The Quest progress reset was a bug that came with some update where in between you lost progress in the Tiers. So imho perfectly fine to repair the progress back to what it was using the "cheat menu".
@@overlord-6644 Well what he showed in the video 22:32 is to spawn Quest ticket via Creative menu to activate Tier 6 infestation without talking to trader. This will not fix the current trader quest bug.
I haven't played this game in like 7 years, starting playing again with my friend and we got a direwolf horde on day 8 in the pine forest biome. Fucked us up big time. But then we never saw a horde like that again, even when we got to the day 40's. It kept us on our toes for the rest of our playthrough which was fun
I’m finding my go-to money maker still works in v1.0 - minibike handlebars. They’re cheap to make (don’t sell your headlights!), sell for 400+ dukes each and stack to 50 so you can sell 150 at a time to a single trader.
Interestingly, if you can find a way to get them semi-reliably, the current top 'tier' for pure money remains treasure maps. That said, they will probably realize you can get 10k-15k per map easily soon, and then nerf the loot from them. Or make them even harder to find.
@@Re3Ns ohhh, now you want details, details that are often overlooked in the heat of the moment. I think it took about a full day, yet you just place it in, then remove 28800 from a trader, based on skills/candy results may vary.

The same thing just happened to me on the job thing. Did 7 tier 5s for Joel in the Wastelands only to log on today and all he has for me are tier 2. Plus ALL my vehicles have disappeared. I'm scrapping my series now because of it. Hopefully, they get this stuff fixed. Keep up the great work!
I agree there must be a disconnect between how hardcore players play vs. how the devs play. It doesn't make sense to stop at each trader/biome like what the game intends. Speeding through quests and making a permanent base in either the snow biome or wasteland is the most optimal method for progression since desert biome and below don't really spawn anything above a tier 4 at best. This is most likely why they added a 3 quest per day limit.
This was such an awesome and extremely entertaining playthrough! Yes, the assassin armor was OP, but it was so much fun to watch you sneak through infested POI's like that. I really would love to see a junkie playthrough next run. Full junk turret and sledge turret build with the stun baton would be so cool.
While I would agree the t6 assassin armor is op, I think it's balance comes from the slower pace of play and the ceiling zombies that get left behind etc. As broken as that set is, it doesn't fit my playstyle and I won't use it. So for ppl that enjoy the sneak playstyle it is amazing, for everyone else it is useless.
That's the beauty of it, you can choose whatever style and set that suits you. For me, the assassin set is my favorite option. After working all day, it's nice to do some of those higher tier POIs with a low profile play style.
Yep, you can be slow and safe at night, or play so you are going through POIs fast and furious in the daytime. T6 Assassin Gear and fully capped Agility & Agility skills and T6 Agility Weapons I would expect to be nearly unstoppable. Part of the problem is Armor crafting skill is too easy to improve.....since the magazine likelyhood is based on your actual highest main perk (Strength, Fortitude, etc.) and not an actual armor skill. Which means you are going to be improving it directly ANYWAY. Putting it on the armor skills again would be better, as then you have to spend on a particular tree AND the skill itself to up the chances significantly. Would slow the progression, and would make the progression on the armor trees independent (rather than improving light, medium, and heavy together all at once.)
Hardly anyone uses it. And it's also balanced by not being useful during a horde (so you really need two sets of armor just for fighting) and some situations (daytime often) when it doesn't work. When the zombies do find you, they hit *hard*. And who would use it in multiplay as if you go in with someone else, they wake everyone up. Also I've seen Glock in heavy armor just walk through zombies without getting hurt at all, so that's the same as sneaking through them but sneaking is much slower. I *really* hope they don't "fix" it based on this kind of feedback. It's still pretty useless to most people and they'll take away any chance of anyone trying it.
