    Thanks for going over this! I've been looking for an alternative to drawing than my ipad. Too many distractions. The world is missing an e-ink pressure sensitive drawing/sketching tablet that will look decent in sunlight and has color. This is the closest thing!

    Thank you for the video! They've done some updates on the drawing tools since this video which is great that the device will continue to improve without the need to purchase a new one! The eraser has been my biggest problem with it but there is a function where you can erase with the fine tip on the eraser section which makes detailed erasing much better.

    Good detailed demo of the pencil performance that seems to be missing in many other reviews. Looks like very interesting but not-ready-yet tech.

    Really nice review. Looks like so much fun. I would love to see the low quality exported image, just to know or see what is lost.....

    Hey thanks for making this one! I was thinking about buying this for note taking. I like note taking the oldschool way because it forces my brain into a more linear train of thought (if that makes sense) than typing. Now I've got an iPad pro, which I love for art, but note taking just doesn't feel right on it and it's just too much of everything else, so I keep going back to paper. Now I've been looking at this tablet and was wondering how it would handle pencil-like sketching - then found your vid. It answers all my questions and more! I'm going to order one and I'll be sure to check your other content. Keep doing what you do!

    Great video! I'd love to get one, hopefully RM3 will be out before I fill my paper notebooks I wonder if one could get lines being more thin using their original pencil or if it's a hardware limitation? Also have you tried their Connect subscription and saving artwork in formats other than vector? I actually like vectors on this if the quality would remain the same when opened in Photoshop, because then there would be no loss in quality when zoomed in. All the best!

    I just started looking at e-ink tablets for notetaking and drawing this week... how's the IAF on this? Have you compared it to any other tablets? (I'm also looking at the kindle scribe and the supernote nomad)

    it desperately needs a smudging tool. That's what makes a pencil a pencil...

    Amazing review! I'm loving my reMarkable 2 as well... I wasn't aware that we could upgrade the stylus!.. How has your experience been with this stylus, is it better than the original one?

    How's flipping through/navigating sketches on this? Got an onyx and it's painfully slow rendering through detailed sketches. The kindle scribe blows it out of the water but it's way more limited than the boox in several other areas.

      @TabletPro  5 месяцев назад

      it's not fast. not something that you will be flipping through like an actual book. I would guess similar to the Onyx

      with heavy sketches, it takes 2s at most w/kindle; seen upwards of 17-20s w/boox. Any idea w/RM2?@@TabletPro

      This is my first set of videos on an Eink display. My thought was that my regular audience doesn't have strong interest in these types of devices. I think they are really cool! My one wish for this device??? OneNote

      @@TabletProthe Onyx Boox has that. It’s basically a regular Android tablet with an e-ink screen, but all the art apps lag like crazy. One note being the exception as Onyx worked a lot to optimise it.
      My only concern is that their updates brick older devices. My Onyx Boox Note plus, gradually got worse with every update after a year and a bit. Eventually the last update just bricked it. I was hoping eventually they’ll fix it, but nah. And seeing as they release updated model very frequently, my money is on this practice still being the case.
      Personally I’m now on a remarkable, and it’s all I really need. The E-ink display isn’t ready for anything other than an experience designed around its limitations. I think remarkable kinda nailed that. Having access to the full playstore is quite the janky experience.

    A subscription to MAYBE output in a better format is an automatic no for me. Also, the refresh rate when sliding around and turning off and on layers looks terrible. Fix those issues and maybe I'd consider buying one.

      What if they don't care if you buy one or not because they make enough money anyways without your single purchase of their product? I think I'll buy one in your place, this item looks pretty good
