Me too! I smiled my way to the nearest Mazda dealer and came home with a Snowflake Pearl/Parchment Mazda6 Signature last night. I've been looking at cars for over a month. Test drove a 2017 BMW 330i, a 2018 Lexus ES350 and a '19 Accord Touring BUT the Mazda6 pushed all the right buttons for me. From its nearly silent interior that looks absolutely amazing in the (almost white) Nappa leather, the firm yet comfortable ride, the amazing seat comfort and the Bose audio that rivals the Mark Levinson system I've had in previous Lexus vehicles...this car is a home run for Mazda. Lexus luxury, BMW handling at an Accord price (actually about $1200 less!). The best bang for your buck IMO!
Agreed. Although this exterior side view is very disappointing. Makes the car look shorter and rounded when in fact the car is longer and more sleek looking. Bad camera angle for sure.

Amazing quality car with such an amazing price!

Great video. As an owner of a 2014 Mazda6 (91k miles), I can't believe that 4 years later it still looks better than its competitors. Sad for Honda and Toyota designers. But even sadder that no one buys Mazda.
I just bout a 2019 Mazda6 Grand Touring Reserve on 1/17/2020. Let me say i'm completely in love with the Power, Drive Control and Luxury feel from this car. It is absolutely underrated and truly an amazing car. This car is truly one of a kind and i recommend ANYONE to test drive the Mazda6 i can almost best you will walk away with one. Honda Accord 6MT, with the interior, with Android Auto/Carplay, better MPG, rear legroom, cargo space than Mazda. Honda Accord is a great daily driver.
You were one of the first if not the first to review the US model 2018 Mazda 6, and now the first to compare it to the Accord and the Camry. Appreciate the effort and your honest comparative analysis. Subscribed. Can you please compare it to the Kia Optima SXL? It has a similar price tag, 2.0 turbo engine and a lot of similar feature set (360* camera, nappa leather seats, memory seats, heated ventilated front seats, minus the head up display, plus pano sunroof)? It would be nice to see more such comparisons in the future. Thanks
Brotha this was an awesome review! You beat much more well known journalist & car reviewers to a review of cars many Americans consider or buy. My hats off to you! Keep up the great work and you have 1 more subscriber time now.
Thank you for doing this detailed review. I was stuck between getting the Honda Accord Touring or the Camry but thanks to your video now I know which one suits my needs more. Excellent reviewer!
Nice review. The HUD up and down button is to raise the display on the windshield up or down to accommodate driver height and sightlines. My Black 2018 Touring 2.0T is a dream to drive.
I just got a Mazda 6 Signature and have had it for 3 weeks. The reviewer is spot on with many of his critiques. I traded in a 2014 BMW 228i for the Mazda, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The exterior and interior is gorgeous, and the quality of the leather, suede, chrome and wood is very nice. The Bose sound system is much better than the Harmon Kardon system in my previous BMW. The back up, side and front camera is very low resolution and is a definite minus, but it does work well enough to get the job done. The Honda does have the best infotainment system of the three, and Mazda does need to update their system. I do like the Pandora and Stitcher app integration, and the navigation system is pretty good. It does not have live traffic which is also minus. I am supposed to get a free Android Auto update in July, so hopefully it will be a moot point soon. It took me a while to adjust from a 2 door coupe to this sedan, but I am in love with the handling dynamics and comfort of the car. The main reason I traded in the 228i was constantly having to replace the run flat tires and the ride quality on the crappy city streets in Memphis. The Mazda accelerates great and the overall cabin feel when driving the car is extremely comfortable. I love all the safety features that come with a Mazda. I am not getting the advertised 23 mpg with a combination of highway and city driving with an average of 21 mpg so far. Overall, a great car and excellent value.
You should have real time traffic as Mazda brought it back last year. It is not obvious until NAV gives you a re-route suggestion in the middle of your trip, or you notice from day-to-day that it sometimes changes the route to the same destination, depending on the time of day. Gas mileage should improve 2-3 mpg as you put on a few miles. If you want to high-mleage it, set the infotainment screen to display mileage data whenever you turn off the car; set the dash info screen to show real-time gas mileage. From that data you can figure out how to maximize gas mileage for the driving that you do.
