Biffa Bacon stop typing something that can be a fact. How about no. Michael don’t listen to this guy. Keep saying it.
Listen Michael, we aren't alone it's a known fact that there's life out there, any of the great scientists would say the same. So we aren't alone we never were.
Imagine... if in fact we're not alone as in aliens/ ghosts /paranormal... how do you fight off these forces/beings/things if they mean us harm? We're pretty much doomed with that aspect. 🤔😒👻👽

I think this is a very important piece of cinema that was made and you are blessed for watching it. It should have opened your mind to the possibility of divine higher dimensional beings and then... eventually... to God
In my 29 years of life, this is the only movie that I actually consider scary.

Ibrahim Kromah It’s good and not that scary, very interesting! Until the final phases of them happen, it gets terrifying. The horror is unexpected. You’d probably like it a lot if you like story kind of movies a long with a bit of suspense.
LMFAO me too
Trust me I thought that too and I still did
Yeah you do it's not that scary
King Kromah tell that to 9 year old me that had nightmares the following months after seeing that movie lmao
If a scary movie scares you, that's normal,, but if it terrifies you to a point that you have to pause or lower the volume sometimes to be able to watch it and look behind you times to times to ensure there is nothing or no one, then it's more than a scary movie... that's rather felt like a real haunting experience... this movie is so underrated and the actors and director deserve much more credit for this masterpiece.
Lol.
@@TxxT33 why would you say lol? That’s a well articulated review of how a movie is so well made it triggers a deep emotional reaction which the whole point of movies and everything you’ve ever watched on the tv or your phone or anything with a screen is to trigger an emotional reaction because it causes mental stimulation and attention.. and the bigger the emotional reaction the more the brain is stimulated and the more you’re inclined to watch, purchase the product If one is advertised, or agree with the point being made wether it be political or social.. if you lack the cognitive capability to understand that and you just came here to spew negativity and toxicity you’re just projecting your own misery of your life and the level of your ignorance…
@@Killacam1992 Because they knew someone like you would take the bait.
The fear of the unknown is much scarier than of what you can see... and the fact that the blind little girl was abducted, a little hopeless girl in the hands of aliens and a hopeless sad mom crying for her lost girl knowing the latter is with aliens, both horrors of it are unimaginable...
@@Killacam1992 Lmao, very eloquently put. However, rarely do I give ratings below 5 on IMDb cause generally I try to watch top tier movies. I rated this one 4/10, and that's on me being generous.

Well normal people, the public only have access to this kind of information. I find it highly unlikely that they could make up all of it. But they could. It's a very good movie.
If a horror movie makes you desperate to know if it was real afterwards, then it did its job. It didn’t deserve the bad reviews.
The problem was that they marketed it as if it were 100% real and they had found footage of it.

This movie messed me up for weeks. It's the evidence and the tie ins with history that got under my skin.
DisneyGator There is no element of fact in this movie. It’s all fake. The “real life” footage is just a fake scene with actors.
@@nostalgia9338 wait, forreal? Like I could understand the original story being a hoax or maybe a mass hysteria (English isn't my first language so correct me if I'm using that wrong!) but the "acting" from the "real" clips just felt like natural dialogue and felt very real? Also at the end when it showed that the real officer refused to play a part in the movie, I figured that made sense if it were true?

@@nostalgia9338 It doesnt matter if its fake, its just the idea of it. Theres this unique dread to a low quality "real" video, along with the distorted voice in the recording. If no footage was provided I would have laughed at this movie, but with the footage it remains the scariest movie ive ever seen, theres just such an odd sense of dread to it. I still question what really happened here. I mean, a guy *killed* his wife and 2 kids because of what he saw, no one would go that far for a hoax. Maybe they faked the footage because the woman was desperate for the police to find her daughter, you know? You just gotta see it from a different perspective sometimes.
Actually it's based off of a case or cases that took place in Alaska. Happened to a couple families. It was a small town so of course it was hush hush before the media could get ahold of it.
@Eric Jungmann I hate to break it to you but I obviously knew. Me recommending Lake Mungo as a solid horror movie has nothing to do with the fact if I believe the movie is real or not.

