Many thanks, Tracey. I just couldn't figure out how to use mine, and I was on the verge of taking to a charity shop. Thanks to you, I can now enjoy my coffees! 😋
Thanks for this video. I'm so very glad I watched this before using mine for the first time as I know now ahead of time I have to turn the handle manually to stop it. I used to go upstairs and get dressed while my old automatic one was running so good to know I can't do that with this one or I would have come downstairs to a kitchen overflowing with coffee 😂
Just bought one, followed your instructions - perfect, first time. Thanks. The only glitch was that I couldn't find the little funnel thing for cleaning, but that turned out to be in its holder! I assume I could use an empty, rinsed-out coffee pod for this purpose.
Thank you for this video. We thought something was wrong with our machine because it vibrates quite a bit and makes a loud noise. But is seems normal with this machine. Cheers
Really useful. I was a bit confused as expected the pods to be empty when finished (and wasn’t sure when to turn off the hot water) but guessing you adjust how much water goes in according to taste
Yeah, she control the strength of the coffee by how much water you run through the pods are always full of water because you’ve got wet coffee grinds in there
Now this model doesn’t stop automatically which I do find so annoying I keep forgetting in and then come back to Accountant all of coffee. There are more expensive bottles that do turn themselves off probably worth paying the extra.
I just purchased one too. No English instructions, had to Google. Bit of a bind it not stopping automatically like the Tassimo but I suppose you get used to it eventually x 🤔☺️
Great video, thanks. Just prepared my first cappuccino, which looked and tasted fab. My question is, I noted that the drink only used about ½ of the milk pod. Can you make a 2nd brew from the same pod? Otherwise quite a waste.
Thanks so much for a clear and concise video, which was so helpful. Far clearer than the information packaged with my birthday coffee machine. Just enjoyed making flat whites to share with my husband. A quick question - how often do you recommend cleaning the machine?
Got this as a replacement for my last dolce gusto (penguin variant) which has broken. I’m gutted it doesn’t have the timing slider as it really wasn’t far from the same price. Should do the job in any case. Great demo, cheers!
On the pods it shows what setting to use by the number of markers. Eg for a Latte or cappuccino, its usually 5 markers on the milk one and 1 or 2 on the actual coffee pod. So where is the setting on this that allows you to adjust the markers? Or do you have to use your judgement?
Cheaper, Dulce, gusto machines you have to switch it on and off yourself. The more expensive have the slide switch that you marry up with the fuel gauge type display on the pods.
I got one for my sons mum ,anyadvise on wich coffe to first buy her as none came with her infinissima pls keep in mind that I am Colombian and naturally proud of our coffe ,Lol nice thank you.🙂 Don Pablo supremo is very popular I'd like to try it someday soon wich have you tryed so far ?..
Two possibilities the water tank isn’t docked correctly or the little valve where the water tank fits has got caught some how . the other option is it needs to be descaled and maybe the inside has furred up . I have separate videos on how to descale machines
Hi thank you for the video as the instructions are only in pictures and I couldn’t understand why I would use 2 pods pictured a&b! I can only drink oat milk and bought this not thinking about the milk, 🙄 so I made a caramel macchiato with only the coffee pod and topped up with oat but had to microwave, do you know if there are nice pods like caramel macchiato made with oat milk?
Hi, I just got the machine and when I turn it on the red button lights up but not the green one. The red glows for five minutes and then the machine turns itself off. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?
Does anyone know how your supposed to figure out when to turn off the water? I've tried making the macchiato a couple of times its always watery and bland even if I try not to use too much water
Evryone has there own way. I know how far up the glass to go, but generally 20 secs of liquid is enough for me. More expensive models do this automatic
You will need to buy a pack of milk pods. They are not everyone’s taste. You could put third of a cup of milk in first then microwave for about 15-20 seconds then add coffee from machine .
I have just bought this machine which appears to be very good, I just seem to be throwing away half used capsules? On watching the video I see you stopped the milk as and when but the coffee did seem to stop on its own so assume whole capsule used. I will try again with bigger glasses.
Thank you I have a Melody which will one day serve its last coffee. I like its large water container have been looking in ebay for a backup one, but now I know this one has a large water container will look no more, this will be my next one. One really important thing you do not mention is Descaling VERY important, better tasting coffee, longer life for your machine, might seem expensive but not really.
It depends on how hard your water is. Without it your machine will last a couple of years. I have made a seperate video on descaling which shoudl help. Differnet machine but the process is the same : ruclips.net/video/esRuyyAKthc/видео.html
An upgraded model now exists the 260, which is now mostly automatic you just select 1 to 9 which the number is on the pod. Not fully automatice like the Bosch Tasimo which uses barcodes and a internal scanner.
Yes, you have to stop for coffee as well. There are more expensive Dulcie gusto machines that will turn themselves off, but the cheaper models you’ve got to do it yourself. It is very easy to forget to let things overflow
@@mgtracey I did try that yet nothing however with a bit of irish/Scottish persuasion with a not to hefty fix it by hand atop the item it then started to proceed with water alas I guess something may of been blocking the water exiting which now appears to be rectified although I wouldn't suggest for others to attempt this of course. I appreciate your response , thank you.
Thank you sir for this brilliant video, two questions, where can I buy the mug you used for the cafe?😅 Question 2, can I use any pods from any company or just Nescafé pods?
Many thanks, Tracey. I just couldn't figure out how to use mine, and I was on the verge of taking to a charity shop. Thanks to you, I can now enjoy my coffees! 😋
Wonderful news. Have a great Christmas

