- To find the best Arcane weapons in Elden Ring, I continued my new format for build guides where, by dropping myself a whole bunch of early smithing stones, allows me to show off more OP weapons and build set-ups than would normally be possible. If you’re on console, you could definitely try out 3/4 of these builds on NG with a little extra smithing stone grabbing.

Glad you are showing these weapons off. Marais Executioner Sword / Regalia of Eochaid is probably my favorite arcane build I have done, with Mohgwyn Sacred Spear being a definite second. Bloody Helice I struggled to use effectively but still managed to do all remembrances with it. Elenora's poleblade mixed with dragon incantations was a fun cosplay run. Rivers of Blood felt very cheesy as most bosses just die quickly from the bleed.
You can also get the pettal whip by killing the hosllow guy from roundtable hold when he's in Liurnia, or by finishing his questline. Dual pettal whips are my favorite build.

For the Vulgar Militia Saw: best place to farm it is in Liurnia, near a catacomb on the eastern shore, opposite the Purified Ruins. There's six of those guys, and I think four of them have the saw. Plus, they have a lot less health and it's not as risky. Drop rate is equally garbage though, which is a shame, because it's a pretty good weapon.

If anyone wants to get Marais Executioners sword early, I suggest to do the setup guide and level up a straightsword to +12. Then square off R2 twice to stun and take reposte. This only takes landing it 3 times i think.
I tried a few other setups and he handed me my hat alot. this was practically free.
Holy Shit that worked! I've been trying to figure out a way to get that sword early for a bit and your method worked wonders. I always forget how good Square Off is for poise breaks. Thank you!

Iv only been playing elden ring a few weeks and just when i think i found everything i could want, 20 more things pop up i want.
I dont know if you can get every weapon and every Talisman in the first playthrough or not, but I'm trying my best to do that hahaha !

Just off the top of my head I know for a fact you can’t do all talismans cuz you either complete Millicent quest for rotten wing sword insignia or you kill her for Millicent prosthesis
You can actyally get hoslows whip before you even fight margit, and ypu could even get a second one if you do this.
If you go to liurna begore you go to the roundtable you can find diallos next to his maidens body, if ypu kill him there he drops a petal whip along side his helmet which is like the hoslow helmet without the horns. Your still able to get the second one from the volcano manor quest aswell
I think you find Diallos in that spot even if you talk to him at the roundtable first. Does that change whether you can kill him or not though?

@@TSpoon823 i havent looked into it but you probbaly dont see him after he goes to the roundtable, seems their has never been many examples of fromsoft npc showing up in multiple places at one?
@@ryanhickson6399 so I've always met him first in the roundtable hold at some point around Margit. He mentions his servant girl. Then once I make it to Liurnia, I run into him in the town. I've never tried to kill him there though.
You can also talk to him one more time at the Hold before he goes to Volcano Manor.
@@ryanhickson6399 He’ll be in Liurnia even I you go to Roundtable first. His dialog in Roundtable is asking you if you’ve seen the girl. You can go to the spot afterward and he’ll be there.

a few things, the Albunaric weapons and Varre's Boquet are buffable and they scale with arcane so the greases themselves get increased buildups so you could for example use a sleep grease against a boss or enemy that is vulnerable to it or just use bleed grease for even more buildup i believe it works on Bleed, Sleep and Poison grease however i dont think it works for Rot or Frost grease.
As for the Curved Swords if you are gonna use a bleed infusion you are probably better off with 2 Bandits Curved Swords but if you wanna use Occult you should go for Scavengers because you get the same buildup with a bleed infusion so the innate bleed gets wasted and innate bleed weapons tend to be balanced around having a little less damage to make up for the buildup.
Hoping there’s a faith equivalent for this because I’d love to see what you do in that after seeing the first two

10:22 I was one of the people who commented on the "Blue Loretta" being patched. In my experience (playing on PS5) each time I've done this on patch 1.10, it has ported me outside of the fog gate (out of the arena). I'm glad to see that it still works for others. It's not 'that' hard of a boss for me, so I won't complain.
EDIT: I tried this again.. and it WORKED!

