I ended up getting the Diode Dynamics POD Bar... but stuck with my Rigid Lights to mount to it. I believe I'll switch out one of the sets for a DD light though, I love the light pattern of these
@@teachthestory the mounting bolts are on the top of the stock crash bar, so you would need to probably shorten the brackets and tap new mounting hole on top of the aftermarket bumper. I actually installed this on a friends 4runner
Crazy times, I know. I just bought a small weld on pan hard drop bracket. It’s a small piece of raw metal that literally fits in your hand. I paid $200 after taxes. Just brutal
I LOVE the backlight function on those SS5's - can almost serve as a DRL for those who've swapped out their high beams for non-DRL capable LED's!
Quality kit and quality video content. Keep it coming. 😊
Always quality content.
Thanks so much! 🙌
Looks like a quality kit. Nice install demonstration.
Thank you! I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the last two Diode Dynamics products I’ve installed. Tempted to get their ditch lights now 🤔
Where did u get that 4runner front lettering? Thats so awesome
Gotta hit it with those black zip ties next time lol. Very clean install bro 👍
Totally, I actually purchased some the next day and swapped them out. Definitely looks way better 👍🏼

Nice!
Question, why did you remove the Stealth Grille Kit from Diode Dynamics? Great content - many thanks!
@@JeffHill-w8r I actually installed it on a friends 4runner not mine. It wasn’t compatible with steel bumper
Hey can I ask where you got the 4Runner lettering on the trd pro grille
Also interested in which grille you have.
This work with C4 LoPro bumper or other low profile bumpers?
Great video and nice install!!!
Thank you! It will not work with any aftermarket bumper that replaces the stock crash bar unfortunately.
Ahh bummer. Wonder if the brackets can just be trimmed down to fit. I’ll have a look in there and post. Appreciate you.

Makes sense. Just a drill and a bolt. Not too bad ;)
hey I want to use those brackets and bar to install a light bar on it!
Great video and tips...thanks! Do you have any recommendations for an after market switch?
👍🏻👍🏻😎
Great video! I like the fron 4RUNNER word where can I buy that?
Thank you! You can grab it at 4runner lifestyle
@@T4Rgarage niceeee thanks!
Did you ever replace the switch with an aftermarket switch?
can you use other pod lights on this bracket like a Morimoto Big Banger or Baja Designs LP6?
I can almost guarantee you can. It’s just a channel that the bolt slides into
@@T4Rgarage sweet thanks for the quick reply!
How would one run the backlight through the running lights system?
You would need to put a relay in and use the running lights positive to trigger the relay I’d imagine
@@T4RgarageI wouldnt be able to tap into running lights without a relay? Vehicle electronics confuse me haha
2015 4runner Help Needed!
