How to Carve an Eye in a Wood Spirit Video

This video is a step by step guide on how to carve a simple eye in a wood spirit. Wood spirits are my favourite thing to carve by far!
One of the areas that people tend to have the most difficulties is with carving the eye. I hope this how to video will help in finding a fairly straight forward way to carve an eye that turns out looking really great! Happy carving!!

Hey @91n03hd, I purchased the Helvie Starter Set (Starter Set #1; Helvie has a few starter set options) mine included a rough out, a detail and a mini detail knife. The handle style is 'bird tail'. I highly recommend these knives...I use them all the time!

Haha thanks Jay! You are 100% correct...convex not concave like I say in the video. We are looking to create a convex shape for the eye. Good catch and thanks again.