I still have memories from before I was 5 years old. I'm the only one in my family that does. And one of them was this same face, from back in the late '70s. It was before the movies Close Encounters or ET, and before the infamous book cover for Communion entered pop culture.
As a 3 or 4 year old young boy, I was at my grandmother's old house with my folks and a bunch of uncles and aunts. We had a fun time talking and eating and watching TV, but eventually it got dark outside , and my mother told me I looked sleepy so it was my bedtime. She sent me down the hall from the dining room to the front bedroom to change into my pajamas and to lay down in the tall guest bed there. It was a cool evening, so we had a lot of the windows open to allow a breeze to blow throughout the house. There were screens in all the window frames. As I was taking out my clothes from my bag at the foot of the bed, and with the sounds of continued talking and laughter coming from down the hall, I heard some scratching and I noticed a movement out of the corner of my eye. And then I saw it: the classic gray face with big black eyes, staring back at me, from just outside the side window. It was a low mounted window, with the window sill about a foot off the floor, so the raised window pane couldn't have been more than 4 feet off the ground. Whatever it was, it was shorter than 4 feet tall. I freaked! And I screamed like a little girl! The face also shreaked, but in a lower, animal like warble. And then the face disappeared.
Before I knew it, my parents and one of my uncles were standing beside me. My mom picked me up, and they all started asking me what was wrong at the same time. I pointed and told them there was someone at the window. I told them it had big black eyes and pointy chin, with no hair. They all looked over to the window, and of course they saw nothing. They tried to comfort me by dismissing my fear, and told me that I must have already fallen asleep and had a bad dream. But I rejected their explanation. I knew I had remained awake the entire time. I was in the middle of preparing my pajamas when it happened. I had heard the grown-ups' voices continuously throughout all of it. There had not even been that much time that passed since I was sent to the bedroom in the first place. I swore I saw someone out there, but he was gone then.
The men laughed it off and returned to the dining room, while my mom changed my clothes and tucked me into bed. She also closed the window and drew the curtains tight, and turned on a floor fan for air circulation and background noise. I didn’t fall asleep quickly; it took me awhile.
Memories of this incident stuck with me throughout my childhood, but my relatives all pooh-poohed it away as the idle imagination of a child.
But years later, I put some things together, and I confronted my folks and my grandparents about them. I asked when the row of hedges was erected on that side of the house. They had not been there forever, because old photos showed the yard on that side of the house being completely empty. And that’s when they finally admitted some important things to me. That same night of the incident as a little boy, my father had gone out onto that side of the house with a flashlight, and he had found something. He told me he had seen scuffmarks in the soil just outside the window sill, which appeared to be too big for an animal, but too small for an adult. There were no individual toe prints or outlines, but they did look vaguely like child-sized footprints. They had waited decades to share this with me! And it was precisely because of this incident and their findings that my grandparents had the row of bushes planted on that side of the house, including in front of that low window. And we stopped opening windows for air flow, relying exclusively on air conditioning instead.
To this day, 40 years later, I still don’t know exactly what it was that I saw. I am unaware of any other weird incidents like this, and my parents have not been forthcoming about such either.
But I definitely know I saw something --someone-staring at me from outside that window. It was something that made my toddler self scream in fear. And it was something that alarmed the grown ups in my life enough to put up some security measures to prevent it from happening again.
If his is fake please write horror movies

I think the main reason why this film is so scary is because it never shows the aliens , just peoples reactions to there experiences , it’s like h.p love craft said “The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear , and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown “
Still is and will be the scariest movie I've ever watched. I'm 28 now and I still remember that night I watched this.
I just know about this movie and was planning to watch right now but after reading the comments I changed my mind for now 😂 I strongly believe that we never were alone in the universe and this world. the best way to go is to do good for others and avoid hurting and deceiving others. I think the truth will reveal when we die. so be prepared. 🤞🙂

I was taken on my birthday to go see this in theaters. As a consumer of horror: specifically aliens and found footage kinds of horror, it still to this day is my favorite of it's kind. My favorite horror film and what I consider to be the most frightening in my own opinion. Everyone has an opinion on what type of horror is truly scary to them. For me, it's believe-ability, it is possibility of truth. The fear this movie instills is primal and brings you back to your days sweating in bed at night, scared of the unknown as a child. It is anxiety of what you will see next as the beginning pulls no punches.
Whether or not aliens are real, there are truly disturbing clips in this movie of people who ACTUALLY died. That is why others in the comment section warn not to watch it if you think you aren't ready. Appreciate this film for what it is, a question. Nothing is scarier to me than the unknown.

