When Jen said "the steak and eggs were Bonnie's idea" immediately after hearing Gordon's critique, it really irritated me. She acts as though she didn't have a choice to disagree with Bonnie's idea... She had the opportunity to create her own ideas for a dish, but she chose to go with Bonnie's idea and blame her afterward when it didn't live up to Gordon's expectations. If Jen felt that the dish was not going to be adequate for the test then she really should of gone with a different idea of her own. It sounds like she just doesn't want to take the responsibility for presenting a poorly structured dish. Although I haven't seen this episode in full so there might be more to it than this video depicts.
She even said afterward she wished she would've stood up for herself and make a different dish... sometimes things just go like that. She didn't want to be confrontational, but in the end, it cost them the win.
I also feel like she could have executed the steaks and eggs idea better. It‘s a simple concept but if you‘re a creative chef, you can elevate that to a fine dining level. To me it just shows that she’s both unassertive and uncreative

Small spoiler for Season 3
I actually watched this season and when Julia had left, Gordon Ramsay gave her free education in culinary school because she didn’t go there!
I was really proud because she got really far without that much experience
She definitely deserved it. She has potential and a good attitude.
Sorry but just watch the very last episode of season 3. It completely changed my opinion towards Julia
We really dont know if she actually took up gordon's offer to go to culinary school. And as much as i loved her in the show, her attitude in the finale was so shit
B. But that kind of attitude at the last season is pretty shitty, she literally said that she wanted rock to win and you can clearly see that she slightly sabotage bonnie’s game plan
u honorable gentlemen just warned us about a spoiler and use the read more section to tell it. You gentlemen is a man everybody should look up to.

I can't be the only one who adored the hell out of Bonnie. She won my heart.
Everytime I watch Aaron in any clip of Hell's Kitchen, I feel sad, bad, and grieved.
Everytime I see a clip from season 3 I'm reminded of a big revelation on Rock's character: vs Bonnie in finale, after they did their H2H service, Ramsey asked him what he would have done differently. Rock said he'd have won the menu challenge so he could have the first pick and taken Jen. That's not something most , if anyone, would have said. Rock's still my favorite winner all-time. He's a rock in the kitchen
5:37 Lol the subtitles say "Yeah kiddo" when Gordon Ramsay was talking to the short guy! 😂
“I felt my dish was superior”
Dude I can feel your ego from the phone screen
0:56- I've made steak and eggs at home and I've been to diners that serve steak and eggs. And none of them look as gross and unappetizing as that.
Eggs look sloppy, tomatoes look like they were stepped on and the steak bits just look like scraps from a week old BBQ and idk if that's egg yolk on the side or a sauce, but that's just nasty.
And what sucks is that with a little extra care, those ingridients could've been elevated to something magical.
I would've cooked a single fillet med-rare with seasoning, make a brushetta with the tomatoes and layer on top of the steak and on top of that, a perfectly poached egg with a little salt and pepper.
Voila. A simple steak and eggs made exquisite.
Bruschetta on top of steak? With an egg on top of that? Too much mushy texture. Additionally, bruschetta generally goes on top of a crostini of sorts.
Nobody asked you

Rock is my favorite male contestant from Hell’s Kitchen , he’s a pro and he kept the job after 1 year proving he’s the real deal in the restaurant biz
Aww, Bonnie is so sweet. In the first clip and when she tries to help Joanna
I think the communication and calmness on red kitchen made them do well. Even though one chef forgot the lettuce, the other chef is still calm and trying to assure that it's okay
Bonnie is so so so sweet and innocent 😍😍😍. Every time she got upset i felt bad, you just want to make her stronger give her a hug and motivate that little girl.
It drives me nuts that there's always at least one chef who tries to say that their dish was far superior to their competitor's dish when they *never* *even* *tried* *the* *other* *dish.* Some food looks like garbage but tastes great-- you can't always tell just by looking at it.
Ramsay says: *"I've never seen [something] in all my life!"* At least once per day.

I don't think I'd have the balls to make fish and chips for a British person of Ramsay's calibre. Not only because it's 'just a take away meal' but also because Gordon is British and you'd need to have a pretty massive pair of stones to make fish and chips for a British person of his calibre. Making one of his country's signature dishes and serving it to him is basically like saying: 'This is what I think of your country.' and if it's not done perfectly right, it's basically like you're insulting not only him but his nationality as well.
Or am I reading too much into that?

We call that a lack of respect and intolerably misplaced sense of pride. Head chef makes a verdict and you're just like" I disagree".
0:07 watch at her reaction. She says "I just wanted to take my little dish and slither away." 0:18 Gordon says "a lot of work went into that dish." 0:27 Bonnie stumbles over the dish name and her expression says the rest.