@@saganathasme - Yes, there was an exploit that allowed heavy armor + banded mods at T6 to basically become 100%+ damage reduction. They've supposedly fixed that now, so you can't get more than 99% armor rating. Even so, that makes you take very little damage, especially with Pain Tolerance skill maxed. So yes, T6 armor + Q6 weapons + high skills + finished perks = nigh invulnerable. Which is kind of what you'd expect.....top tier everything should make the player a complete badass. They've made armor too fast to level through for crafting and made it too expensive money-wise at the trader to not do so. Which means you'll have T6 Armor (of any type) before you even max out your skills. T6 armor crafting should require finding a schematic for THAT particular armor. And T6 items should be lootable at top tier lootstage.....not just from a specific kind of container or two. As it is currently, by the time you've survived 2-3 blood moon hordes you've usually leveled up a single stat to at least the 7-8 range, and have the included weapon skills under it at 4. Armor books become VERY common at that point, and you zoom up to 100 pretty quickly. I had the ability to craft T6 armors on day 25 or so. Had T5 or T6 weapons/tools for almost everything. My only real limiting factors were resources, armor/weapon parts & legendary parts. And knowing what POIs were more likely to have the containers those spawn in made it easier to pick missions and get them reliably.
@@heliumphoenix Yeah I don't get why complain about being OP when you reach the "end game." Even if horde nights do continue on there is an "end point" to the game in terms of progression and for most people if you don't feel powerful at the very end of the game after working toward getting stronger than what's the point?

Another great ending to a great series. Don't sweat it about using creative menu to fix bugs. If you are taking ideas for future series, maybe a wasteland-only, no trader run where you have to build your base inside one of the remnant skyscrapers. No separate horde base, and you have to build within the existing structure of the building, including not tearing down any of the floors. Feral sense can be on as well, if you want. If you are at the top of one of the remnant skyscrapers you should be out of the feral sense range from zombies on the streets.
Am gonna wait for your next series man! I always watch your vids before going to work, kinda soothing and enjoyable. Brings smile to my face plus the additional awe from your cinematics. Man you rock!

i must say, this was imo the coolest theme base i've ever seen. after the paint job, it looked absolutely awesome! in case of the quest progress: i heard, they changed the quest progress somewhat. (you cant progress more than 2 or 3 quests per day or something like that). maybe you got rolled back because of the progress earlier in the game, or its just a bug. the assassin set: though it's really op in those specific situations, i think it has as many drawbacks. you progress slower through the pois than a brawler or spray-and-pray player. if you're discovered, you have to lose the zombies somehow or you're screwed. and on horde nights/cases where the zombies always know where you are, the assassin set and skillset are "useless". i don't think, they will nerf it.
This was a good series, it highlighted new mechanics and pointed out some smoothing needed for the new armor system. I tend to really prefer these semi-IC works of yours, like these series and the Helldivers 2 weekly reports, so I may just wait out the raft of content you're planning (livestreams/console/tutorials), but I remain forever a fan.
genuinely surprised that you went with blue and white as opposed to your usual black and red. the base looks fantastic both inside and out. very stylish and a great build but i'll still always love the horde every day base. watching that get iterated on again and again until it was perfect was a clear highlight of that series.
Great series, I have enjoyed every moment of it. You play the game like a regular person, which I enjoy, but you also seem to have a +10 to your real life intellect which makes everything just better. Looking forward to whatever fun you decide to share with us next time!
I’m confused on what the devs were trying to do. It seems like the balance is still out of wack, traders are still OP, and the biggest issue with the game persists that the end game content is basically non-existent. Another great playthrough though Tem, fantastic work as always
I loved your videos, keep up the great work and thank you for turning on the subtitles. Because of the automatic translation I can understand what it says.
Great play through, love the base. Also, thanks for the weather, dew collector and beautiful basses mods I use them in all my playthroughs now. I have not found a single vehicle mod in my current play through and I am currently on the 4x4. It seems to me that since they introduced the magazines getting mod schematics has been really hard.
Subscribed because of this playthrough! Love the vibes :) For your next playthrough maybe have the rule that you are only allowed to interact with the traders five times. Not buy from the traders, but interact. So as soon as you check out what they have for sale, you lost one of your visitations. This way there is also a gamble risk, because there is a big chance they don't have what you need.
