    How’s the drag on these compared to the dual drags of the Accurate? I’ve had some good fights on my accurate with 80# line. That dual drag system is smooth for the big tuna runs.

    • @karlkobler218
      @karlkobler218 7 месяцев назад

      Better than Accurate. The Valiants are a light framed reel, they’re not known to hold up with heavy drag with big tuna. Saltiga’s are.

    • @patrickkelly8095
      @patrickkelly8095 7 месяцев назад

      @@karlkobler218thank you for your feedback. I wasn’t speaking of the valiant line, but that’s good to know about it. I was asking about the drag feel. The double drag disc, one on each side of the spool. Makes for a super super smooth drag with absolutely no bind up or jerking of the reel when line is getting spooled against the drag.

    • @karlkobler218
      @karlkobler218 7 месяцев назад

      @@patrickkelly8095 The Saltiga is crazy smooth too. IMO that was revolutionary when Accurate came out with the dual drag, but technology has caught up and I havnt noticed a difference between the Accurates, Okuma Alijos and Saltiga in terms of drag.

I need a left handed one but don’t know what to get, Mainly fish from 150 -400 but soon going out deeper? Any info helps but I’ll be calling ya soon also. Love the channel and jigs

      This reel slays. I’ve had one paired with my power 3 palmarius and it’s nasty. But friends all want to laugh pointing at how light that tackle combo looks until they see me pulling up huge mutton and groupers in from 200-400 foot. I’ve even brought up nurse sharks over 12 feet long and a concrete block from 250+. Don’t even know how that happens but this reel winches that thing up.
