The aperture changes depending on distance. f8 at infinity and it closes down when gets closer. That's how it was to do it when the flash/flashbulb is a constant power.

You are kidding right? 4:00 SX70 means 70 ISO, and 4:03 it shows right there ASA 160. Also Mint Bar 2 use 2.5mm not 3.5mm.

Yeah, and no matter what cord I have tried, I can't get it to work with Pocket Wizard :/ Do you know if the test fire send the signal to the sync cable? Mint doesn't seem to keen on getting back to me.

wondering if anyone has successfully used a pocket wizard trigger with the flash bar. does anyone have recommendations for tripod mount if sx70 does not have tripod mount hole? thanks for sharing info Kenny camera.

as mentioned below...the SX-70 goes into "flash priority mode" and starts stopping down dramatically based on focus distance. This is becuz the Blue Dot Flashbar was VERY bright... there are charts showing the settings at various distances. google it.

Claims that flashbars tend to die over time and shows a clearly spent/burnt flashbar. How stupid can one be?
