I love Timmy, I hope he never retires, someday he's gonna have too, but man are we so lucky he's still playing & still being on top! 5IVE for Timmy!

His teammates let him down but he did everything possible to keep them back in. Good effort. If he only admits he flopped and made a mistake and wown't do it again I will not hate him at all.

    I truly can say that I haven't had so much amazement & emotion for basketball until watching this Spurs team in this series. It was fundamental basketball at its finest, & I think my generation is use to teams such as the Heat. This was a reality check for everybody, fans, coaches, and players. It was refreshing to take in the greatness I just witnessed from this team. I have so much respect for the Spurs and of course Greg Pop. This Finals win was well deserved for them so BRAVO!

      Plus, it was a reality check for the NBA itself. The Spurs get the least "spotlight" and attention out of all the NBA teams. No love for this team whatsoever. Every year you hear about Carmelo, LBJ, Rose, Westbrook, Durant, who is the best, who will top MJ someday, who this and that..... No one even mentions the LIVING LEGEND, Tim Duncan, and his crew! The guy has more rings than all those CLOWNS combined.

    Let me get this straight: The Spurs beat the Heat, a team that was put together by questionable means with three top players scheming with Pat Riley years and years ago to only sign to the same team so that they could be together and increase their chances to win championships, but lost to the Spurs, a team that was built through the draft and free agency signings. Man oh man, what the Spurs have done is one of the most impressive in the history of sports and can't be applauded enough! To beat the Heat, a team full hype and favoritism from the refs and the media is truly remarkable indeed!

      when two top 3 players (in 2010) come together, everyone is going to care. regardless on what everyone says, the 2011 bulls, 2012 celtics, 2013/2014 pacers were all tough opponents for the heat. they made it to the finals 4 years in a row. the spurs yes now have 5 championships but also keep in mind that they had a drought from 2008-2013. miami even beat them once in the span. as far as it goes, it's 1-1. I'm hoping for a rematch next season. miamis trapping defense is very ineffective against the spurs ball movement so now we will see if spo can figure out a way around this.

      Last time I checked just because your an outrages talent, doesn't mean your not allowed to sign for less money to play with better players. Bosh,Wade,Bron were all free agents in 2010 you know.. and I believe guys like cole and nappier were drafted... so I don't see your point.

      I'm not a bulls fan, but they rlly need melo. If they get him then joakim won't be relied on for offence he can just focus on dfence and everyone knows how good he is on defence. What I'm trying to say is is that IF they get melo, then joakim won't have to waste too much energy on offence cuz Melos gnna be dropping shots like no tomorrow and if that happens then Noah won't be tired when he gets back on dfence. They would be super dangerous like that.

    I've never been more disappointed in Wade in my entire life. I've followed his career since he came into the league and it's sad to see the decline of a star especially the way he's going about it. I remember how great he was the first year of the big 3 then he was never the same going into the 2nd year. A man who in my opinion was once the best basketball player in the world can barely get a layup off against Splitter. His time is officially up. I can see him as a guy who will take a role more like Vince Carter on the Mavs and take a huge paycut to allow more talented young guys to come to this Heat team. Congrats to the Spurs for playing complete team basketball.

    • @XxSwaggerBoixX
      @XxSwaggerBoixX 10 лет назад +3

      Agreed. Very lazy defensively, didn't seem very committed at all. Too many lapses in concentration on both ends of the court. A sign that Miami need younger, fresher talent to transition the ageing veterans out to the lower depths of rotation - or even off the books.

    • @400EMP
      @400EMP 10 лет назад +2

      I always had this thought that too many stars is not such a great thing. now this is far fetched and possibly not true. Wade was a star without bosh and james. but since they came here. it's not "him". he now as well as bosh have to take a backseat and let james be the guy for the miami heat. that may mess with you mentality. you can't play the game how you want. What do you guys think. very unlikely theory. no?

    • @slactweak
      @slactweak 10 лет назад +1

      I don't agree that Wade is done. I think Wade was dealing with an injury or something that wasn't bad enough to keep him out of the game, but did affect his performance. If you think back to last year, the same thing happened to Manu. In all the Playoff series I've seen Manu in, I have NEVER seen him not show up the way he was absent in last year's finals. Manu even admitted, much later, that he wasn't 100% in that Finals which accounted for his poor performance. I think Wade was dealing with the same thing and I expect he'll redeem himself next year.

