Japanese have too much to eat.
The food portion sizes are smaller in Japan than China.
U should do a video of u dressing up like them or them dressing u up

Oh it's that girl from that other episode!
CONTINUITY?!
This is sekuel indeed
The way you interact with those outrageously cool girls comes naturally with you because you're such a engaging bubbly person. Thanks for bringing a smile to my day. Your cat mask is pretty rad too like you.
Thank you! I was trying to fit in more with the mask lol
I've just started my journey into learning Japanese, which lead me to finding your channel. I really enjoy your content and binge watched all your videos in a day! ❤️
Welcome aboard! I'm really glad that you're into the videos. I'm really new to RUclips.
i started a couple week ago, good luck man, hope we can achieve this goal.
@@TheSuperMisterious98 Thank you, I wish you all the best in your journey too. I'm seven days in, working on Hiragana atm. I believe determination and persistence will always get you to where you want to be!!
Same, I love her videos!
same here! been at it for about 2 months and its sooo fun!
When you mingled with those colourfully dressed ladies...it’s amazing that you’re actually the one who stood out! :D
How would have guessed that dressing in normal clothes would make me standout? lol
Very smooth RespectOthers, very smooth indeed.
Maybe one day I could be fluent like you if I work hard. Maybe it will take 10 years! You speak as good as a native Japanese!
You can do it! Work hard and you can do anything.
How are you now? It’s been 5 months
It's been a year, have you committed?

this is probably one of the best ways i've seen people become friends. Also Sayaka seems like the coolest person ever!
I'm so happy that after 1,5 of studying japanese I can understand everything what you and Japanese people say without subtitles! I'm going to Japan in winter and can't wait to speak with Japanese!
Are you able to get into the country in the winter? It's all closed now.
@@OrientalPearlI hope they would open the borders
@@mateuszlewocz1661 how did you study i want to learn Japanese , Cantonese and mandarin
I feel like whenever I watch you/her I'm actually there
same, and on the same time i always feel what we call "Fernweh", and a bit of sadness cause of covid my travel to Tokyo this year was cancelled :(
That's the style I've been going for with these videos. RUclipsrs tend to over-produce videos like they are National Geographic or something. They are a bit out-of touch or maybe just trying harder than they have to.

I'm not a major fan of the decora style but their personalities are super sweet, they seem soooo nice
This isn't cosplay, it's everyday wear.
Harajuku is that kind of town.
Their looks are amazing! Wish I'd experimented with crazy fashion was younger. A bit too old for it now. Oh well, maybe in another life. ☺️
Nobody is to old to experiment in fashion!
It's never too late right!
When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me,
And I shall spend my pension
on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals,
and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired,
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells,
And run my stick along the public railings,
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick the flowers in other people's gardens,
And learn to spit.
You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat,
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go,
Or only bread and pickle for a week,
And hoard pens and pencils and beer mats
and things in boxes.
But now we must have clothes that keep us dry,
And pay our rent and not swear in the street,
And set a good example for the children.
We will have friends to dinner and read the papers.
But maybe I ought to practise a little now?
So people who know me
are not too shocked and surprised,
When suddenly I am old
and start to wear purple!
- Jenny Joseph
The style reminds of over the top 80s neon craze.
This was so much fun! Thank you! I really enjoyed this. As always you are inspiring and show if I overcome my shyness I can make more friends. I immigrated to another country (that speaks the same language so with the exception of a few phrases and some slang it really is the same) but I have become more introverted than when I was in my country. I am working on trying to overcome this.
Thank you!
You are so welcome!
I sure miss walking down Harajuku for the electric atmosphere. Omotesando nearby has some great cafes and restaurants tucked away if you want to take a breather somewhere quieter.
Great video! You've inspired me to start studying Spanish and Japanese again!
That's great!
I can speak spanish and I start to study english. Can we learn both?
@@VictoriadelosInocentes Sounds good!
@@VictoriadelosInocentes I also speak Spanish and then I learned English.
Now I'm learning Japanese so I can tell from experience that is better to start with only one language. In this case English since it's easier.
That’s so sweet that you got her a gift! 💕
how i love sayaka-san's energy and vibe. i hope u guys can make more vids together again~
like, can you pls try to make transformation vid harajuku fashion, that would be so fun. (。・ω・。)
I'll see if there is anyone that can help with that. I told Sayaka san that we should have filmed her getting her hair dyed.
i read when this video was published and my brain cannot comprehend that it’s august already😭
Same here!

