It was Lily's choice, and I'm not anti porn but the fact she didn't know that you can get HIV from oral was really concerning. It's important for sex workers of any kind to know how diseases can be transmitted and the fact she didn't seem to know or care genuinely does make me worry about these being self harming behaviors. in the end though she's a grown adult and while I can worry it's not my place as an internet stranger to tell her to stop. I hope she's okay.
I agree, I kind of think she needs a better team. Someone on her team should be educating her about the risks she clearly doesn't understand she's taking. if she doesn't know about HIV, does she know about any of the other STIs she could get? Is she aware of the risk of infection if she isn't properly lubricated or doesn't wash the ejaculate from her eyes? It feels like she's very young and not well educated on sex as an act and it just feels like she needs an older, much more experienced sex worker on her team to educate her.
Doing too much of anything, whether it's eating, drinking, gambling, or sex in this case, is called addiction and it's a problem that needs to be addressed.
The Lily Phillips situation had problems that all stemmed from logistics. Her & her team should have spend *at least* a MONTH not only vetting the participants, but making sure they knew *what* was expected of them and what they were *allowed* to do. Honestly, even if it meant they had fewer applicants, they should have signed a contract!
Contracts, security, extensive screening, a face to face interview between her and every single successful applicant, medical professionals on standby before, during, and after, extensive legal counsel on potential issues, and a mandatory mental health check-in before AND afterwards. So many things needed to happen that just straight up didn't because she is a complete newbie to this kind of thing, and it doesn't really seem like anyone from her "team" really sat down with her and both stressed the importance of safety here and was in her corner during, either. Someone should have been present to pull people off of her after their allotted time was up, if necessary. The fact that no one did, that no one was willing to do something like that, shows that nobody there truly cared about her safety and well-being. That whole situation was a textbook lesson in people not knowing what the hell they're doing.
I think the bigger problem is that a combination of greed and the need for stardom resulted in her making a high risk decision that made her a potential super-spreader of multiple incurable diseases. This type of recklessness blows my mind.
I'm in the camp of why did she rush to do this at the cost of safety. It's not like there weren't enough men or a time limit? If she makes the money she claims she can afford a third party to vet them. Have an intimacy counselor from films onsite to manage people, etc. She put clout over her own safety
This! There was no need to rush, she could have taken the time that was needed and plan it all out. I also think the absence of an intimacy councilor is so felt in this entire situation. Like all of this could have been avioded if things were planned properly. And ffs why in 2024 almost 2025 do we have such crappy sex ed? This is frustrating.
Youse are acting like this is the first time ever someone has put money and fame over safety. She’s an adult woman not a child let her live her life god damn
I don't think she genuinely thought through the physical and psychological consequences at all. It's kinda sad that it was the documentary guy who brought up these really important considerations instead of all the other people around her.
Hey Phil, I just wanted to let you know that I miss the "sources" links that you used to put in the descriptions. It made it easier to look up the source of your story for the full information to share with friends/family.
The lily story is a reminder that reality and fantasy are not the same. Reality tends to break out fantasy; sometimes fantasy seems so good, till the reality happens and its not like what you have fantized.
I have a whole suite of fantasies that, if I were given the opportunity to live them out in reality, I'd have to decline. Some things are legitimately better kept as fantasies, even if everything seems like it's being done right.
Best comment. It is amazing what the porn industry (especially non-Western) is allowed to get away with. Western porn themes are pretty damn tame. Foreign films can get really horrendous by our standards and the women that participate in those _must_ experience psychological damage. Even if it is a fantasy, there’s a reason that we moderate the themes so heavily in the West.
yeah, like the time i spent a year working in thailand as a glorified gigalo for the ladyboy clubs, the clubs paid me to stick it in there performers to help them "destress" i made good money, but sex became boring after a week, to this day i still see sex as a chore not a pleasure
I always expected it to have some backing somewhere, and for some reason I thought that company was never mentioned for a reason. This now makes sense.
I just checked because I knew he was under Complex. Turns Out BuzzFeed owned Complex then BuzzFeed sold Complex this year, but they probably separate Hot Ones/First We Feast into it's own organizations
@@Dim_Dams What I think is more surprising is that they would sell a cash cow like first we feast Maybe they're just done but I don't know why they would do that. They could build shows and make new news organizations just based off of that alone
Atleast 101 people made the choice. Is it really so surprising? The men who applied to have sex with her knew that she was going to sleep with 99 other men in the same day, whom could also have stds transfered to them through her,, just as her support group was tryong to education her on her own risks. This was essentially an orgy with a line. Sex addiction is a thing since the dawn of recorded history and frankly I don't feel ashamed for them and it's not your business to shame them either. They're experiencing the consequences, so give them grace to learn and grow, ya prudes.