Ripple crescent halberd is incredible in pvp due to it's high sleep buildup with sleep grease and great roll catch running r1.
Also you can get the petal whip early by killing diallos in the academy town

If you are a guy like me who looks for arcane weapon for arcane + faith spell blade playthrough, do not dismiss the regalia of eochaid for the Maria's, because the smaller sword actually has better scaling in arcane, basically - Regalia for arcane + faith build still allows you to do up to 3 to 4 k damage per one ash of war use without investing in strength or dex above requirements. if you want to fully embrace the ash of war - the maria's is a better choice.

I was debating whether I should go Moonveil plus Carian sorceries or A dual twinblades/curved swords bleed arcane build for an "All Remembrances Solo Speedrun of Elden ring". Guess this video will clear that up if I find a fun arcane build in it.
It depends what rules you are setting yourself and how fast you want to go, but neither of those would be ideal for a speedrun. If you wanted to go for an INT speedrun the Death's Poker would be far faster, and strength (serpent hunter/iron balls) or dex (bloodhounds fang) builds both give you much faster routes than Arcane does (assuming you're talking about a NG speedrun). @@ThingfishyGaming That part about the rules is correct. I don't like death's poker. Already beaten it with the balls, lol. I just wanted to see how fast I could beat the game normally with something I hadn't tried before and proper arcane build is one of them. It's more personal fun and less of a challenge run.

Another great one is the forked great sword farmed at the roads end catacomb, I was getting almost 150 bleed buildup without even being maxed out on arcane, pretty rare but worth it drop

Hey, just a heads up about the Albinuric weapons, they are both very useful for anything susceptible to status effect greases, such as bleed, poisin, rot and sleep due to the arcane scaling affecting the build up added by the grease. It is for this reason that they are extremely useful for not only keeping up high damage in pvp but also for frequently proccing status effects.
What about bloodflame blade on the halberd with a faith/arcane build? That should be pretty good too.
@@trajanpb I’m not sure bloodflame blades build up is increased by arcane on a seal or weapon. I don’t think it is due to its effect’s unique nature. Even so with around 20-30 arcane it’s probably better to just bleed grease it, if you’re using drawstring greases even better, get rot and poison procced then bleed grease for the rest of the fight. Although if you only have like 15 arcane bloodflame on a bleed innate weapon with a physical infusion would probably be better like bloodhounds fang flamberge or uchikatana

I agree with the grease for pure arcane build but faith/arcane gives you access to spells and bloodflame damage scales with faith, the bleed is a flat 40/2 sec no matter the arcane investment. So I meant purely for a caster/melee hybrid. Bloodhound fang would be better for faith/ Dex or strength but probably not arcane I think.
@@trajanpb the blood loss build up does not scale on bloosflame blade and the damage addition is neglect able once you consider resistances
@@Thereisnogreatersword I calculated 150 fire damage with dragon communion seal (335 incant scaling) not counting fire scorpion + fire cracked tear + any other buff (oil pot, flock talisman, alaxander shard, etc) multiplied by heavy MV or AOW might add more damage than we think 🤔
the ripple weapons really come into their own if you use greases. because the arcane scaling will increase the status buildup of the greases
varre's bouquet can also be buffed with grease in a similar way

dual cresent halbert with sleep grease is pvp is abslolutely crazy. Its best use is sleep
also you can get the pedal whip very early by killing diallos in Liurnia right at the beginning of the game ;)
Using Ripple blade with rotten wing sword insignia with its wild strikes makes it do immense damage. Not to mention you can use Blood Flame blade on it making it a viable weapon to use in an Arcane Caster/Melee build.
My favorite arcane build is similar to the bandit sword build, but with dual twin blades instead. The jumping L1 is fookin ridic at bleed procs.
the marais executioner sword is one of my favorite weapons. so silly. i like pairing it with rotten wing sword insignia and millicent's prosthesis.

