Not just directors, also get the WRITERS who put so much love and passion into these characters. Enough with this don't engage with the source material nonsense.
Writers are definitely crucial for a good story about these characters and the world around them

Pretty sure Marvel’s waiting for the season to end to make sure they are worthy of directing the MCU X-Men. The people who worked on this project need recognition, and what better way to do that than giving the reign on handling the movie.

Well, live action and animation are two completely different mediums. Just cause they're great directors in animation does not mean their skill set is going to carry over into live action. Let alone for a live action X-Men movie which will be action and effects heavy
That Wolverine Adamantium Rage game for Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis was practically unplayable. They spam the shit out of Wolverine in the 90's and 00's and it's annoying AF
It's funny though because when the X-Men guest starred on two episodes of 1981's Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, as well as the 1989 Pryde of the X-Men pilot cartoon, Wolverine wasn't given as much agency and spotlight there as he was later, so those felt like more of a team focus.

Something I like is that we get chracter episodes like Gambit, storm, Jubilee and Magneto (the court case)
Episode 5 shines a spotlight on Gambit as a warrior and a man. He was never in any of the movies except as a side character in the Wolverine Origins movie.
Even people who never liked Gambit LOVED that episode.

Here are some things i wanna see.
Wolverine movie with him fighting silver samurai. Not the version from the Wolverine though. I wanna see full comic accuracy.
Gambit and rogue movie. Theres enough material for them. Maybe a show for gambit adapting sinister redemption since I have the first comic.
Cyclops and jean grey in a movie.
Maybe then a live action xmen movie with all the 90s roster and then add in the other characters with sinister as the villain.

They can write the movies but find a talented director who will work closely with them to bring their vision to life.😊
They should be brought as consultants for sure. They understand X-Men, but one thing is to do a TV animated show, another completely different is a full on feature live-action film. Their experience making movies is what matters because this isn't any project, it's a billion worth property that might be the salvation of the MCU. One shot, can't miss it, can't risk it.

YES!!! Is this even a question? They have single handedly made one of the best X-Men and Marvel content in years, so much so that everyone is praising the show. Only complet idiots like WB or Universal would look at the success of the show and think "Nah."
I would actually prefer them sticking to animation. They just can do so much more without being chained to MCU and live action in general.
