Birdeye view of (most of) my QuickSharp protocol
The steps:
Worksharp KO Elite - X-Coarse belt until raised a burr, then ‘medium’ grit for 3 passes per side
Freehand honing with Tormek leather wheel and standard Tormek honing paste
10x strops per side with hanging leather strop (Kangaroo tail).
And that’s it! This is a pretty reliable procedure to achieve about 150 BESS at 20dps… But tonight we scored a bit lower.