Thank you! I'm on holiday and couldn't figure out how to use this! Your video was a huge help! Now we are enjoying delicious cafecitos!! 🎉
Happy holidays!
Thank you got this as a present for mothers day and hadnt clue how to work it .
Glad I could help!
Thanks so much for a detailed, short and concise video. I’m so excited to use my machine now and save money!
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks I was struggling to understand it so great I just made a coffee for husband and I and we are delighted with it 😊
Wonderful!
Thank you for this video.
We thought something was wrong with our machine because it vibrates quite a bit and makes a loud noise. But is seems normal with this machine. Cheers
thinking about gifting this to myself for Christmas :D
It’s the best present 🎁
Thanks for your advice.
You're welcome
Fantastic demonstration! I did exactly same thing yesterday and it was delicious... but i need that beautiful glass haha
Very helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thankyou! Best one on here! 👍
Glad you think so!

Thank you! I decided to get one and this is perfect for me. Wonderful review/how to use!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I just bought one now and your video helped me a lot.
Glad I could help!
So is this not stopping g automatically? Do you have to manually start/stop it
Now this model doesn’t stop automatically which I do find so annoying I keep forgetting in and then come back to Accountant all of coffee. There are more expensive bottles that do turn themselves off probably worth paying the extra.
Nice one m8t I got this but the instruction had no English didn't even know how to switch it on to boil it before you. Great bid!
Glad I could help
I just purchased one too. No English instructions, had to Google. Bit of a bind it not stopping automatically like the Tassimo but I suppose you get used to it eventually x 🤔☺️
Thank's for the translate Arabic 😍
Do you stop it every time my old machine stopped automatically but this one i thought would and my drink over flow 🤔
Varies by model. Cheaper ones don’t do it themselves
Just had my first coffee. Thanks for the tips!
You're so welcome!
Great video, thanks. Just prepared my first cappuccino, which looked and tasted fab. My question is, I noted that the drink only used about ½ of the milk pod. Can you make a 2nd brew from the same pod? Otherwise quite a waste.
That pod really is just full of water you can’t reuse it
Great demonstration!! Just wondering, why do people put milk in first? Is it just for appearance or does it change the flavour?
You don’t get the same creamy head with all the coffee machine systems. It’s always milk first.
Thanks so much for a clear and concise video, which was so helpful. Far clearer than the information packaged with my birthday coffee machine. Just enjoyed making flat whites to share with my husband. A quick question - how often do you recommend cleaning the machine?

Totally agree

After use are the cups supposed to be full of water?
Yep you recycle them with the pop back free scheme that way
Beautiful coffee mashine
Nice machine but Noisy 😊
I got this nice machine coffee so delicios
Great 👍
Thanks for the video,I just got mine today.
So,for macchiato you used two different pods?
Yes milk pod first.
@@mgtracey Thank you very much.
Thank you 🙏