    Last year, the Heat did not win, the Spurs lost.. anybody with common sense understands that statement.
    As far as LeBron goes, you dickriding fans need to stop, like really. Stop making excuses, stop making up shit like "he needs a better team" cause when you have two All Stars, three Hall of Famers, best three point shooter ever and also Gold winning Olympians, you do not need a better team. He's now 2 out of 5 in the Finals and you want to say he's the greatest, lol.

      I'll go against the tide here, and actually agree that James needs a better team around him. Like any of the greats, he can have all the talent in the world, but it's not a one on one game. It's a team game, and he needs good supporting players around him to really shine.
      But the team is only the symptom of the real problem with his career, which is that he's never had a really good coach. Ever. He's had coaches who got lucky enough to have him on their team, rather than having genuine coaching skill. That definitely isn't the same thing as having a good coach who knows how to surround him with the talent that complements his skills. A coach who knows what he's doing with someone like James, as in being able to knock some sense into him when he needs it (no grandstanding TV specials), without breaking him. One that can really make him play to his potential, which is staggering, and help him minimize his weaknesses--which he does have.
      He doesn't seem like a stupid guy, so he could very well be in the process of demanding a new coach with real talent, or he'll bolt for a team that will give it to him. He would definitely insist on a guy who would teach the kind of ball movement he was facing in this year's finals.

    Thank you Spurs, for continuing to show people how important the fundamentals of basketball are. So many people get caught up in the flash of today's NBA, and rightfully so it is amazing to watch, but what people cannot forget is how important a TEAM and Fundamentals of the game are; making the extra pass, setting great screens, pass fake/shot fake, jump stops, help side defense, etc. was all on display for the world. Born and raised in SA and I have to say this is the best basketball I have ever witnessed from my Spurs. Team domination in it's purest form. Recognize and Appreciate it before it is gone.

    I wish every NBA team plays team basketball the way the Spurs do. It's just great to watch. Gregg Popovich did a great job coaching this team despite having much older players in Tim Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker. Their leadership contributes greatly on to the players that come off the bench. They don't have knuckleheads no egos, just a big family with the same mindset. Team work makes the dream work. Love or hate the Spurs, but you gotta respect em. Coming from a Laker fan good job Spurs 👍

    Why are people hating on Lebron? I see people calling him 'LeShit' or whatever but give the guy some credit. It seems like everything he does is a wrong in peoples eyes. Everybody is criticising this man but I don't see them criticise MJ. Bear in mind yes MJ is one of best players in the world he's right there at the top. People think of him as god, in fact his 1st 6 seasons with the Bulls they didn't even reach the finals until Pippen emerged. He shot 37% from the field against the sonics. I'm just saying LBJ averaged 27.3 ppg 7reb and 4.3 assists shooting 70% from the field in this series cut the guys some slack. It was a man vs machine series. Anyways congrats to the Spurs for winning the 2014 championships And also to Kawhi Leonard for winning the MVP you deserved it. We'll be back next year (Heat fan)

    Manu's iconic dunk:
    - He blew past Ray Allen who had that game-tying 3 pointer in Game 6 2013
    - He dunked on Chris Bosh who was the one whom rebounded and set up Ray Allen for that 3
    Sweet sweet revenge 😁

    first off. congrats to the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard on winning the finals mvp award. but as a LeBron fan i have to say what a four years its been with the Heat. with my dad in and out of the house, i watched LeBron to keep my mind off things. from being the immature villain that he was 3 years ago to being a changed man for the better in terms of being a player and as a person. along the way i saw him win two championships. but in 2011 i felt a hole in myself watching my favorite player not accomplish his goal of winning an nba championship. but i was still a fan after that summer and was inspired when the Heat redeemed themselves in 2012 and proved to the league that they could do it again in 2013. to make 4 straight finals appearances is something in itself but it also shows the dedication of this team to be stay elite. following this loss i no longer feel the hole of loss but rather an acceptance of how things are. ive changed after 3 years myself. from being an insecure kid to a young man no longer scarred by past experiences. ive been inspired by LeBron to make myself a better person both mentally and physically, despite what others may do to me. for that i will always be a fan of LeBron James.
