Im surprise for what Mr. Kojima have created. As someone that play game to enjoy the game's world immersion, the feeling of inside the world of that game, the atmosphere, graphic, etc, knowing that this game can make exploration very rewarding and challenging, made me quite happy. No microtransactions or lies to justify other kinds of "time saver" predatory monetization means I'll be double dipping on the PS and PC. Just a full game, at a flat fair price, as the gaming art form should be.

Damn, I’ve only played the PS5 director’s cut, but seeing this makes me want to install the PS4 version to get that motion blur back. I really wish they included a slider or setting for motion blur in the director’s cut on PS5, because the shutter angle isn’t compensated for the doubles frame rate, resulting in a far less filmic look to the effects, animations, and camera work. I really hope someday this becomes standard practice for any cinematic style games that have different target frame rates across multiple modes or platforms.

After watching all the reviews that popped in today on RUclips from various famous RUclipsrs, I found Digital Foundry's and Gamespot's review the best so far. IGN is an underestimater. IGN reviews games like a jealous neighbor that reviews other people's personal lives. Most reviewers are saying this game's "not for everyone", but eventually everyone is going to play it irrespective of all the odds because who doesnt want to play a Kojima game irrespective of what the world is saying. Its no doubt that its Hideo Kojima's another Magnum Opus, it takes time to understand it better. Its a painting trying to covney a simple message more artistically and beautifully, but people's nuclear thoughts make it a harder pill to swallow. We truly are on the verge of being a fractured society at one point or another, we just don't know it yet. This game is just prophesizing the aftermath of it. For all the haters out there, if its hard for you to appreciate the game, at least appreciate the art. If I had to describe this game in one word, I would call it... Minutiae.
One of the most stunning things to me is this is running on an ancient Jaguar CPU. Next generation the minimum is going to be Zen 2 Ryzen tech. That is such an extraordinary leap.
Again, I wish they would avoid the on-screen rain effects, it just makes it look like a camera crew is behind the player... now in first person view inside of the helmet it would be perfect Also, i wonder if the bike physics are carefully taught through, or just quick fix, because just like everything else it looks amazing, it has suspension nicely working, but bounces over the curbs. It makes it very hard to understand why games focusing on driving like a Crew 2 have such a poorly implemented physics
In YongYea's review he says something along the lines of that the bike physics are good but occasionally do weird things, theirs also a visual example in the review

Im surprise for what Mr. Kojima have created. As someone that play game to enjoy the game's world immersion, the feeling of inside the world of that game, the atmosphere, graphic, etc, knowing that this game can make exploration very rewarding and challenging, made me quite happy. SkillUp, Digital Foundry, Yong Yea, and playstation access also tell the same thing that exploration is so deep in this game. Other open world game that give a rewarding exploration for me so far is witcher 3, im hopping that Deathstranding can outclassed witcher 3 in this aspect.

This was an amazing tech review, immediately subbed. The way the team does the art in this game is so smart and intriguing. I'm excited to get my hands on Death Stranding now, if nothing else, just for the art side of it, being a 3D artist.
This game is made for people who care about details and just want an emersive exploring experience. The complains about this game come from people who dont like this type of games or struggle in its gameplay because they dont understand it. I dont care what others say! Its a masterpiece and an art of its kind! Well done kujima!
That's what the developers said about the dragon flying game on the PS3 that reviewers shit on because the motion controls were to hard. Then shit on again when they sent out instructions on how the game was meant to be played.
Whoa holy shit. That flooding and changing the entire terrain is honestly incredible. Jesus christ, I'm a little upset I didn't get to experience that for myself without knowing about it but either way it's very impressive. Definitely something I've never seen in gaming ever.
There's probably many more moments like this in the game, don't worry!
I had to cover my eyes and listen during that part
That part really surprised me. I am a little irritated with myself for not waiting and experience this without knowing of it ahead of time, but on the other hand I'm eager to see more of this on my own screen. I'm also very excited about his comments about the HDR implementation being so good it might merit its own video. They did that with GT Sport, and I know how that one looks first hand.
Im a huge Kojima fan, but I didnt really care for what I was seeing for this game....Now I cant wait for it
Arturius Why? Because of the graphics? Gameplay looks ... special

I'll have to see it for myself but from what I've seen its conveluded for the sake of it unlike metal gear solid which wove its story and mystery very well. Will have to see

While watching this I thought about: who need ray tracing with this visual quality? Damn this is so impressive.