Speaking of ananuki, you should look into the wingmakers and the interviews with Dr. Anderson. Better to read the original itranscripts first before tiny portions of it were edited out by govt censors. The story about the wingmakers came to light when a grouo discovered inside of a rock formation, were 23 chambers/rooms carved out in a spirol, each room containing art, ,music etc and it was later determined to be a time capsule, from an advanced human race. The discovery happened back in the 70's, the govt took over and it was called the "Ancient Arrow Project". However, there were things (like optical discs) nobody heard or seen yet and it ended up taking us 30+ yrs just to have the technology to decypher the discs. Definately worth researhing.
Thank you very much for your comment! In the middle of reading the interview now :)

Victoria ツ it’s pretty good science fiction. Hollywood done a really good job making up the whole plot in this one.
i watched it as teens , now im a mother of two and this movie still haunts me
I think this got me into this whole documentary genre. It is one of those movies. I was just a kid when I watched this for the first time.
When I was in my first year of high school, at the end of the school year, classmate said he had 1 good "historic" movie and asked out history teacher if we could watch it. Teacher said yes and we watched that "good historic movie".
After that I was waking up at 3:32 - 3:33 a lot of times at night, and that continued for like 3 years. I was always in fear at night when 3:33 was about to happen. After some time I saw that that movie was actually a horror and I was not surprised. Remember we were watching it at school, not at home or at night ( even worse ) and I was still in fear.
Now that was like 8 years ago, today I'm a different person. Would I still experience the same fear if I watched movie today ?
Probably not, but still, this movie is really scary, because it includes clips of what actually happened.
This is just a warning to people that want to watch it, if you are looking for a really scary horror movie, then this is 100% for you.
Just to add few things. The guy said that the language of those beings is sumerian.
Now sumerians are the oldest known ancient civilization and they have all kinds of stories. But they were not the only ones to talk about beings coming from stars or from somewhere else. Basically every ancient civilization has stories of beings or gods coming from the skies.
Now whether you believe that they are aliens from space, or interdimensional beings or whatever, it doesn't really matter, what matters is that everyone ever since ancient times is talking about some other beings that are in contact with us.
If we deny that there are other beings out there somewhere ( whatever they are ), then we might never find out the truth, about all those stories and events, that are happening on our planet for thousand of years.
Mitja Sreš the fact that your teacher believed that any part of this movie was real or had actual footage in it is the part that is most disturbing. It’s a science fiction movie.
the footage was real.
terry why do they have the actress from Scott and Sid playing Abigail Tyler in the footage if it’s real.? (Charlotte Milchard)
Everyone knows Milla Jovovich plays Abigail in part of the split frame movie.
terry are we talking about different movies, still discussing The Fourth Kind, just for clarification.?
@@Tickle..Tipson it wasnt
Horror movies are cartoon to me but this one ... really really thrilled me and I watched it alone 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😎
OMG I saw this! I thought I was just finding out about this movie for the first time, it sounded interesting so I loaded up the trailer and in a couple of seconds tears filled my eyes! I remember that I saw this movie when it first came out and I remember being so scared I couldn't move but I somehow remember nothing about what was actually in this movie.
Watched this some years ago, still remains the scariest movie i have seen..!! A must watch i would say.
one of the scariest horror movies ever made, so much better than all these jump scare horror movies nowadays
Number 1 scary's movie ever i don't sleep alone after watching this movie
Never seen it before. Do you recommend i watch. Or nah 😂😫
You haven't seen Night Of The Giggling Hamster then
Not sure why, but the fact that Milla Jovovich herself had to put a warning at the beginning of this trailer to the audience still gives me goosebumps to this day. Regardless that this is all fake.
What a hidden Gem, really well done. Just finished watching and i know i will never sleep before 3.33 am again :)
The acting was great. One of my top movies I can watch multiple times.
This is by far the most scary movie ever, still giving me nightmares. I advise strongly against watching it if you have sleep paralysis or insomnia.
I have sleep paralysis and had owl nightmares for months after watching this
This movie really scared me as a teen, and it scares me now as an almost 30 year old.
Did anyone else also wake up at 3:33 for a couple of days after watching this movie?
