Almost falling in love with this music.
John Barry gave breath to the Classic Bond era, oh how we need him back.
why can't Daniel Craig Bond movie intros be as good as this DVD intro?
The best Bond sountrack. Thanks John Barry!
HOW CAN ANYONE POSSIBLY DISLIKE THIS FILM?!
I'd never actually seen it before, but based on what the vast majority of people seem to say about it, I assumed it was a bit crap. However, I caught it on TV today, and now I'm just wondering how anyone could think it's anything other than one of the all-time best Bond films. Lazenby is much better than everyone makes out, there's some great action scenes, and Diana Rigg is undoubtedly the best Bond girl ever. If you haven't seen it, DO NOT MISS OUT.
Congratulations man!!! The best quality and my favorite 007's DVD menu
I just have to piggy back on what everyone else is saying. George Lazenby was by far one of the best to portray the 007 role. He had everything it took to replace such a big icon like Connery. He should have stayed with the role and did Diamonds Are Forever and then on. Lazenby could have been Connery's successor. I wonder how movies like LALD, TSWLM and Moonraker would have turned out being written with Lazenby's Bond. No Disrespect to Sir Roger Moore at all!
On Her Majesty's Secret Service was my ninth favorite Bond film of all time.
After Connery left the Bond series, the studio decided to cast a second Bond character which they selected an Aussie role model who can portray as a British spy in one movie. While audiences and critics alike didn't seem to enjoy Lazenby's performance, but this movie has more potential that it makes it incredible. Also, it has a good love story between Bond and Tracy were these two fell in love and they make each other so romantic. While the film focuses with the story where Bond must track down Blofled in this Blofled trilogy, it has some incredible moments like the fight scene in the beginning, skiing scenes were fun, the location of Piz Gloria with the breeze winter mountains is beautiful, and the action scenes were high pitch enjoyable. And that last scene where Bond lost her first wife was one of the most cliffhanger scenes that makes it very emotional and Bond lost her girl of his dreams that he's lost.
What the first?
I hope they will still do this disc menu effects with Craig, once he will be done...
I know this DVD edition menu set only goes up to Connery -Brosnan films.
@@lval05 and this is whats wrong. Well, actually, since next Craig's last Craig, it would be good if the whole Craig dvd collection features this for up to next one...
@@lval05 also Casino Royale
This is both my all time favourite and all time least favourite George Lazenby Bond film.
What's your favorite Lazenby movie? Mine's On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
FlareNetworkC I prefer Diamonds aren't forever

Mr. Yes
Clearweatherball
You will be missed Diana Rigg. R.I.P.
Absolutely love this film and George for that matter. I think that George was great in this movie, because he had only acted in a couple of commercials. I think he is very similar to Sean Connery when he first started Bond. Sean was just getting used to the role and by the third film Sean was Bond. So I would like to think that if George made more films he would have had enough experience to have his own take on Bond.
Feelings are nice and respectable but are not enough to be Lazenby the Bond that the movie needed. Maybe George was great if the movie was ''The Secret Agent and The Countess''. Is not similar to Sean Connery when he first started Bond mainly because the actor who plays Bond in O.H.M.S.S. must be mature and experienced. Look at the actors in the other roles. All experienced and professionals. We forget that the film was shot as in the book and Bond is an experienced man in the book as well as in the sixth film of the series.
The problem Lazenby had, and he has admitted such, is that the public relations stuff wasn't something he was really ready for. One reason Connery had stepped away from the role was the constant promotional touring and such, and for Lazenby it was really tough to jump right into that. I also agree Lazenby did fine work in this one.
Probably my favorite bond film after Thunderball.
the best movie from the collection
In a way On Her Majesty's Secret Service, For Your Eyes Only and License to Kill all make kind of an unofficial trilogy
I'd also argue that The World Is Not Enough makes it an unofficial quadrilogy
I'm feel the same, I watched it for the first time 3 months ago, it was absolutely amazing.
They're showing them all in order at 3pm every Saturday on ITV1, I only caught from The Man With The Golden Gun onwards. Luckily I got the DVD box set a few months before.
i a have to say at first i didn't like this movie but the more i watch it the more i respect it and its really good
Great!!!! ;)
Poor George,Never Got His Chance. But It's not his fault,The Advertisments howed a Faceless Bond,If they had done it like in You Only Live Twice (For Example: George Lazenby Is James Bond)Still a Wonderful film,Great Soundtrack And Great Bond Dianna Riggs.
This movie needed Sean Connery for an Oscar win.
Not one of my favorite 007 movies, but the theme song was one of the best.
If they used Connery for this movie everyone would regard it as their personal best.
I always thought the theme was superb & the Gunbarrel for OHMSS!!!
What I Ment To Say Was What A Great Bond Girl Dianna Riggs Was
this guy/gal is some major competition for Maurice Binder, IMHO. Terrific!
Lazanby wasn't as bad as I thought when I saw act
He wasn't half bad in the part : just a bit wooden when pulling certain lines in OHMSS. Had he done DAF & eventually one or two more, he would have outshone Moore & probably even Dalton.
Nice.
Telly Savalas FTW!
Yeah it would have been really tough for a non actor at the time like Lazenby to fill those shoes. It was stressful for Connery and I'm pretty sure Sean thought that at the time he could do no more with Bond. He had concerns with being type casted and I think Daniel Craig shares that thought. Even though Craig does other movies to set himself apart from such a defining role as Bond. I think Lazenby with more coaching would have been really good.
アメスピを吸いたいです。
hey has anyone noticed that the circle that blofeld is in from 0:36 to 0:41 is played backwards?
I thought Lazenby did a good job as 007.
UUUUUU yo tengo las otras peliculas del James Bond en inglés con subtítulos en español en DVD. Y tarde o temprano voy a tener las otras peliculas del 007 en DVD osea las que me faltan a mí.
I prefer the special edition menus