Thanks- I do see in the navigation system an option to view historical traffic patterns, but I read somewhere it was not integrated for your trip or made changes based on live traffic. I am glad to hear that it adjusts in real time and reroutes your trip. I plan to use Android Auto once that becomes an option, but it is nice to know the Mazda navigation system adjusts itself.
I am considering trading in my 17 cts luxury awd for it! The quality of the cadillac sucks! Not even mine, i had complementary cars for weeks including the ct6 and they all had rattles and noises! This mazda6 with signature blew me away!
I’m a Honda man all day, but that Mazda 6 is really making me think. The standard rear USB is a selling point. I hate that the Accord makes it an option. However, I don’t like having to push a button to get into the 6.
I have a 2014 Mazda 3 S Grand Touring. It has the button on the handle and it really not much different than the sensors on the other cars. Grab the handle and push the button with your thumb, open the door. Doesn't take any longer. I love my car and if I could afford the new 6, I would have it in a heartbeat. Have a great one:)
Haha I’m shopping the 24-25k price range. At that range the Camry SE does not even have push start button meaning you need to insert key and twist it. It’s also missing quite a few features such as blindspot monitoring. Mazda 6 Touring is a very good buy for the money in my opinion.
I am forever a Honda Fan, and have thought the '18 accord is best designed yet, but surprisingly, the older Mazda 6, has aged well, it still looks fresh from all of its angles. Great review, look forward to more.
I own a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 manual. It is such a great car. Plenty of power and overall it offers a lot of amenities. One thing to point out is you can change the top chrome trim on the front bumper to a black trim offered from Honda accessories. Also, you can set your car to lock when you walk away about 5 feet way from the car. No need to press the lock button on your remote or on the door handle. Pretty convenient overall.
Camry is most reliable with a natural aspirated n/a v6. Mazda is the nicest interior wise and handles the best. Honda is split down the line between the two
Sweetheartbabez In the Arabian Gulf Mazda 6 is seen pretty much everywhere, it’s loved by everyone. The Camry and the Accord are seen too but not as much as the Mazda
Man the mazda 6 looks like its a great cruiser and very simple and clean and you can use regular gas if youre always in traffic and if you want some fun add the premium gas for that little bump in hp great value
very nice, thorough review. Need to watch part 2. I have to say...at this point I really like the new Mazda 6 Signature. That seems to be the best overall from looks and interior quality, but would imagine you cannot go wrong with any of these 3 cars; all great options.
Wow! Incredible 3 way comparison review, Forrest! You did an absolutely incredible job displaying the features of these midsize sedans! Honestly, nowadays its very difficult to purchase a bad car... It's just a matter of which one is the best for the shoppers needs. I can't wait to start doing some more comparison reviews, as well. From one car enthusiast to another, keep up the great work!
I actually just bought my mazda 6 signature, and it is amazing the car is gorgeous its ride quality is soo good, the interior is luxurious and its so comfortable, to be honest better than any sedan in the market. Just forget about the camry and accord, this is the king of sedans right here To any one wanting to buy this car so ahead and buy it right away, it will not disappoint.
Mazda 6 owner here so I’m biased but in my opinion it is the best handling car for an affordable price, it handles as well as a bmw but for much much cheaper. It is down on power but I love the mpg.
Wow! Well done bud! A great comparison review. I love the Mazda but in Canada we don’t have as many dealerships as say Honda or Toyota. As a result... Honda Accord for me. 😍👌🏻😎
Darryl Kremer I hear you , with the only japan build car here Mazda6 you will not have to visit your dealer often and even than drive to a dealer will be the most fun and luxurious here...