Another great series Tem! Lookin forward to what you've got cookin next. Would love a playthrough where you live for 2 weeks in each biome with a different horde base, but that's obviously a lot of work. Also, they should change lvl 4 parkour to give a double jump instead of the head bashing super jump.
Awesome playthrough! I noticed that Direwolves and Zombie bears dropped orange lootbags 100 percent of the time after the new update. They also spawn very frequently in the wasteland at night time.
Enjoyed the series Tem, looking forward to the next one! So glad you covered the wiring for draw bridges as thats on my to-do list today and havent played since early A21 so I've forgotten. I too was victim to the progression reset after update.
4:00 Using a pressure plate at the fighting position would work well for drop control. Use one to activate it for 15 seconds to drop them, use a switch to disable it. One thing I've noticed is NO ONE seems able to unlock their inventory (pocket drops being very rare). Might actually have to resort to pack mule.
Build a building with a auto door on the roof, fly over, door opens, land inside door closes. Protected Helipad. Also for a challenge I've always liked playing with a range of 7 days (so 1 day of guarantee break but then you never know what day the horde will show for 7) for the blood moon event. If you turn the warning to only show later in the day almost night it's even more intense. A number of times I've been caught at a POI and suddenly had to really think on my feet.
watching this has been fun, the quality of postproduction made this outstandingly enjoyable, the end is a bit typical for 7d2d i guess (patch and mission tiers), looking forward to the stable release even more now
I just "finished" my most recent play through of 1.0 I gotta say it's a lot of fun starting out since the zombies are so much harder to deal with when you're fresh, but by day 14 I had already fully completed tier 5s and unlocked tier 6. I had my nerd armor, which made magazines too easy to obtain, I knew the Assassin armor was too OP, so I never upgraded it beyond level 5, but even that's too easy. I just did three Tier 6 quests in the wasteland on the day of a horde night and made it back in time to wipe out the horde on night 28 (which is where I elected to call it a done playthrough). Games in an awkward place currently. It's far more punishing early on, the mid game is much more fun because you feel a genuine threat from the zombies, but by the late game, it's a total snoozefest. You almost have to handicap yourself with something. No purchasing of items, no air drops, no digging for treasure, or hell, using a Forgetting Elixir in the late game to remove all of your talents and never put them back in. Something to put yourself at a disadvantage in the late game.
I myself have waited a month for the 1.0 stable version to be released and it is my first touch with the 1.0 version and for a month I have only played the 21.2 version. I've been watching your current series since it started.
Honestly, the stealth looks good. Really good. But I was busting up these T5s and T6s with full raider set, Punch build and absolutely breezing through. I think you'd love that playstyle too, and recommend it!
Great episode! The base was looking real slick - I particularly liked the 'V' for Vanguard look. It's a shame the quests bugged out, but you definitely did the right thing in response. Looking forward to what you produce next!
What a fun series to watch, I would like to see a zero trader run since, yeah they do seem rather broken still. Maybe you can use them to sell Items only for the duke coins for parkour skills as well as money for vending machines

Man I haven't been more excited about a game in so long I cant remember. Your base is sick love these vids keep up the amazing work
i must say, this was imo the coolest theme base i've ever seen. after the paint job, it looked absolutely awesome!
in case of the quest progress: i heard, they changed the quest progress somewhat.
Another great series as always Tem! 🎉🎉
Your videos are always a treat to watch 😊
genuinely surprised that you went with blue and white as opposed to your usual black and red. the base looks fantastic both inside and out. very stylish and a great build but i'll still always love the horde every day base. watching that get iterated on again and again until it was perfect was a clear highlight of that series.
Great series, I have enjoyed every moment of it. You play the game like a regular person, which I enjoy, but you also seem to have a +10 to your real life intellect which makes everything just better. Looking forward to whatever fun you decide to share with us next time!
I really appreciated the change in montage songs, to include some genres I haven't heard a ton. The classical one was particularly neat.
