RIP David Crosby... I know he was a very big fan of Donalds and he loved his music so much.

Saw Steely Dan live at the U. of Toledo on April 21, 1974, and felt like a jilted lover when they stopped touring for the next 19 years. We owe Libby Titus big time for reigniting Donald Fagen's desire to play live music once again.

So cool. I almost can’t believe it happened, but I saw Fagen at the Lonestart Roadhouse with Rick Danko (The Band) on bass and Phoebe Snow on vocals. Could that have been this show? My then girlfriend and I were seated at the front edge of the balcony, directly over Fagen, with an unobstructed view of his hands on the Rhodes. Like a dream come true for this old Dan-head.