I like that there are tourist attractions alive, walking around and interactive. :)
Everyone....make sure you let the ads run all the way through please. It will help ensure we keep getting these video's. I thoroughly enjoy them, as I'm sure you do too.
I'm always here early to give a like to your video before watching it 😅
I really appreciate that. It helps a lot.
I really am enjoying your videos! I'm loving the people of Japan! Sayaka has a great eye for style, and her shoes are the best!
Look at all the cute clothing she pick out in the thrift store. She found some super cute pieces.!
This video was really wholesome and had a great vibe
I love how this fashion is somewhat coming back!!
Been watching your videos all afternoon and just subscribed. Makes me want to dive in and learn Japanese so I can visit Tokyo!
That's wonderful.
Its lovely to see japan is back to normal, while here in my country we're back to quarantine.
I wouldn't say it's normal here.
It was so wholesome to watch! Loved the video. 73k already! yay!! you'll hit 100k in no time!
Fingers crossed!
Recently I started watching your videos, your video's are encouraging me daily to learn Japanese language. Even I too started learning Japanese 大好き です から とても 楽しかった ですね。Thanks for making a platform through youtube to learn languages. ありがとうございます。 私 インド人 です。love form India 🇮🇳

Im self teaching Japanese and its so nice when i can understand full sentences you say! Your videos really help.
Happy to hear that! It must be encouraging!
You can really talk to such shy japanese and make friends with.
When you started to check out the shops I was kind of sure Sayaka san would dress you up in Harajuku fashion. That'd be kind of cool and it sure would look... outstanding I'd dare to say 😉
I was waiting for that, too!
I'm already out of that age range.
@@OrientalPearl How is there an age range of what style of clothes you wear? I'm a bit confused :O Or is it just that they are all younger, or that you feel too old for it?
5:10 OMG LOL I seen that person back in January singing out loud outside Harajuku station!
I could watch these girls all day. So much positivity it's great.
Hi it is me again, Didier from Canada. I have been watching several videos from you today. For sure, in order to make friends it is good to have a commun hobby. As I wrote on a previous video, I play piano and I go to Japan for the time this year. I speak some japanese and want to meet randomly people in their daily life. I travel alone and want to live like the local people. I am eager to visit a real izakaya and meet people there!!! regards DIdier
I just enjoy watching this kind of videos when I have some free time and I admire you for not being shy ! I can't even speak to people in my own language (French) because I'm afraid of other people's opinion even though I know I should not worry about this.Anyway keep it up !
Don't worry about what other people think.
Wow, that hair though 😂 I love their style
It is very beautiful
her hair is pretty cool but waay too much work to maintain it .
Yeah, I’ve seen a couple of viral videos of Japanese girls “making friends” with others to avoid stalkers. Seems like a very caring environment and truly appreciate it!
Ha ha, luckily no one gives out their addresses in these videos.
Undoubtedly one of the biggest reason I love Japanese culture, is their politeness in day to day life. Like, "thank you for your help", "please take care of me", "thank you for your hard work" are thrown around so much on a daily basis, and also those were said to the people of the same level. I mean, I can understand if it's said to a teacher, or your boss, or something, but to the people of the same level? Who does that anywhere else??
Denmark as well
I’m from Mexico and i’m studying japanese and your videos really motivate me to keep studying and don’t give up. Love your channel.
Thank you Mexico!
Omg you two are so cute together! She's like you little sister!!
I am pleasantly surprised to see you carrying the Tower Records plastic bag, I had to rewind to ascertain that my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me, cause that is so 80s! OMG! In the 80s and 90s, whenever I travelled, I always look out for Tower Records as I used to collect vinyl records, especially those single 7 inch, I still have them. Anyway thanks for bringing a little fond memories for me!
That's a cool detail that you noticed. They have a shop in Ikebukuro.
Haha. Not a big tower fan. I am more avax trax store fan till its closure in 2002. Deng it. Both MY and Singapore stores.
I want to live in Japan when i graduate and your videos make me happy❤️ i hope to be as confident as you one day!! Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you Australia!
im feeling close to u and the people in video.. u make such a good vlog :((( Thank uuu

another awesome video I love that you showing people how easy it is to just go up and talk to people and teaching people too keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed it! I always try to do a little theme with each video.
The funny thing is that somehow I really enjoy your videos. I watch and listen fully concentrated. I listen to the words spoken while reading the english and transfering it to dutch. So much fun. Keep up the good work. Thank you!!
That's really wonderful. You've been here since the very beginning.