Thanks for this amazing series!
I'm looking forward for the next one!
I’m confused on what the devs were trying to do. It seems like the balance is still out of wack, traders are still OP, and the biggest issue with the game persists that the end game content is basically non-existent. Another great playthrough though Tem, fantastic work as always
Thank you for this series, I marathon it all!
I loved your videos, keep up the great work and thank you for turning on the subtitles. Because of the automatic translation I can understand what it says.
The update to b328 killed my 2nd playthrough, sadly. Don't blame you at all for ending the series this way. Great series.
Another good series in the bag.
Man, stealth got such a big update with the assassin gear.
loved it! i think the no trader playthrough is a good idea. especially since most weapons/tools are crafted now
The cougars in the snow biome drop good loot too.
Subscribed because of this playthrough! Love the vibes :)
For your next playthrough maybe have the rule that you are only allowed to interact with the traders five times. Not buy from the traders, but interact. So as soon as you check out what they have for sale, you lost one of your visitations. This way there is also a gamble risk, because there is a big chance they don't have what you need.
Thanks Tem, cheers cobber.
Always looking forward to more of your vids Tem.
Another great series Tem! Lookin forward to what you've got cookin next. Would love a playthrough where you live for 2 weeks in each biome with a different horde base, but that's obviously a lot of work.
Also, they should change lvl 4 parkour to give a double jump instead of the head bashing super jump.
Finished off with a Bear Ride. Perfect. :)
In the forest biome, on Nomad difficulty, I got a couple of Direwolves in my Day 28 horde.
That's pretty cool, I wouldn't mind seeing bear too
Wow what a fantastic series. Thank you so much! Love to see the next one!
Amazing serie! Just discovered the channel and already saw two series, awesome content
Great series as always!! Love the killing to the music!
Underrated production value!!
This has been a great series. NO TRADERS is what I have been waiting for
We LOVE, ride the bear! 🤘🤘
What a fun series! Appreciate all the work you put into these videos.
Hey lad. I like the idea of ''No trader run'' which i am accualy doing it. With a priest set and base is well. A church :)
Great series..❤
Here from ep1❤
That base was absolutely amazing
Thanks for your series in Experimental, you were able to showcase many new things in 1.0. See ya in Stable! 😃
smoothest video stream of 7DtD streamers! always so on-point! Love watching your channel
As always you bring the best content to us. Love your channel and looking forward to all the new content you will give us! ❤
Love the music selection for the Scavenging Montage! 🎶
watching this has been fun, the quality of postproduction made this outstandingly enjoyable, the end is a bit typical for 7d2d i guess (patch and mission tiers), looking forward to the stable release even more now
I just "finished" my most recent play through of 1.0
I gotta say it's a lot of fun starting out since the zombies are so much harder to deal with when you're fresh, but by day 14 I had already fully completed tier 5s and unlocked tier 6.
Totally missed calling it The Final Snowdown. Well done as always!
The "ride the bear" at the end was hilarious.
Great first series for 1.0! Thanks Tem!
I myself have waited a month for the 1.0 stable version to be released and it is my first touch with the 1.0 version and for a month I have only played the 21.2 version. I've been watching your current series since it started.
I would love to see you do a 100 days series on one of the big maps. But either way Love the content man!
Loved this series! I love every series you do to be fair. Can't wait to see what's next!
Honestly, the stealth looks good. Really good. But I was busting up these T5s and T6s with full raider set, Punch build and absolutely breezing through. I think you'd love that playstyle too, and recommend it!
Fabulous Series, Fabulous Paint job on the base! Thank you for the entertaining content!
I love the dire wolf and other hardcore zombies getting stronger it is like a little mini boss almost but is so fun
This series was good. I really enjoyed your editing, base building and horde nights. I wasn't keen watching people play stealth but wat matters is that you enjoyed yourself.
I can't wait to see what you have in store for your next series. P.s i apologise temreki for my previous comments, felt bad especially since i support you on patreon