I have this machine and it has stopped allowing water to go through it. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it or has it got to be thrown away?
Two possibilities the water tank isn’t docked correctly or the little valve where the water tank fits has got caught some how . the other option is it needs to be descaled and maybe the inside has furred up . I have separate videos on how to descale machines
Thank you just purchased this and was just needed hope your enjoying your coffee too
Hope you enjoy it!
Oh the white pods are milk 😂 ill try it like this tomorrow. Just thought they was different colours randomly
Can you use this machine as a hot water dispenser so can make a normal cup of tea?
Yes just run machine without a pod in. May not be as hot as a kettle though.. Paul
Hi thank you for the video as the instructions are only in pictures and I couldn’t understand why I would use 2 pods pictured a&b! Can I use not the starbucks nescafe dolce gusto coffee but the regular dolce gusto cafe au lait?
Do you recommend any reusable pods? The normal dolce gusto ones are not compatible.
I’ve had mixed results. They are easy to insert the wrong way which can damage the machine
do I have to rinse each time I make coffee?
No I oh between different types of hog chocolate to coffee for examplev
Hi, where did you get the glass you used for the cleaning stage please? I really like it!
That's from Tesco UK
A shop
Will it take tassimo pods?
No different shape and size .
Thanks very helpful 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, I just got the machine and when I turn it on the red button lights up but not the green one. The red glows for five minutes and then the machine turns itself off. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?
Did you stop coffee flowing by yourself??? Or automatically stoped
depends on model but this one you have to do it yourself
Hi, did you have to turn to off yourself on both pods? I'm assuming that the machine doesn't just stop automatically?!
This machine actually turns itself of after 5 mins 😊
Does anyone know how your supposed to figure out when to turn off the water? I've tried making the macchiato a couple of times its always watery and bland even if I try not to use too much water
Evryone has there own way. I know how far up the glass to go, but generally 20 secs of liquid is enough for me. More expensive models do this automatic
Well explained
Can i put semi Skinned Milk in the Container or do i have to buy the Milk Pods ? Kind Regards 😊

Hi, just found you today, so glad I did. Started using my new machine yesterday, today I can't open my pod drawer, it seems to be stuck.
Did it shut easily? If not pod may be in wrog position. Just use a litle more forse to pull top up. Check position of future pods.
@@mgtracey Thank you for your reply, luckily my other half came to the rescue, I had tried for 20mins with no joy. All ok now thanks again.
You sound like Pierce Morgan. :)

I think the pod has wet coffee grains in it, so it feels full.

Is this better than tassimo?
Coffee taste about the same .
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
I got this machine new and its not making any noise at all. The green lights on but it wont turn on. Grr
You have put a pod in ? Check all packaging tape removed. Check full water tank is docked . Try pouring a cold coffee.
How do you know how to stop it i mean i dont like water down coffee
You move the switch back to the center when you have the right amount of water for your teast. More expensive versions so use bar codes to self stop.
So do these make iced coffee or just hot
Both but you need different pods, marked ice.
@@mgtracey OK thnxs
Where do you buy the coffee pods from and can they only be for this particular machine ?
Here is my amazon link for pack of great flat white for your machine at £9 : amzn.to/3AJfsGN
Is this automatic or manual? Thanks for your wonderful review.
This one is manual, I have reviewed some of the autmatic versions. I prefer those.
Manual, but you can upgrade it, just ask someone to make a cuppa for you, and it becomes fully automatic.
An upgraded model now exists the 260, which is now mostly automatic you just select 1 to 9 which the number is on the pod. Not fully automatice like the Bosch Tasimo which uses barcodes and a internal scanner.
How do I specify the amount of water in this machine because it does not contain this feature, unlike the rest of the company's machines
You have to move the top level back manually when correct level is reached
why you need to stop the milk manually but no need to stop the coffee?
Yes, you have to stop for coffee as well. There are more expensive Dulcie gusto machines that will turn themselves off, but the cheaper models you’ve got to do it yourself. It is very easy to forget to let things overflow
Tried using mine from new , but very noisy and upon following your tutorial there's no water dispensing from said machine.
Sounds like the water tank is not correctly clipped in at the back have a go on docking and re-docking and try again to see if that fixes it
@@mgtracey I did try that yet nothing however with a bit of irish/Scottish persuasion with a not to hefty fix it by hand atop the item it then started to proceed with water alas I guess something may of been blocking the water exiting which now appears to be rectified although I wouldn't suggest for others to attempt this of course.

How do you know how mush water to use ?
When cup is at right level switch off level at top.
Thank you sir for this brilliant video, two questions, where can I buy the mug you used for the cafe?😅
Question 2, can I use any pods from any company or just Nescafé pods?
The mug came from Tesco . You can y use any pod brand as long as it’s marked Dolce Gusto. Other systems like Tassimo won’t fit.
De ce se aprinde becul galben âncat loc de verde?

If that is how its done then there is a problem with mine cos nothing works.
Double check with a good bang the water tank is docked correctly.
I just brought mine any no water is coming out
almost certain water tank is not docked correctly - paul
It's idiotic doesn't stop automatically u have to guess waste of money
I know, I've had mine for a while but I've just bought a Mini Me to replace it.
Looks like high maintenance costs
Just the pod cost really
@@mgtracey Does it give extra hot coffee and would you recommend it
I dont get how that plastic bit inside cleans it. I thought it was if u didn't have pods u can put normal coffee in there 🤣🤦🏼♀️🤣 idiot am i 🙈🤣😂🤣