I'm a Mazda fan and I'm surprised and happy upon reading most of the comments down here that Mazda has the most interesting and positive comments, this is due probably to the new interior and turbo engine....Yes, it has the best quality and clean interior design aside from being the best in handling and fun to drive...
maurice benton people do buy them just not here in the US look at there sales outside of the country especially in Europe and Australia they sell like hot cakes
Bought my 18 Mazda6 GT Diesel and I could not be happier. Built / Ride quality and fuel economy is absolutely impressive. I would pick current gen Mazda 6 any day of the week over Camry.
I drove all three and they'll all pretty good. I wanted the Camry but my local Toyota dealer made that impossible. I wanted the XSE, but they only stock the SE and wouldn't order an XSE. I chose the Accord EX-L and have not regretted it.
This video was REALLY good. I like the Honda accord because it has a REALLY good amount of room. The fake wood was REALLY nice. And the infotainment system was REALLY responsive and REALLY well done.
Camry is like a crumpled piece of paper trying to hard to look cool but sorry Camry 'cool is not in your DNA'. Honda Accord has an ugly front and uninspiring design. Mazda has timeless elegance.
Started watching this video and quickly recognized presenter’s biases. Camry also changes display from green to red when switched from eco to sport mode. Hope you keep your biases aside when reviewing cars in the future.
Honda in my opinion did a better job with their design inside and out. They don’t need gimmicks and overly designed cars they made it look timeless and grown up # Accord and secondly Mazda did a amazing job with the outside of the car hit in person it’s just okay when you see it close it. Toyota did way to much snd everything still looks cheap inside
Great job on the review. I agree 100% with your analysis of the exterior of the camry. I hate that front eagle looking section of the car, but the back is beautiful and the tires are nice.
Incredible work, Forrest! I appreciate the effort that you have put into making this video. Thank you. It's remarkable how far mainstream brands have come.
Kelcy Boston can't go wrong. Was undecided on the Camry XSE or Honda sport 2.0. Ultimately it came down to price and technology which I felt Honda was superior.
maurice benton Mazda 6 is the most balanced and beautiful exterior with a great engine. But the interior tachometer and infotainment system didnt convince me.
i enjoyed my 09 mazda6 for so many years, now it s time to upgrade i guess.hopefully by the end of the year i ll be sitting in the drivers seat of this really gorgeous mazda 6 shown here. great videso by the way keep it up bro
Great review! Kudos to you that reviewed the top of the line trim level instead of the mid-level. Many car journalists like to review the mid-range trim, which I think it is not enough to present the car's features and highlights.
I hope Mazda does not have too many issues with their turbo engines. I just browsed through Consumer Reports yesterday and while engine reliability has been their strong suit for some time now, their 2016 CX-9 engine reliability was not too impressive and one can only assume its because of turbos....
Something worth noting about the Honda is that not having a shift knob opens that center compartment up a great deal. We've all had to try to squeeze a giant cellphone by the shift knob especially when in the Park position.
A very thorough review of features and specs. I noticed your referred to all metallic-look trim pieces as chrome. Some, if not most of them look to have a brushed aluminum look. For me as a buyer, it's important to make that distinction as chrome is starting to be phased out in favor of the look of aluminum and even real brushed aluminum, for example, in GMC Sierra trucks as a more upscale detail over aluminum-look place in Chevy Silverado trucks. Waiting for part 2 !
Great Review! Can't wait for part 2. Why oh why Toyota do you give us less and charge more? No ventilated seats, no heated steering wheel, no Car Play/Android auto, no heated rear seats. That V6 better be damn good!
Excellent work If you would invest in some wind suppression microphone, it would greatly improve the quality of your video. Your speech is clear and I really like the flow. For I moment I thought it was Childish Gambino/Danny G presenting. Lol Keep up the great work !!

They are all winners.
very nice, thorough review.
Dude you are killing it, keep those reviews coming!
FINALLY... I am sure you are the first one to do this comparison. FINALLY!!!
I have a Mazda 6 GG 2007, no problems in 14 years, I drive and enjoy the car. I am in love with this car.
