Good video. Things to note - your cons are coming at it as more of someone who does video / photography for a living. The Pocket 3 definitely feels designed for someone like me with little experience with shooting video, but wants great video without much effort. I don't want to mess with all these manual controls. I just want to hit a button and have my shot look good.
I don't understand why LOG is so difficult or why it is considered a premium feature. Isn't it basically software? - like the iPhone 16 has no LOG but the Pro does, and why is it so hard for DJI to add a real LOG.
Thank you TLDR for bringing this out. multi- and wider optical focal length, with physical dials for manual exposure, snapshot & instant-on-off switch would be perfect enough for me.
I have been begging for almost a year they bring the zebras to the screen, not just via the MiMo app. It could be optionally enabled. It will greatly help properly expose it. For now, because I shoot HLG, I have EV to -0.7, and in strong sun, I use an ND 128, as 32 was not good enough. Variable NDs gave me bad sky, so I only use fixed NDs. Finally, I wish they also made the top right EV display bigger. That way, even without zebras, we could at least fast and easily see where we go wrong with exposure.
In my understanding, you have face exposure, but only in normal colour mode and NOT in D-Log M...and to be honest I think you can grade the normal 10 bit the same as the "fake" log
It’s fun (we have one in the office) but I prefer the concept of an action cam and with the Action 5 Pro being released, I like the versatility of being able to record my adventures and sort of set it and forget it.
@lg.studio but then it's not "Pro" unless we mean "Prosumer." 😆 I'm guessing the silliness and sarcasm didn't come out in my original post, because both of you are correct there could be something in the middle.

It's a business decision, not a HW or SW cap
what post production software do you recommend for a beginner? thx!

Thank you for your presentation. Where have you been. Haven't seen you in a while.

Technically wouldn't the modern Osmo pro be the Ronin 4D? I mean I'm just saying....
ther should be a nice middle ground between the two. Maybe in the size of the original Osom gimabl cameras (7:55)