Hello I'm a new subscriber of yours.
I enjoy your videos, I am studying Japanese but it's not easy at all.. I master Hiragana and Katakana and I'm studying Kanji now but it's so difficult I have to study Japanese so I can understand people in Japan, my fiancé is a Japanese. He make me go study in Kumon in Japan.
Watching your videos inspired me, also I like it when you speak Chinese too. 😊 I'm use to watching C-drama.
Thanks for subbing! I'm glad that you are interested in Japanese.
Well I'm interested studying in Japanese since I'm in highschool, I've been watching anime ever since to study Japanese.
Another Awesome video👌🏼.. awaiting for the next Harajuku video.. Love your work..Keep on Motivating people 👍🏼
Thank you so much 😀 I'm working on it now.
I don't know if you will ever see this but you are honestly my inspiration and you got me started on learning Japanese and now I am learning 7 languages because I love to learn them. I just want to say thank you so so so much for just being you and sharing your love of making friends with different languages with everyone! I now have amazing friends from China, Japan, Spain, Malay, and Korea. I am moving to Korea in a year and a half and that has been my goal for 11 years but I just didn't have any big motivation to learn Korean just yet but now I am studying every single day. Thanks and I love you!
I saw it. Thank you so much for your kind words! I love you too!
Finally you made a video that doesn't involve food... Variety is good you know. Job well done.
I made lots of videos that don't involve food.
Great video! This was a lot of fun! I love your content! 👍❤️
Thank you so much 🤗
After watching your videos so much I finally decided to start learning Japanese. Never stop doing this content please
YES! That's the best comment today!
Sayaka san certainly brightens up your day, in more ways than one!
Very cool, @OrientalPearl, as in my college years (early 80's) when I first went to Japan, there was always someone in Harajuku just like your new friends, and they were all pretty chill and liked to talk to others, in Japanese and some English as well. As a male, it was not hard to chat with females there, but you had to be respectful and polite when chatting otherwise some younger Japanese girls will walk away, thinking you might be wanting something else...lol Surprised that Tokyo still has more people roaming around, as here in San Francisco, its like a "ghost town", not many people in the streets due to the virus, but the city laws here are more strict than in Tokyo right now. Anyway, love the video and will wait for your next one..お気をつけて、ね!! :-)
Thank you. I hope to get it finished by tomorrow night.
You should do a video where you dress up like those Harajuku girls. 😂
OMG, I am waaaaaay out of the age range for this. lol
Note to western women: you can have colorful hair and still act feminine
This is a good point.
@Zénaïde May Having blue hair and pretending to be a man? Yes it happens all the time.
@Zero Cool Of course they don't. And men don't have to build houses, but it sure helps.
@@syiunshi Well, shit... I like having blue hair and I am hyper-feminine. Lmao! (Hair isn't blue at the moment, cause of quarantine and cause I had it cut really short. Waiting to go back to salon, so I can have bleach in it again and then use the dye pots I have at home. lol)
@@ReptilianTeaDrinker really short hair doesn't sound hyper-feminine to me
OMG!! THEY HAVE TOWER RECORDS THERE??!??!?!
INCREDIBLE video Anming! your friends style is off the hook! LOVE IT!
oh, and SPOT ON about "find your kind"
There is a big store in Ikebukuro.
Well done, and fun video. No shock needed. Great message about just saying "Hi" to someone, even if they look different. Would love to see more videos of the fun things that make Japan unique.
I'm glad that I don't have to just do shock videos to keep viewers interested.
Harajuku looks like a cool city, will have to go there next time!! I appreciate the video
Video Quality and editing is 10/10! Amazing! GoodLuck.
And I'm such a newbie! That means a lot.
You literally seem like the nicest girl I've ever seen and ily lmao 👀
That's what the patriarchy does to a woman.
I predict that Anming will dress like an anime character within months lol !
We shall see about that lol

Looks like you had a fun day with your new friend!
Yes, she's pretty cool.
I found your channel very interesting and fun! Great content to watch stuff right from Japan... your channel has tremendous potential and it will grow more and more so keep going ganbatte ne!
Thank you very much!
Oriental Pearl I must thank you back for you efforts creating content and your great skills with Chinese and Japanese languages I might learn a thing or two from your awesome way of speaking Japanese! Arigato gozaimasu 😃
Its amazing how ur down to kick it with anyone! Love how your channel's growing! U should always mention your location and the business name. I doubt they mind free publicity. I'm sure Chinese people want to know where the best Chinese spots r in JPN. U can do ranking videos, budget challenge videos, and polls in multiple languages. U should also put multiple languages in the title to appeal to different demographics. Lastly, I recommend "Appreciate the effort!" as a translation for "otsukaresan!". Love all your vids, where can your fans support/donate to your channel?
AnMingSan must enable the "Join" features in her channel so that people can auto donate 2 her channel by weekly/monthly after joining. A lot of big established channels are doing that.
We just put the name of the thrift store Kinji in the video. 6% Doki Doki will be in the next one.
Very cool and awesome channel as always ❤️👍🏻 and hopefully one of these days, I can fly out to Japan when this whole COVID crisis is over in California “PRAYING EVERY DAY” all major holidays were cancelled in California 😞
Sorry that the situation has gotten so bad in California.

Something I like about Japan is the huge variety of possible styles that a person can have, you can see yourself very colorful, very dark, very rare ... there are so many styles and they are all happy in their own way, just amazing :)
Ughhh I would love to go to that store she took you to!
I hope you can come one day! The store is not expensive at all.

I'm a REALLY REALLY big fan of Visual Kei style, it was born there in Japan but it's been almost dead for years now, but it remains a bit nowadays. I'll be so delighted if you bring something about Visual Kei to the channel (maybe asking Harajuku people you meet about that fashion or smth).
Btw your videos are amazing, you always make me encourage to do my best learning Japanese and anything really!
