents. Thick-It is material used to thicken liquids, making them from syrup to chewable.
Anyway, honey-thick liquids is a common goal. Still counts as drinking as they sometimes still use straws, but if you said you "ate honey" I think nobody would grief you.

My thinking is that something goes from "drinking it" to "eating it", when you have to chew it so as not to choke. As you suggested, this would be different for different people based on their ability

I think a more practical consideration is that in the temperatures of the environment you're in, the honey would likely have become extremely viscous or even crystalized, so then and there you were absolutely eating that honey.
Stealth is one of those interesting builds. Its so awesome and a ton of fun when it works right. You feel so badass being able to sneak attack a poi to death, but then sometimes it just fails and its so frustrating. Its why I so rarely go with it and stick with builds that are pretty much always reliable. Also, it kind of sucks you lose almost every part of it on horde night.

The honey question is for me I eat it. I have had bee hives and made my own honey and everyone I know says the same BUT that is in Sweden so might be different for other cultures =)
Also, I usually run with the Nerd outfit in my inventory, quickly switch to it when I get a few books, why? Simple answer, one Nerd outfit is one slot and if you get 2 different books or more, it will take up more slots. Simple inventory management =D

Drinking is when you consume from the liquid directly. So if you tilt a bowl and slurp it up, that's drinking it. If you consume it with a utensil (spoon in this case) then it would be eating.
I got used to Izayo's weapon mods so much, that I don't wanna play without them any more 😅

Agreed. Izayo's guns and a couple zombie packs were enough for me to enjoy mostly-vanilla

The only way I get mid to late game stealth to work now because of how some of the taggers work and I want to say they changed detection, is to use the assassin set. The set bonus lower to search timer. Which from testing seems to be very dependent on line of site (even if their back is to you they can see you). Just closing a door or ducking behind a wall for a couple of seconds and they just give up. Without assassins its kind of a crap shoot if doing that works but with the assassins it works almost every time. Ambushes are not fooled by it but if you get far enough away and then hide they can reset. Sure it is a very slow play style but at least its functional with the assassin. Between that and the Raiders crit resist these are my go to sets now.
I was after legendary Parts as well, SAVAGE COUNTRY ! I got 9 of them and 19 Armor Parts for Kits from the One POI .. Day 16 Warrior Just moved to desert got the Savage country Loot stage about 80, Im in Full Legendary Armor and Steel Spear.
Yep. The 1st savage country I stopped by was in the wasteland and omg the legendary parts and armor crafting kit parts I got was ridiculous. Honestly they probably need to tone it down. Same for the Crack-a-book stores...a bit TOO useful to raid for magazines.

@GNS what I like to do with the magazine space issue is just allocate one slot for the nerd outfit and put that on as I get magazines and the put my other armor back on after. That way your not carrying 20 slots of books back to base
Sleepers and light sleepers and sneaky zombies that won't trigger. Life with a stealth build is certainly interesting.

I used to love playing tactical stealth in this game, it was safe but you got less done in a day. But now with all the invisible trigger zones. Its almost entirely useless to attempt.
Waiting on Subquake to hopefully get Undead Legacy updated this year.
You and me both, pal. UL FTW. Its like Subquake took what TFP were saying they wanted to implement in terms of gameplay (learn by looting, for example) but actually well implemented. Its more 7dtd then 7dtd in that sense.
The worst ones are when you're doing a clear and you get to the marker but there's no zombies. You have to actually trigger the trap for them to even spawn...
Yea I actually stopped bringing lockpicks on my runs, without dropping points into the skill they just aren't worth it. Takes the same amount of time to break it open as it does to pick, but spending 14 lockpicks for one chest takes WAY longer than breaking it with an iron pick.
and many times the loot aint worth the picks
@xkblxcripple plus you can only craft em in a workbench, it's actually quite easy to make a one use pick without tools, I just smash em open.

I feel like a mechanism where you lose a bit of loot, 10-15% loot lost, if you force it open instead of using a lockpick might help balance the lockpicks and lockpicks skills.

Those infestation quests are no joke. I did a tier 2 in the burnt biome on day 11. A radiated janitor took me out quickly. I'm sorry my level 3 stone spear and level 1 picket knife weren't up to snuff to take him on.
If ever you, one day, are faced with doing an infestation at a place called something like "Us Army outpost #7", get ready for the fight of your life. Seriously, it feels like its a compo-pack POI with how there are...well I think several hundred zombies throughout the base. Did it in the wasteland...and burned through 1000 9mm ammo, 450 shotgun shell, and 450 7.62 shot by a sniper no less...absolute mayhem and probably would have died without parkour lvl 4.
Viscosity is determined by a straw. You wat honey. And some really thick shakes.
A really good source of cloth is at the military bases. All the tents are made of cloth not polymers. You can usually make it out with over 200 cloth from tier 4 poi
Those wanderers are sleepers who woke up and lost you because of your armor set and stealth in general.

