    Shane Battier = 6th pick
    Michael Beasley = 2nd pick

Even though this championship was 5 yrs ago, I feel like this one game solidified one of the most important aspects of basketball. Basketball is a TEAM sport. If your team can not win when your key player gets injured, then your team has problems.
So no when I watch an NBA game now, I look at those teams that have that key player. Because you know then if that player goes out, if you have an actual team.

I once played 3 games without a bigger pause in a tournament. I only rested for like 5 minutes in all those three games combined, my team really needed me. In the second game, i started to get cramps, but i continued to run and play. Then it got worse, so i took some rest. The game slipped out of our hands, so i subbed back in, but my cramps got worse and i couldn't help my team enough, so we lost. Then in the 3rd game, i felt a little bit better again, so i started. But then after a layup(like James) i got the hardest cramp of my life in my right leg, i couldn't move and just laid on the ground. I didn't play for the rest of the game, i couldn't.
Cramps can really hurt and take you the ability to walk. Especially if you get them but short after that play again or even continue to play with them. So don't blame James for not playing the final 4 minutes. He had cramps earlier too, the he subbed back in again and immediately after the layup, he couldn't walk anymore. You don't have a clue about cramps if you blame James.
The bad thing: my legs(especially the ight) hurt for 4 or 5 days after the tournament, but i think LJ gets good treatment and will be fine tomorrow.
    Let's go Heat!

Spurs will have 83% chance winning the NBA 2014 Finals. Why? In a Finals game series history 30+ times the best win record team in a regular season claimed the Title and only 7 times the best win record team lost.

    • @ATGboxfan
      @ATGboxfan 10 лет назад +1

***** What's wrong with my comment man. I just show facts that Spurs have 83% chance winning the Title because they are the best team in this 2014 season. You can check it for yourself. I think you're just afraid and can't handle the truth that Miami Heat can't handle Heat and no 3 Peat. :-D

That way when spurs are holding the trophy you won't have lebron bandwagoners and true heat fans saying they we only won because their best player was having cramps.

Cramps are no joke. I used to run cross country and cramped up in my calf after a race and literally couldn't move. There's no way to fight through it, you just have to wait for your muscles to relax.

    • @jas68maro
      @jas68maro 10 лет назад

ive had really bad calf cramps too. the first pain spike is horrible, as soon as you feel the cramp, point your toes toward your face that will stretch out the muscle. hold that stretch until you bring your foot down, but whatever you do , DONT point your toes away from your face or flex your calf muscle, that will make the cramp tighten up again.

Not going to make excuses for the Heat, because Spurs were the better team on the night and thoroughly deserved to win but the AC did have an impact. For a player the size of Lebron with so much muscle, the lack of oxygen from the heat made his muscle give up on him. Lebron did look tired because there was not enough oxygen to flow through his body. Either way, Spurs were far better and you shouldn't depend on one player because its a team game and you pay the consequences as a team when you let one person have the biggest role. Popovic is a mastermind, making sure everyone on that team is as important as the next person on the team.

The biological/physiological effects are exactly what you said. I am suspicious also that that happened, it seems unlikely and a good way to get inside the heads of 'the heat'.

Prince Halo True, and they complained too about the temperature. But I stand by the fact that that kind of sneakiness can be part of coaching.
..And it definitely effected the game, heat causes water loss, water loss dehydration, dehydration causes cramping.

    *TRUE NBA FINALS FACTS*:
*Paul Pierce*: Gets carried off the court in a wheelchair, comes out within 5mns and drains 2 3s in a minute span.
*Isiah Thomas*: Completely sprains his ankle in game 6 1988 NBA FINALS, come back and goes on a fucking rampage and carries his whole team, almost won the game.
*Michael Jordan*: Gets food poison from his hotel in Utah, comes in the game with high fever, headaches, dizziness and FLU. Masters through it and carries his team to a 3-2 lead back to Chicago.
*LeCramp James*: Talks about every game is a game 7 in pregame, gets carried off the court with cramps and walks his way to the locker room. That's the GOAT right there, according to his dumb blind fanboys.
OH, and KOBE drained 2 clutch free throws while on a torn Achilles and walked off the court on his own.

I am a lebron fan/heatfan and the spurs beat us far and square that 30-9 run summed it up ginobli was big in the 4th and if lebron CANT play for the rest of the series it is wat it is bc ik wade is going to step up bosh is going to have to step up and most importantly the bench is as for the spurs they are 3 games away from there 5th title and tim parker ginobli are future hall of famers and Greg pop is a great coach im not mad or complaining about the lost bc I watched the game and I do know that both teams were going at it until the 4th I give credit where its due and thats to tim and the spurs im lookin forward for next game to SEE what happens

its nice to see a fan like this...i am a die hard spurs fan and i really don't like trash talking! i wish the fans on both sides can be like this and respect each other and give credit to where its due!..it hurts to see others accusing the spurs of turning off the A.C. on purpose because both teams will be in trouble if they do so! plus the spurs are older than the heat so they will have the bigger disadvantage over it! they played on the same arena and same condition so the "Sabotage theory was way off!..and the lebron memes are way too harsh also...anyways let move on to game 2 and take this game 1 at a time!

Lol it's just sad how many bandwagon heat fans there are. There fanbase is a joke. When they are a bandwagon you can see in these comments they say "I'm a LeBron fan" or "say they root for multiple teams" 😂😂😂. This is why NFL is by far better than NBA. 70% of NBA fans are fans of players and not teams.

It's just funny to see that he's really human, knocked down by natural forces. I wonder how would he play in my brazilian summer....... for not too long. LoL
    Splitter played a good game.

I congratulate the whole San Antonio Spurs franchise for winning the 2014 championships this is the MOST EMBARRASING championship disappointments than the L.A LAKERS when they combined for:
    C - Shaq O'neil
    PF - Karl Malone
    SF - Rick Fox
    SG - Kobe Bryant
    PG - Gary Payton
LA LAKERS VS DETROIT PISTONS 4 - 1 2004 NBA Finals. and Now:
    C - Chris Bosh
    PF - Udonis Haslem
    SF - Lebron James
    SG - Dwayne Wade
    PG - Norris Cole
    SPURS VS MIAMI 4 - 1 NBA Finals 2014
Tim Duncan is unstoppable they tried throwing everything at him but they couldn't stop him. well fought series , and this is a very special day for Tim Duncan even if he decides to retire this season he had done his part as a Spurs player and a future hall of famer
to the fans and the whole San Antonio Spurs franchise congratulations on winning the 2014 championships you prove to the world that even if they had 3 premier YOUNGER Superstars in their team you DESTROYED THEM and prooved to the NBA THAT.
    HEAT'S BIG 3 , DONT FCUKING MESS WITH THE SPURS :D :D :D

People talking about how lebron was cramping but when kobe got hurt with achilles he still came back on the court to make the free throws. Also nobody carried him out he actually still walked on it just to get his team in the playoffs thats why kobe will always be better than lebron in my eyes. Lebron stay flopping and crying. Also if his team is down he might throw alot of shots up but thats kobe and he will takeover the game so his team wins. Lebron will pass it to ray allen or chris bosh because he aint really clutch. Thats why i laugh when ppl compare lebron to mj or kobe when they actually got skills. Lebron only bulldozer inside to get the points and aint got no ball handle really lol. Lebron fans be like (look at his shooting stats). When his team down he passes it so much so he dont have a bad shooting record.
