Coming from Consol gaming to this being my first handheld PC-based gaming device. You mentioned the Xbox cloud-based app running through Lenovo legion space having all kinds of issues. Can I simply run the Xbox app by itself straight from the windows desktop?
I'm curious if Lenovo will eventually ship a variant with more memory, I'm also curious who is going to mod the device for more memory first. Though we'll probably have to wait for a v2 in a year or two for this. I like the idea of the right controller, but I don't like the implementation, it should be a cohesive controller no matter which mode, not a 'turn the controller 90° and lose most of the functionality' solution. Imagine if the mouse sensor was just on the bottom with no change in grip, where all of the controller functionality was still available, all of the M buttons could also be redistributed into Y buttons where you could instead have three Y buttons per side; if you don't like the idea of six back buttons, the concept of what Razer (and other third parties, Flydigi has done it before, not sure who else has) does with extra shoulder buttons is a nice idea, having buttons on the inside of the shoulders, I just wish someone would find a more proper implementation of them to where they're lateral buttons rather than depressing into the body of the device. it just feels like someone at Lenovo wanted a mouse, so they got the hardware team to slap something together, and that solution becomes a controller OR mouse in one body solution rather than controller AND mouse. And I get it, the molding and aesthetics of the device don't really allow for an AND solution, but I wish they just put a bit more effort into doing it this way so that there wasn't any compromise; this kind of solution could also lead to symmetric controllers which also means a left handed mouse option, or dual mice rather than dual stick and just relegate the sticks to some tertiary function. My understanding is that RSR can be left always on and only activates if you lower the display resolution to anything below native (so RSR is always off at native resolution and only activates to upscale a lower resolution to look closer to native but with better performance). If a specific game has FSR, just use that and leave it at native resolution, which should mean RSR automatically stays off / FSR supercedes it. This was my experience on the Steam Deck and Ally. I'm not entirely sure what happens if you turn on FSR AND lower the display resolution, but in a game that has FSR, I usually would recommend just dropping all the way to ultra performance mode if needed over messing with the display resolution at all, since it will provide a better picture and better performance in most cases. TLDR: if the game has FSR, use that and leave the resolution at native. If it doesn't but you still need more performance, lower the resolution and RSR will activate automatically if turned on in Legion Space or the AMD software.

I'm hesitating between Windows, Linux or Android device. I would like mainly playing emulated games until Nintendo Switch. There is no device till now that can run the latest zelda totk at 60fps. I'll wait til Snap dragen gen 8 3rd generation will come out and will make my decision. Any advises are welcome
does the steam app work well with the controlls?
how do you put emulation on and where to get games pls ?
So do you have to download games to the device if I want to play ps5 games? And I have to be on WiFi? Like can I play this on the go?
you can play it on the go
What happened to the t's in button?
If i get something like this for Christmas, im immediately booting it from my revios 10 usb, i hate bloatware.
Am going to get it I already have a steam but I need this
Step 2: Take it or send it to a repair shop to give it a 32GB RAM upgrade like some have done to the steam deck. 32GB of RAM would allow you to keep it at 8GB all of the time 🤷
I'm willing to bet it's only a matter of time before someone releases a modded BIOS to allow that.
umm i believe that the system memory and storage memory are separate.
@@marchufnagel9068 indeed they are different things. I'm talking about RAM. People have desoldered the RAM modules in the steam deck and replaced them with larger capacity modules. Replacing a M.2 SSD is ez stuff. Replacing BGA memory requires skill (that I don't have, but would love to do some day)
@@travisholt92 That would take some skill to up the system memory.
@@marchufnagel9068 There are board-level repair shops that can handle that mod, as mentioned.
Sorry how you change rgb colors to giostick in which settings you go?
Mhm I clicked "Start Fresh" and it still downloaded a back-up from several years ago...
Can you review a lenovo glasses?
I will if/when I get my hands on them.
Before release i heard it features battery bypass so when plugged in it runs off of ac preserving the battery but asking around i cant find this answer i want to get one and my intended use is long game sessions for travel roadtrips and visiting inlaws i want make sure i dont ruin the battery by keeping it plugged in all the time.
Yes, there is an option in the BIOS to disable the internal battery.
Okay, but how do I pull up the keyboard?
How do you remap the buttons?
Do you think No-VRR is a deal breaker?
nah
i was supprised myself with no bloatware apps, lol. micro gotten worse. you can disable secure boot by going to bios. what about linux? can you do a tutorial on it?
RSR turns itself off as soon as I exit that menu. Any advice?
Im stuck trying to figure out how to get the controller to be recognized in non-steam/xbox games
Make sure steam is closed, and the lenovo legion Go settings is closed also.
The infamous LEG box lol
This is the one... although steam deck has the absolute best control configuration and two track pads
Do you need to have a PC to play on the Lenovo Legion go ?
No it's full on pc, it's not ps portal
hello ! can someone explains me how does RSR works with FSR ? Is it incompatible ? ty
I hope this is the beginning of all videogame controllers having a mouse wheel.
I've wanted a mouse wheel on the Xbox controller ever since I first saw the thing.
"Hey, it's a console made by Microsoft... Why don't consoles have a mouse wheel?"
This is why you play on an Xbox
The other day the toggles on my Lenovo legion go flashed red (instead of green) and I remember I was holding it awkwardly and it may have been because of me accidentally holding tje volume and power button(I don’t know) help?!?!😊
Hi can you test Sonic Frontiers Steam? I have my Lenovo Legion Go, all my games work except Sonic Frontiers any advice?

Am I the only one who thinks that Lenovo should sell that right controller that can enable fps mode with any computer?🤔
Watching this vid on my steam deck
waiting happily on steam deck 2 even if it takes 2-3years I dont care. but if Steam makes an official steamOS on different device I might get the legion Go.
Can i run games from epic store and steam store on this device?
Yes
So is it only streaming the games only or can I download the game and play it anywhere I want
Can i put a egpu on it??? Plz answer
yeah if you get a dock
this is global version or official? or wait lenovo legion go 2?
How to setup for gaming: Wait until Lenovo fixes Legion Space. End of Video.
Copped one today off eBay 1TB for £390
Would i be able to play rust on this
Can you tell us if this machine could replace a laptop?
Depends on what you’re looking for. If you want something even more portable and smaller than a laptop and you use it for gaming a lot then this is good.
It certainly can but a lappy is much more convienient
But is there ram slots if so can we upgrade the ram ?
That is a pet peeve of mine as well...
