I love the fact that the guy who plays the mayor initially says no to donating and gets a dirty look because he's busy writing a massive cheque to give to Gander
Hands down, best musical ever. Best song ever. This show was simply amazing. Perfection really. Walked away from it with faith restored in humanity and the strength of the human spirit. Just beautiful.
First time I saw this at the end (there is no intermission) everyone in the audience just flew to their feet as one, clapping and cheering. I’ve never experienced anything like it in the theater.
We did this song in a small CFA revue for an assessment called 'swing project' at uni. We learned 4 different tracks and we had to do 3 runs for the assessment. During my last run, it took all my willpower to not cry. CFA always makes me cry. My first ever West End musical, cried as soon as I stepped into the theatre. I literally love this show so much.
I know ya'll didn't really have a choice but neither did our people. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming when they all just showed up and you taking them in for a few days.
I'm too young to remember 9/11 and I first heard this soundtrack when I was 14 or 15. It's the mark of an amazingly written show that it can make someone who doesn't remember the event and as an Australian middle school kid doesn't know much about it emotional. As an adult, it still has the same effect and I was lucky enough to receive a ticket as a birthday present from my grandparents to see it in June 2023 when it came to Australia. It was my first time going to see a show alone (I recently moved away from my hometown) and man it was so worth the awkwardness - hearing the soundtrack is one thing, but seeing the actual emotions on people's faces is something else entirely
Had to revisit this--I just saw a college production of Bright Star (different show, I know) that utilized a very similar staging style, with rustic, simple tables and chairs organized to look like bars, offices, trains, cars, etc--I'm a sucker for this style of staging. I think it looks amazing and takes so much choreography and practice by the actors.
I'm a lighting nerd. It occured to me when the stage went red for takeoff how beautifully blue the show is. Like that day (so weird what a gorgeous day that was)
I love this song. I finally seen it in Cleveland and welll these songs look soo good on here bUttttt you have to be there in the theater when they come together because this show goes on and no intermission. So it weaves into each song and scene. But on the tour to Cleveland are set did not tourn or route like this set does. buttt it was soooo amazing to see it finally.
The Plane of captain Beverley Bass, is the latest plane landend on Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and all the personal of American was on the Tarmac, a very dramatic day.

Damn, I never saw that! That’s amazing. This musical keeps surprising me
Yes. One of my favorite moments of this incredible show

How many of us cry in this musical. I especially cried when Bas sang "No, I'm fine Tom, I'm fine...."
My mom and I saw this in Chicago, our first one post-pandemic shutdown and we cried, laughed, sobbed…. It’s such an incredible musical.
Every single time.
One of the only shows where you can be laughing one second and crying the next.
I just hope that from now on every musicals from Broadway and West End no matter if its a hit or not it should be professionally filmed!
They are, they're just never released for whatever reason.
Jen Collela has the absolute best "vocal cry" in the industry and this number has some of her best work.
The pressure valve release of the line "No, I'm fine Tom, I'm fine" is palpable. So well acted.

Saw this October 2021. Fabulous show with so many talented people and musicians.
Saw it in September 2021 after our flight was canceled.
Saw this February 2022. Way beyond my expectation.

Sep. 11th was a beautiful crystal blue sky day, even out west.

This is the way to tell the 9-11 Story: with hope, with people coming together. Great show.
Gutted I missed this show 😢
It is on film - Apple I think. Seeing it that way myself. Good luck.
@courtmouse1 I love it when they release the proshots! I wish more shows did.
It has played in Gander the past two summers.
Diane looks like my grandma ❤❤❤❤
The money from those people started a scholarship program for the kids of Gander. It is still going.
Kevin and kevin makes me laugh and cry😭😂
E, F#, and B. Light within the chord.

Loved this show so much. So sad Chad Kimball wasn't in this clip. Loved him.