I actually just bought my mazda 6 signature, and it is amazing the car is gorgeous its ride quality is soo good, the interior is luxurious and its so comfortable, to be honest better than any sedan in the market. Just forget about the camry and accord, this is the king of sedans right here
To any one wanting to buy this car so ahead and buy it right away, it will not disappoint.
Is ur mazda still okay?
Forrest,
You did a very solid job in the reviewing of these (3) cars, keep up the great work !!
Honda Accord! turbo-ivtec 😇
Most anticipated review of 2018 👍
I'm a Mazda fan and I'm surprised and happy upon reading most of the comments down here that Mazda has the most interesting and positive comments, this is due probably to the new interior and turbo engine....Yes, it has the best quality and clean interior design aside from being the best in handling and fun to drive...
it doesn't have a geeky front and that's what I like about the accord as a person of age 26 and no kids no wifey
People praise the Mazda car and no one buys them. I dont understand. The 6 is leagues better than the camry
maurice benton people do buy them just not here in the US look at there sales outside of the country especially in Europe and Australia they sell like hot cakes
@@mbenton6 bcos camry is e most reliable car on earth.
@@comments7335 actually mazda as a brand is more reliable to Toyota. Try doing some research
Bought my 18 Mazda6 GT Diesel and I could not be happier. Built / Ride quality and fuel economy is absolutely impressive. I would pick current gen Mazda 6 any day of the week over Camry.
Honda Accord is best in these cars , space and other things
No it's not
@@crxracer805 maybe back seat and roof problem for sitting
@@rockychill92 Ok in backseat yes, more roomy all around and cargo and yes it's faster than the Camry.
@@rockychill92 wrong
I drove all three and they'll all pretty good. I wanted the Camry but my local Toyota dealer made that impossible. I wanted the XSE, but they only stock the SE and wouldn't order an XSE. I chose the Accord EX-L and have not regretted it.
You couldn't try a few other dealers for such a great car?
Hell, I'd drive to Houston or DC since they have the best car prices in the country.
This video was REALLY good. I like the Honda accord because it has a REALLY good amount of room. The fake wood was REALLY nice. And the infotainment system was REALLY responsive and REALLY well done.
Excellent review. I have a background in Automotive technology and design and your review is very well rounded. Looking forward to part 2!
The Mazda 6 and Camry's exterior is amazing
Kaiden camrys interior is shitty and cheap
Honda is way better!
Camry is like a crumpled piece of paper trying to hard to look cool but sorry Camry 'cool is not in your DNA'. Honda Accord has an ugly front and uninspiring design. Mazda has timeless elegance.
camry face👎/but the rest👍.
MUCH props for this. glad someone finally took the time to do this
The Accord exterior design reminds me of a platypus
Now I can’t unsee it!
😂😂😂 it's the ugly duckling of midsize sedans
freshout.today/2018-honda-accord-ugly-duckling/#comments
LuckyOoh10 😂😂😂😂. Which is kind of a shame because the interior is very nice.
Eleanor Massaro agreed. For such a nice, well thought out interior the exterior is terribly designed.
Big fat platypus
All three of these cars are exceptional. It's hard to make a choice. You did a very good review. Thanks
Didn't need to watch the video. Just saw Mazda 6 and claimed it the winner!
Zoom zoom!
Heck yea!!👍🏼👍🏼
Just got me a 2019 m6 2days ago traded in my m3 2017
Aye
Accord gang
Started watching this video and quickly recognized presenter’s biases. Camry also changes display from green to red when switched from eco to sport mode. Hope you keep your biases aside when reviewing cars in the future.
Mazda looks like a mom car, Camry looks like a sporty car,
Honda looks like a... Honda
HondaForLife
Honda in my opinion did a better job with their design inside and out. They don’t need gimmicks and overly designed cars they made it look timeless and grown up # Accord and secondly Mazda did a amazing job with the outside of the car hit in person it’s just okay when you see it close it. Toyota did way to much snd everything still looks cheap inside
Honda looks like a lesbians car
Great job on the review. I agree 100% with your analysis of the exterior of the camry. I hate that front eagle looking section of the car, but the back is beautiful and the tires are nice.