I've not watched the film but that is something which jumped out at me as I wake up a 3:30am almost every night and have done for years 😅
Anyone here after watching them talk about this movie on Joe Rogan Podcast?
I have been watching horror movies all my life but this one of the few movies that left me sleepless for days.
so glad i’m not the only one that used to watch scary movies when they were ridiculously young
I remember this one actually creeped me out when I first saw it. I can't say that about most horror films I've seen.
This movie marked my life forever ngl. I remember watching this when I was 10 years old
This is truly the scariest movie I've ever seen. I remember walking home at midnight after watching this and getting terrified of every little thing that jumped and I was watching the sky all the time.
That image of the owl's eyes will haunt my sleep tonight
I watched this at the cinema without knowing it wasn’t true - I remember struggling to sleep that night 😂
I watched this movie when I was 10 years old. When I say I have never been the same. Oh my God.
I have never been so scared watching a movie before, or since this one. It set a new bar
I remember this movie scared me and my brother so much we had to do have an alien look out whenever we went out at night
I have studied the history of this film and the fact it is based on real life events. My conclusion is this film is 100% truthful. After its release the government was so scared of the truth getting out they done everything within their power to discredit the film.
Gnome Alaska has PLENTY of missing people.just vanish without a trace..more fact than fiction..airline pilots at the end of the credits..actual sitings and still go on to this day...and covered up by the FAA ..
If pilots report what they
See they lose there lively hood...
What happened to the therapist, I don't want to watch that movie 😕 too scary
HOW do I research to determine the credibility of this film?
I reckon 90 percent true, not sure about the spaceship but sure was entertaining.
@@garryh3126 That's right, no one wants to lose their lively (neighbor)hood!
I literally just explained this movie over a two way radio to the other equipment operator on nightshift with me and an owl landed on top of my suv literally 2 minutes later and just watched me work for the last hour... it's still there...
This movie scared the hell out of me when I saw it in theaters. I need to revisit it .
This movie scared the bejesus out of me and still does.
This is one of the best alien movies ever made, hell.. one of the best horror movies.
My first attempt at watching this movie was late at night with all the lights off. I had to turn it off and try again another time during daylight. This is a brilliant and really disturbing movie!
I remember watching this movie when I was little, creeps me out to this day. 😂
I love this movie.
I'm about to watch this movie right now on Netflix
I watched this last 11ys ago and ti this day it gives chills
JeezUZ! This movie is creepy af! The real life audio/video helps build the mystery & scariness.. a few good jump scares, woo! 😱
I remember other people watching this and I couldn't watch it.
I never have a hard time watching horror movies.
Now I'm trying to watch it myself.
My grandpa is one of the few people who can speak Sumerian, and I've actually kind of come to think maybe there's an alien link in my family, like I'm a part of a few alien abductee support groups and I post about my weird dreams.
I was a sleep walker, so was my father.
UPPPPPP
The night I watched this movie back when it came out I had one of the strangest dreams ever. I fell asleep with my parents because I was so scared. I woke up in the middle of the night to something standing at my door, I tried to scream or move but I couldn’t do any of that. I could feel it pulling me off the bed and Then I woke up the next day like normal as if nothing happened, till this day I just tell myself it’s sleep paralysis but iv never been able to forget it even tho so many years have passed. NEVER WATCHING THIS MOVIE AGAIN LOL
This is the first movie I remember watching. I was like 4; we had a cd. I don’t remember much besides the part where that guys has the attack on the couch. That’s part scared the life out of me as a kid. Year later now at 17. After finding out about it again on tiktok, i really need to watch this movie again
I watched this when I was 9 and I was terrified, Im gonna watch it again tonight to see if it will still scare me, the trailer already looks terrifying, wish me luck
Still the scariest film I've ever seen, legit couldn't sleep for 2 weeks
Want a hamster?

Ive watched it what it seems 8 9 or even ten years ago and i stll will never forget this movie
I was 26 and i slept with the lights on lol
I've only watched the trailer and I'm scared to go upstairs by myself
When I watch the ufo over the house I instantly remembered seeing a ufo over a house when i looking out my bedroom window as a kid my brother seen it too
I remembered that time my hamster got loose and terrorized the neighborhood
i remember this trailer kept me from sleeping by windows for the longest time
