Pac-Man Arrangement was my favorite on the cartridge, too!! Watching it now, it seems difficult but I remember beating the final boss sequence so many times 😹 The ghost transformations/personalities were the best part I think, & the floaty dots!
Holy shit Pac-Man Arrangement has some heavily compressed sounds and music also the songs play differently in this game pitch aside not sure why that is

Pac-Mania too has heavily compressed sounds and music the songs also don't play all the way through similar to Pac-Man Arrangement which is quite the mystery even Namco Museum GBA has better audio than this
Are you sure? Maybe youre mixing it up with a different collection, there are multiple compilations of pacman games that have been released. This sure looks like the version I had on GBA

That’s definitely to fit within the GBA’s capabilities, also GBA games are only 8MB in game files
