Since your show on Yum Shad scent, I got back to using scent. It works. On the Spike It (chartreuse) I use a q-tip to apply to specific areas of the bait. Thanks for your show.

Great video! The Anise is a carp catcher. They have a sweet tooth and they will inhale mulberries, hackberries, raspberries any of those that fall into the water. Those scents and anise works well on them. The best I’ve found is Procure and I’ll let my baits marinate in that for several weeks.
I was like you my friend, I didn't have a lot of confidence in fish 🛢 oils or attracdence. I got some as a present recently and I was just thinking about trying it out soon. Now that I've watched your post. I think that I will give it chance. Plus I have been having some bad luck on my 🎣 fishing trips so what can it hurt. Thanks you for sharing your experiences it's pushing me in the right direction.
I’m going to try and keep a jar rigged to the boat deck somehow to keep dipping a lure into. Hopefully make the process faster and less messy. That’s the biggest thing that holds me back from using it more often.
Having handy and close by would certainly help. I'm finding that just soaking my plastics the night before is working very well for me. A couple of squirts in the bag, close, and mix around. It's amazing how long the plastic holds the scent!
Always use it! recently bought a squid scent and am mixing with Bait Fuel. Just let the plastic soak at least overnight. Had the idea of using squid after bought some works from Aliexpress that stinks squid and catch everything.
Strike King's caffeine scent is more to mask human odors more than anything, as far as I've been told. Trial and error is precisely the process I'm using. Some things work and some don't. Then I make a video about what's worked for me.
So how do you feel about using scents? Good? Bad? Never tried them?
You convinced me to try different smells and scents and I really feel like I catch more fish. I like to make my own .
Well done video Sir 👊😎
Thanks!

Great tip!
Rotating scents like lures seems like a good idea! Thanks for another awesome video!
Glad you like them!

Haven't caught any carp yet, but we'll see!
Never really had luck with garlic but since you explained it better, I'll give it a try. I appreciate you brother! Enjoy your day!
Thanks so much for watching!

Awesome! I'm happy you liked it!

Thanks! I hope you are doing well!
This was a great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Good class thanks

Sounds like a great idea!
Chili dogs! Great analogy! I do love a chili dog! But they don't love me 😂😅
I'm a sucker for a good chili dog!
I like Pro-Cure.
Awesome!
What about Strike King's caffeine scent? And who exactly , besides the bass, determines what scents bass like? Could it be trial and error?

Mrs LB does it again!
She always does!
Been using scents for years. Never hit the water without them!
I think they help a lot!
Honestly, lures soaked in fermented fish slurry, work the best for me.
I can see that working!
Humans like garlic and salt too.
That's true!
Unscented BaitFuel entered the chat…
I haven't really had much success with Bait Fuel so far. But I'm still trying it.
Bougie 😂
Haha!
There's no reason that scents scents helps. I mean, humans get triggered by a steak grilling and food cooking right?
Bass certainly have scents that trigger them!
Has anyone here put their dead fish in a blender and made a pureed bait scent?
I haven't tried that. The fish would probably like it if you could keep it from going bad.
