this was the first show i saw after the west end reopened, one of the actors winked at me during welcome to the rock, that set me off and I cried for the entire show
It’s great seeing standbys and swings get some recognition lately, and it was cool getting a glimpse of the sign language interpreter too! I saw this production last year and loved it. It’s a slightly different feeling seeing it in the UK compared to in the states, as an American. Next year I’m planning to see it in Australia too 😁 Really sad that it’s closing on Broadway - this is exactly the show we need right now. If you can see it, any production, anywhere - SEE IT. It’s everything truly good theatre can be, an absolute gem of a show. I love it!
australian production was incredible! I knew next to nothing about the show when I saw it in January and im planning on seeing it again when it comes back to my state!
Saw it on the west end few weeks back after missing Sydney's run but it's returning back to Sydney end of the year & im thinking of seeing it again. Really liked it.
Come From Away is the most precious show ever. The recognition for stand bys is so amazing. I have seen many of these standbys and they are so so amazing!
I've had Stuart on as Nick/Doug and he was absolutely brilliant. I then saw Alice as Bev, but my parents had Jennifer a few months later. They didn't even twig she was a standby! So much respect for them. Also, Welcome to Rock is just a beautiful opening number. There's nothing else like it.
Stuart is featured as Nick and others in the Gander production, still running for two more weeks. I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to him after the show on three nights and he is an absolute delight.
I was there! So excited to hear Jen's voice. Love both Jen and Alice's versions🥰. Thanks come from away for giving me a chance to see Jen's version online. ps. She's the sweetest captain of all versions👩✈️
Firstly Jen was incredible. Can't believe she doesn't play that role every night. Also major props to the show for putting almost everyone on stage for this performance. I'm assuming 1 person was on leave or off sick
I've just seen the show fpr the 4th time down here on the big Island (Australia) Brings tears to my eyes every time. Does anyone know how many costume/character changes in total occur during the show? Must be in the hundreds.
Saw it on tour in Dublin last weekend. Musical #82 for me. Easily shot to the top podium for me, such well written characters and stories. The changes in tempo, melody and everything in the songs is so captivating and keeps your attention focused. Of course the context matters here and makes you emotional before you even set foot in the theatre, but it's excellently made and had me crying half the time. For that reason, it's in the top for me, with the few other musicals that have had me in tears for a large chunk of the show.
The ads ruined the whole vidéo. Put them in between songs not right in the middle of one. I just saw the show for the first time and at the moment it is my favorite musical in English.
Also people who haven't attempted to learn this song realise how technically challenging it is... It's a work out! Jen nailed it!!!!

That "SLOW THE F*CK DOWN" is wholesome 😄
Letting the audience sing it was brilliant.
The Newfie accent is nailed by the cast. One of the best shows I have ever seen and my hands down favourite
Those standbys and understudys are truly the unseen hero's off the stage, and they are the definition off "the show must go on"

This is literally my favourite version of me and the sky I’ve ever heard. There’s something about Jen that’s just pure magic.

This remains my favourite musical. Like a lot of people I wasn't sure at first given the topic but it is incredible, funny and beautiful all in one.
Best show on the west end! They are absolutely brilliant where ever they perform. Can’t wait to go again 💙💛

Can't wait to see this again in November. Excellent gem of a musical and an amazing true story.

Love Jen as Bev, she's amazing!
You need to go get a hearing test she’s ok but no where NEAR Alice Fearn
@@doyouhearthepeoplesing2 Thanks for pointing this out, when I've seen the show 6 times already, with Jen being on 5 of those times.
@@moorhunhe I’ve seen the show three times all with Rachel Tucker I don’t need to see it again even if Alice is in it it’s not that good a show
@@moorhunhe just ignore this person they have been leaving negative and also false comments on almost every west end live video I have watched!

It definitely helps when the story is basically written for you but it is an amazing musical ❤
this is the best version of Me and the Sky.
My cousin is in this , so so proud xx
Who is he or she

Amazing as always ❤️💙💛
Yes Jennifer!!!!

It sounded like Heather Duke's Mike turned off at one point
Will you upload Hamilton's live show on RUclips?
Could someone tell me what the story behind this musical is please
It’s about a town and the stories of real people of a town who’s population doubled overnight due to planes being grounded after 9/11
Pippa is right. Also check out "Operation Yellow Ribbon" here on RUclips for a full explanation of what it's all about.
miss Park is korean?!!!
Why do they have Irish accents??
The accent in Newfoundland/Gander in Canada is similar to the Irish accent
@@JP-uk4rk Ah ok, thanks
Tons of Irish immigrants in Newfoundland and in the small towns like gander without as much outside influence they stay strong.
Music needs to stop BEFORE she shouts "Turn on your radio" the 2nd time.
2:40 - I wish I was in that crowd 🥹
