When you chose $25 as the sponsorship fee... Was that CPM? Or the total price you charged for the episode? And if it was CPM.. Is the a cap or time limit to the CPM? Or do they pay out on that episode over the year or multiple years?
The $25 shown is the video is a flat fee. Payment terms for CPM sponsorships are always negotiated up front, so you'll hash all of that out before you start incorporating sponsorships into your episodes
Something I can't seem to find an answer on... How do I set a fee/1000 downloads? I don't want to charge a $30 flat fee for an ad that's getting 5000 downloads.
Hey! There isn't a way to set a fee within Buzzsprout but do you mind emailing us at support@buzzsprout.com? We can help answer these questions for you and take a look at your account.
Hi Ken! Most companies that are in the podcast advertising space will negotiate based on a CPM model (cost per 1,000 downloads) and the industry standard is $20. So, that means a company will give you $20 for every 1,000 downloads that your episode receives. So a good example is if you get a podcast that gets 500 downloads per episode, then that company would probably give you around $10.
I cant seem to get it to work - not many opportunities and hard to connect with them - many do not respond at all.... very horrible dating site for podcasts
You guys are killing it. Reading my mind!
This is more info than I found on popcorns website. Thanks!
Our pleasure!
Does Podcorn or Buzzsprout keep a portion of our price?
Podcorn takes 10% when you get paid. Buzzsprout takes 0%
Is this also for Dutch podcast?
How can you tell what’s an appropriate amount to ask for?

does podcorn work outside the US? specifically in the MENA region
Hey Jana! We looked into this and could not find a definite answer. I would reach out to Podcorn directly to get the facts! support@podcorn.com
Does the money go straight to the buzzsprout account or can you choose external destinations like Paypal?
Hey Matt! The money will go to directly to you, through the process that the sponsor has. We use PayPal in the Affiliate Marketplace!
Do popcorn allows these sponsorship programs only for the podcast who host the buzzsprout ? and Another question is ,Is this available world -wide ?
Podcorn works with multiple podcast hosts, not just Buzzsprout. And yes, Podcorn is available worldwide
What steps I should follow to analytics get connected? I am facing this problem since last many days.
If you host your podcast with Buzzsprout, you can write into our support team at support@buzzsprout.com and we'll check into it for you
Cool Option for sponsorship, are there international options?
Does this work for older episodes that have already been published for a while or only new episodes? - might be a silly question.
Not a silly question! You'll typically pitch sponsors on upcoming episodes and not episodes that you've already published

how do i know what to set my fee as? and is the fee per add or is it per CPM?
You can ask for a lump sum covering a certain period of time (3 months for example) or by episode. Ask high and let them talk you down 😉
@@Buzzsprout i love you guys at buzzsprout - so helpful! thanks for your response and thanks for making such great content!
Ok so if they decide to sponsor you can you charge them every 1000 listeners ?

@@Buzzsprout oh ok cool can you negotiate more if the podcast is very popular?
@@Buzzsprout Hello! Out of curiosity, do you mean 1,000 downloads per week, month or 90 days?
Is the price per 1k plays? Looks terribly cheap.
$20 CPM is the industry standard for podcasting. RUclips AdSense is around $2-$4 by comparison
