  • The sell-out 9/11 Broadway and London West End musical includes a character based on Rabbi Levi Sudak, who was among thousands stranded when their flights were grounded on 9/11.
    They were rerouted to Gander, Newfoundland.
    Rabbi Sudak says "It is important this story is told.
    The days spent in Gander showed the very best in humanity after what was an 'unthinkable' act of terrorism."

    Not sure I understand his reasoning for not wanting to shelter in a church or Salvation Army. 😪

      That is because Orthodox Jews are not allowed to enter a church it is written in the Talmud. So those who follow would believe as such, it is not to be disrespectful even though it does come of as such. It is actually the opposite, it is actually that Jews believe other faiths places of worship so sacred therefore if you enter, the body of another religion their faith is entering you, Orthodox Jews see it as more than just a building but a sacred part of their faith. I hope this makes sense, the Salvation Army... I have no idea lol

      The Salvation Army is a Christian religious and charitable organization, it was founded by a Methodist minister in England
