You could tell gordon was testing her and seeing if she could carry them. He knew early on she had winner potential. You can always tell who gordon thinks has the chops early on. There's certain people he's either testing to see if they really are shit or he piles on responsibility onto one person to see if they have what it takes.

Heather was like a super hero her season. Flying around the kitchen cooking the meat and the garnish. She didn't complain or whine she just plowed through. She burned her hand and had to go to the hospital and she's giving information and instruction before she left.
She’s prob my favorite contestant of all time

You can put a lid on it or throw something like powder (flour, pancake mix, etc). A fire needs 3 things to burn, heat, oxygen, and fuel. Covering/smothering will take away the oxygen. Ditto for most powder extinguishers. However a CO2 extinguisher works bu removing the oxygen and the heat.
Whatever you do, never pour water on a grease fire!

Petrozza was one of those guys who could destroy you over time with the skills you taught him...he got better and better with each service and always found a way out no matter how ridiculous or hopeless the situation was

Midnyte Vega he was a good guy. But there was a moment when he went back to his roots of inexperience when he cut the ends off a wellington to make it look rare. It passed but you could see that the Wellington was thinner than usual and looked tough. I was a little disappointed ngl because he decided to be sneaky rather than give his 110% and make another one. He was always a team player though. RIP

If there's one chef Gordon absolutely respected and relied on getting service on track, it's 100% Heather. Watching her run around, she is really a hard-working chef. Sterling wins my heart though it's hard to beat him

As someone who's been a line cook and supervisor for years .... I gotta say ... That's all of us when we clock out. Either cheap microwavable shit or take home dead in the window food. We also chase it with gallons of alcohol.

No. 3. Heather (season 2). She was so consistent and she carried that red team until she was taken to the blue--that's where Heather shined on that blue team.