A very informative review you did. A suggestion, it would also be helpful commenting/comparing the sound quality of the audio systems.
Accord, always has, always will (only issue is the shift lever (or lack there of)
honda has the most futuristic design and motor thats why its little bit hard to except when compare to other 2.
Incredible work, Forrest! I appreciate the effort that you have put into making this video. Thank you.
It's remarkable how far mainstream brands have come.
i went with the accord 2.0! its perfect
Kelcy Boston I have the Honda accord sport 2.0. I love it
Kelcy Boston can't go wrong. Was undecided on the Camry XSE or Honda sport 2.0. Ultimately it came down to price and technology which I felt Honda was superior.
Carlos Martinezz Mazda 6 us better than both cars.. test drive all before buying... you people are crazy
maurice benton Mazda 6 is the most balanced and beautiful exterior with a great engine. But the interior tachometer and infotainment system didnt convince me.
😴
I’ve always liked Honda for a while now but that Mazda looks good!!! Also I subscribed I like your channel 👍🏼
I would go with the Accord. If you get the 2.0 you can easily tune it to over 300hp
The Camry already has 300hp ...
@@xxsilver_gamingxx389 and no turbo
twitch7771 Yeah but the Camry will out last the accord since it has no turbo 😉
Even with 300HP the Camry still Loses to the Accord. The Honda is faster.
i enjoyed my 09 mazda6 for so many years, now it s time to upgrade i guess.hopefully by the end of the year i ll be sitting in the drivers seat of this really gorgeous mazda 6 shown here. great videso by the way keep it up bro
Wow! This is a great review! You have my like and I'm subscribing! Can't wait for part 2!
I just got honda accord yesterday. It's the best!
I think Mazda6 wins, just seems like the more luxurious and fun car to have.
Best RUclips car review I've ever seen.
I got the Mazda 3 2018 Premium. Beautiful car!
Tim Dumoulin Me too! just got it yesterday
Tim Dumoulin enjoy it bro
Tim Dumoulin that would be Signature. I want one also
Tim Dumoulin how much out the door?
I am in Canada - the 2018 mazda 3 hatch with premium package was 34k and change including tax.
Great review, I have been looking for one like this, can’t wait for part 2. Go Mazda
Mazda it’s beautiful 😍
Great review! Kudos to you that reviewed the top of the line trim level instead of the mid-level. Many car journalists like to review the mid-range trim, which I think it is not enough to present the car's features and highlights.
2018 camry for the win
No one breaks it down like you. Thank you!
All 3 cars are Awesome! Period
I do enjoy this guy's work. Best wishes from the UK.👍
Mazda is the best!!
I really like the mazda6, but the accord is incredible!!
First like and comments. ❤❤❤
Mazda all the way. Let's go...
Huge thumbs up bro finally someone did this video
Accord 2.0 sport 6spd MT! Boom!
Nice job you deserve more suscribers.
For me
1)Mazda 6 more luxurious
2)honda accord
3)toyota camry
Great Review! Can't wait for part 2. Why oh why Toyota do you give us less and charge more? No ventilated seats, no heated steering wheel, no Car Play/Android auto, no heated rear seats. That V6 better be damn good!
Randy M no memory seats, the seats aren't fully leather... it's just overall gimmicky and people are buying into it
I got the 6 with 2.5 turbo. Shit MOVES
7.0 sec to 60? moves? omg. my old 2005 car is doing 7.0 s and it costs 3k
Great Review. Nice to see all 3 cars like that in a row at the same time.
1.Mazda 6 🔥🔥🔥
2. Honda accord 🔥🔥
2. Camry 🔥
Excellent work
If you would invest in some wind suppression microphone, it would greatly improve the quality of your video.
Your speech is clear and I really like the flow.
For I moment I thought it was Childish Gambino/Danny G presenting. Lol
Keep up the great work !!
