CYCLOCROSS HURTS! Hope CX On-board Race Footage - Sep 2023

- The first race of the cyclocross season was a baptism of fire, as I was jumping straight into the Hope UCI cyclocross series, having been on holiday for 2 weeks. Prior to the race my body and legs were not ready for such a brutal pace.
The race was full gas from the gun, and although I didn't compete in this one there are still plenty of positives to take from a good start, plus I was also feeling comfortable with my technical skills. A lot to take forward and work on as we move into the thick of the season.

I did my first cyclocross race yesterday and finished 2nd out of 10 riders, only in the go - ride league for younger riders but still an achievemnt for my first race. You've actually inspired me to start racing and im looking forward to my next race!!

Nice footage. I raced this course on the Saturday my first ever CX event. The course was tough with literally no rest! My heart rate averaged 182 bpm’s over the hour race!