I come from rust community and i watch most big content creators that play rust, i intend to do the same thing here on 7 days to die but so far you are the only one that is enjoyable to watch. Really good content and cuts, nightvision goggles are a bit annoying to watch through and i would prefer atleast 1 hour videos. Good job so far!

yeah I noticed they changed the tactical range so everything doesn't rush you at one time anymore... even when not using stealth you have to go around the entire area to wake everything up... kinda sad, it was fun to lay a trap for 'em and watch 8 or 10 zombies go flying through the air when you blow up the grenades and barrels :D
So that "big garage" at the farm is called a barn and tbe tower next to it is a silo (for storing animal feed or silage). I guess you're a city boy.😊
You're really creative with the base designs
In 7DTD you eat honey as it gives you food and not hydration.
Honestly with the mining equipment you already got you could probably make 1 trip to the desert and mine enough oil shale in a single night for your entire playthrough.
Especially since he can make stacks of gasoline.
a great mod idea would be a little sound effect to go off when you get the nerdy armor skill book bonus.
I used to play all sneaky like this when I first got into the game... but now, i much rather prefer a brawling type where I alert every zombie and just smash them, lol. Way easier and more satisfying!
Instead of jumping while sneaking, I use the ramp block the sneak up onto railings and counters.
Keep your nerd outfit in your inventory Tem! That way you can periodically clear your magazines and save inventory space! I really find its what works best. Cheers
the best source of legendary parts I've seen is clothing loot... even random clothes piles on the floor. I bet a savage country would be a gold mine for legendary parts...

I haven't followed any of your 7d2d series since Borderline. Your editing of your tasks etc. has become so much more digestable and enjoyable.
Also I'd like to suggest a fun potential mod - what about horde events? Could be something low impact such as all zombies are fat, or perhaps something more chaotic like "all zombies spin". If youre familiar with GTA5 Chaos mod, its inspired on that.
In between these serious series, one-off or small series with joke mods or joke ideas would be nice to take a break and enjoy the game in a different manner

started a new game, have a lvl 6 axe and pick axe by day 4. crazy. i dont think i have ever gotten them both that quickly to level 6. axe is my weapon of choice for convenience.
A super-sneaky playthrough looks like a lot of fun! I'll have to lean into stealth a bit more, it seems. LOL - and also one has indeed become a 'wearer of many hats.' That works. I mean, how dapper is that hat?
Personally I think the best Biome is the desert, BUT! I create random gen biomes where the desert is nestled right between the wasteland and snow biome. That way I create my base and horde base right by the trader that is in the middle of all the action. Need meat, its a hop a skip away from the snow. Need looting, not far away either, and all the ore you'll ever need is right by your base. Best setup IMO.

I think honey was always something you swallow, because it's thicker than water but not close to something you eat or munch on
So ur buying hat is for buying not for selling u can go for the enforcer glasses and u can sell and buy for a discount. still one of the best YTers out there for this game that is so much fun to play wish more of my friends played this so I had something to do after work.

You have sleeper zombies, sleep walkers and the occasional Ambien Zombie who doesn't wake for anything.
8:45 If its in tea, i drink it. If its in food, i eat it. Its quite versatile like that.
GNS, build a 2nd assassin head gear with the perception mod. Put some points into animal tracker to help with the XP farm which is animal hunting and bulk up rifle skills.

You do not drink honey unless it is mead. You do not eat honey unless it is a honeycomb. I was raised in the wilds by grizzly bears and they taught me honey is nom nom nom-ed.

The best thing for cloth is cotton plants and the farmer armor piece get one point in living off the landyou can get a box full of cloth this way

The update have not change the trigger mechanism on every land/quests. They still have the old triger when you in a specific area zombies wake up. Next update hope the fix that because the old mechanics cancel the stealth buffs

Curious as to how you get the video shots that you do. Is there a 2nd person flying around in god mode while you fight or do you have some kind of drone addon? LOVE your videos from the slow motion to the various montages. Superb work.
Fully looting Savage Country stores gives me tons of Legendary Parts and Armor Parts, just FYSA

You should take the nerd outfit with you. It only takes up one slot versus all those slots for magazines.
Look for a silo in town. I found oil shell inside on the bottom.
Honey is Food, it satisfies hunger and increases thirst. Viscosity has nothing to do with it at that point. lol

@@MaxT80can you blame him? Game has been in development for almost 11 years now and it JUST hit “full release”. I have zero issues with the time it takes if they are constantly making improvements but it always felt like 2 steps forward and then 1 step back. I personally don’t know a single person who likes the crafting magazine mechanics without modding the stuffing out of it. You still cannot crouch through 1 block spaces. Now traders are locked into biomes which is a massive downgrade on random generation maps. They watch RUclipsrs like jawoodle, nerd n steel, and prebuilt and when they find a fun mechanic that is a glitch they immediately prioritize removing that glitch instead of finishing their game. I saw maybe 2 “game breaking” glitches that I could understand but the rest didn’t need to be prioritized. Focusing on actual issues in the game should have come first. That reload glitch was in the game for months. I enjoy this game but I personally think the developers have some oddball priorities. I personally believe this game needs mods to feel “complete” and after 11 years most people have lost patience.

Why don't you read the magazines as you pick them up? Then you wouldn't run out of inventory space as often.
Hmmm... Straws and Forks typically determine if it's an Eat or a Drink. So, I'm going with honey is an Eat.
