- Taking a break from the PS and hitting the GBA. I would much rather play the PS2 ver. for its superior music but this will do. The PsP ver. is simply my favorite and that leads to one question... How come there wasn't a arrangement for Ms. Pac-Man?

For some reason this screen is what made me remember this game.
"Someone, somewhere, is being chased by monsters" just stuck with me.
I was also surprised by how many of the screens I recognised, and how many of the unique (for pacman at least) mechanics I remembered (only after seeing them in the video though).
I'm not one for nostalgia, but this gives a hint of it.

Everything that you said resonates with me… like if someone were to ask me if I remember this game I’d be like nah but it’s not until you see it again with your own eyes that you remember! And yeah I also have a bit of nostalgia because I played this in my childhood but it’s not as strong as a nostalgia as, say Pokémon HGSS. Still, I’m amazed and surprised, like wow I actually played this game as a kid… kinda mind-blown tbh.
Definitely a must-play version of Pac-Man.

How can anyone get this game in 2020? You probably cannot even find a place to buy the GBA system to play it on. I wish there was a way. GBA SP games were fun.

@@zombiedemon1762 They sell a bunch of pre-owned GBA on EBay and I found this game too on there. Pac Man Collection. Sadly I gave away my childhood GBA and games to a now ex-friend. Hoping the pre-owned GBA I bought on eBay works but it says they are a trusted seller so 😁

@@zombiedemon1762 I know the legalty behind them is sketchy atm but there's nothing really stopping you from just downloading an emulator and getting a rom of the game. It won't feel the same as playing on actual hardware but it gives you plenty more options on how you enjoy the game with filters, controls, etc

I can't believe a memory of me playing this as a kid in a furniture store has stuck with me this long... I beat this game while my parents were looking around. It could be a decade since that time.

Yeah I like it too but I realize the game was just pac man with ms pac man style and smooth lightning of like pac mania and it feels less of a challenge

( Plus, the Wii U is great for old/retro titles. It can play Wii, GameCube, N64, etc )

Someone PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one! So Blinky (red ghost) does that thing where his face visibly becomes angry in most games including this one, which is titled his “Cruise Elroy” mode. Now, in this game, I would also see INKY take on the same angry face as Blinky. It was rarer and took longer to happen than for Blinky, but I still saw it countless times. There’s nothing out there that talks about this, and it drives me nuts. I also recall exactly 1 time out of the hundreds of times I played this, Clyde (orange ghost) getting the angry face. Maybe it’s a glitch?
It’s a glitch because only blinky (red ghost) puts his game face (furious) when the player, Pacman keeps messing with him by not finishing the level.

Red - Devil *Power:* Can Dash

Orange - Thick *Power:* Can Add Pellets which makes round not clear
This game was too easy with all of those continues. Love the visuals though. Use to bey favorite game on the Gameboy.
The game used to be arcade exclusive before being ported. Back then, each continue used to cost you a quarter or two. It was created to be a quarter gobbler.
There were 6 Namco Arrangement games produced, and 2 of them (Mappy Arrangement & Rally-X Arrangement) never left the arcades. 1 of them (Xevious Arrangement) was released on this obscure Xevious Playstation game. So I guess if you want to play those games without illegally downloading an emulator, they would still be considered quarter gobblers.
There is somethinf I don't understand about Pac-Man Arrangement... Why is Blinky (the red ghost) now called Clyde? (the orange ghost)

In The Original Pac Man Cartoon, Clyde Was Always Wanting To Kick Pac Man's Butt, But Blinky Was Scared Of Getting Eaten By Pac Man And Worried. Still Doesn't Explain Why Blinky Always Chases After Pac Man And Cruse Elroy Glitch.

Sometimes they switch the name up on some Pacman games. In Pacman World Series instead of calling red ghost blinky they call it Clyde instead so people think that with that name for the red ghost will make it more badass than blinky.
This Game Was My Childhood, Kinzo (Kinky) Was New To Me Back In Those Days, cuz I only knew the four most iconic ghosts, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde, Kinzo became interesting to me after I got to know them, the way she’s able to give the ghosts power ups, makes the ghosts have more sense in their job

Clyde becomes chubby and spits out large pellets that slow you down when you eat them. Otherwise, he's the most harmless of the four.

Dead Channel that’s what namco has been hearing about when people play this game so they won’t put kinky in any other Pacman games for good because it’s too inappropriate. Can’t blame japan because they don’t know that it’s a bad name for a ghost.
Pac-man 99 has lead me back to this game. And I am thankful for that.

I have NO legit idea why this shows the GBA version of Pac-Man Arrangement, and THIS is the most viewed video of the 1996 version of this game. Seriously, COME on! This JUST seems unacceptable... The GBA Version of this game has terrible sound and music quality, and the GBA version doesn't even let you post High Scores! You should've done this on the PS2, Gamecube, or XBOX!
One thing I was gonna mention is this... I went to Wikipedia to compare Pac-Man Collection and Namco Museum (PS2/Gamecube/XBOX) for the scores of Pac-Man Arrangement, as I've looked. Metacritic gave the GBA version a score of 79, and Metacritic gave the PS2 version a score of 72, Gamecube version, a score of 62, and the XBOX version, a score of 59. This is just stupidity! They haven't even looked CAREFULLY at each version of the games! That is just an idiot move!