I know its late, but the halberd is great for the fact that greases used on it ALSO gain the arcane scaling. Meaning super fast sleep & bleed procs

@ReadyF0RHeady the ripple Cresent he talks about in this. It did just get a status nerf in pvp this patch when the dlc came out so idk how strong it might be in pvp still not. Regardless, still does the grease scaling
Great vid as always. Ripple Crescent Halberd with sleep grease is completely broken in PvP. Maybe not the best PvE weapon, but a towering monster of terror in PvP.
If you’re just after a single hoslow petal whip you can kill dialos in … learnia? The flooded lake. You find him grieving the friend he was looking for. Do it before you go to Altus or do any volcano manor stuff. And boom you got a hoslow petal whip before mountain tops
I pair it with the urumi in carion manor so I can dual weird whips but have an enjoyable heavy attack as well haha
i never got the night cavalry cheese to work like you do, cant get on that outer rim without getting hit or fall down. still just luring him outside off the bridge, jump back on it over the tree or rock depending on which side of the gorge...like a charm

Does O'Neill's banner AoW stack with Flame Grant Me Strength? I thought since they were both body buffs that they cancelled out the first one applied.
Rallying standard is an Aura buff, so it’s a better version of Golden Vow but without damage negation. FGMS and How of Shabriri are the body buffs and either will stack with it. Thanks for watching, Mr!
I don't know what it is with my luck, but whenever I try to make the night calvary jump off, he either does the low sweep, or he bugs when he goes jump over the side and he doesn't die.
My favorite pve setup will forever be blood peeler + bloody slash, paired with Millicent's Prosthesis and Winged Insignia and Lord of Blood's Exultation.
Couple running R2s raise your damage through the roof and also bleed the enemy, at which point your Bloody Slash is a nuke.
The first time I "first phased" Mohg was like this. Not to mention Bloody Slash is pure dopamine rush.
Most importantly, you can give the lord of all that’s golden a proper full body burial without a frigging hand detached. On your second play through
The godskin peeler is the best twinblade easily that running R2 is beautiful and on my dex/arc build I proc bleed in 1 R2, then combo it into piercing fang or spinning slash for roll catch. Devastating damage, sadly the Poleblade isn’t as good in PvP as it is in PvE
Wait, where is bloody helice? Did I miss it or was it not in the video? That's arguably my favorite weapon in this game.

the rippled halberd is best used with sleep grease and I think at that its the best in the game but obviously very situational
10:55 no greases, no bloodflame. Even covered then for the halberd version. It's got a mid moveset at best, but that aow mixed with bloodflame would be good bleed. Or sleep grease for pvp and godskin.
Why do you start as a bandit since you don't level up mind and int? Shouldn't Hero be better?

Quick question though: The Greyoll rune farming method still hasn't been patched but I haven't seen you recommend that. Is it because that would make the game too easy?
I never include farming Greyoll as, if someone's on console, and they miss the grace by a second, they'd have to start a new character in order to be the same level as me, which would be annoying I think. Killing him once is enough to hit the requirements for pretty much every weapon in the game, so it's not really necessary either.

Quick question, how to you get that increased gamma/contrast look? My game tends to look rather flat and muted. Is it done in post or in game?
its ReShade, a mod that can work with Elden Ring and not affect online gameplay or triggering the anti-cheat since its just visuals. Theres even a specific ReShade mod called Volition that has a cinematic or vivid setting that does this really well.

Reminder that an arcane build is perfect for the new content in the DLC since arcane boosts drop rates.
That means more fun new weapon drops and less farming!
edit: also, the ripple crescent halberd is nutty with bloodflame blade and flame grant me strength because the fire damage makes up for it's relative weakness while the bleed from bloodflame blade is just... incredible.

I will say you can get the petal whip almost immediately. Its my go to weapon for a lot of runs ive done
But if you just head to Liurnia of the lakes you can find the younger Hoslow and just slap his shit around for it

The best use for it is sleep. Put the sleep grease on the halberd. Four hits during invasion. I think

It's a Somber weapon. They max out at +10 from Somber smithing stones. They're the special weapons with unique ash of wars.
I really enjoyed an arcane build with dual antspurs I could one blood.
Crescent Ripple Blade looks way too good to be that blasé.