It doesn’t horrify me. I wouldn’t personally partake as either party but I’m aware the world is bigger than me. I don’t drink or smoke or gamble either but other people do all that 🤷♀️ The problem is the lack of planning, safety, and consent. The men weren’t properly vetted nor were the rules enforced. She had unrealistic expectations compounded with men engaging with her in a way she didn’t consent to (and in some cases specifically denied consent). In practice it went poorly, but it could have gone fine. It just can’t in those conditions. (Also if it had gone well, we’d probably never have heard about it - so who’s to say it hasn’t already?)
imagine being a drug dealer that can produce a drug out of your fingertips and half (more or less) the world wants that drug. that is what being an attractive woman is. men will never understand women, but women will also never understand the fact nature has programmed mens brains to need sex to a disturbing degree.
Perfect example of the AI irony meme. The dream: machines do all the menial labor and people can focus on art and creativity. The reality: the machines make all the art and creativity, and the people do all the menial labor.
What Lily Philips did was dangerous. End of story. She put herself at risk and was lucky that nothing else went wrong, and I seriously hope she reconsiders attempting it again.
Agreed, I’m usually very much in the camp of “if it ain’t hurting anyone, people should be able to live how they please”, but this was obscenely dangerous for so many reasons
The 2nd coming of Annabel Chong, who was estimated to have done a 251+ man Gang Bang... glad to see someone keeping this alive. It was no better for her than it is for Lily either. People will do what people do.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who caught it. I rewound twice just to make sure. Lol What flavor do you think he was hoping for? I’m gonna guess mint chocolate chip.
I'm glad to see Sean Evans will now have a real stake in the ownership of the show he's had such a large role in making so popular. His stomach lining may have long disintegrated, but now he's a big boss.
A big part of the reason it took Buzzfeed this long to sell First We Feast (they've been trying for like a year and a half) is ironically *because* of Sean Evans. Sean Evans IS the brand - what if someone paid $70 million (the initial asking price) and then Sean just decided to up and leave 6 months later? Then you just paid $70 million for bupkis. Sean having more of an ownsership/executive role was essential for any kind of deal to go through.

About the Lily Philips situation, I think it speaks more broadly to our approach not just to pornography, but to spectacle and social interactions; which are both greatly influenced by our economic system. Competition, standing out, becoming “viral”… We’ve commodified our lives and this is pushing people to do things they wouldn’t normally do to the detriment of their physical and mental health in exchange for exposure and a sense of belonging.
@@blkninja12 More like lack of accountability. People treat this as if she is guilt-free orchestrating this and you are on here blaming capitalism... No wonder you have so many issues in your life.
She wanted to do it tho, even calling it her own fantasy. Maybe it was the tidal waves of money that gave her the opportunity to do so without the need to think about it for long, but it does kind of sound like she pressed the button herself.
It seems like Lily acted impulsively with little planning and a lack of understanding of consequences, and her team enabled it. Even though we have no idea if she's mentally ill, I think as someone who's bipolar I can sympathize a lot with it, especially with her starting out almost giddy about it and then almost seeming traumatized from her actions at the end. People saying she acted completely in her right mind and made the logical decision to do it don't truly understand acting impulsively and being so fixated on an idea being literally incapable of being able to think through the consequences. I'm completely projecting though. Maybe she is just perfectly fine
I don't think you're projecting tho; I have BPD (not bipolar), and I can completely see how she got into a situation like this - it wouldn't have been in her right mind if this is the case. Aside from that, she felt pressured to keep going after time was up (those were her boundaries); Men kept going, ignoring that boundary, and that was SA. I really hope she can talk with a therapist, and if she decides to go through with the next "challenge" there is a background check, HIV screenings, and some bodyguard to enforce the time limits and boundaries.
@@sytmor OR some men had trouble walking into a room, getting hard and/or finishing in 5 minutes due to the unique circumstances of the setup, and Lily acted how she's stated she's acted, feeling pressured by her own setup of the situation to give them more time. Which makes a lot more sense and doesn't require any assumption of SA based on zero evidence of SA. Everyone likes looking at sex through their own lens even though it is as varied a spectrum as anything else. If a bunch of guys just ignored their time without protest, you're right. It's asinine to make that assumption based of what we've seen here.
Also a clever way to cover your ass for associating with scum in the past because we all know PD doesn't want to be like one of the many people he will talk about getting cancelled over previous affiliations or pasts tweets.
The craziest part is that doc is fully monetized when the topics cover porn, sexual trauma, HIV and sex? Meanwhile anything even partly “controversial” RUclips demonetizes for any other creator.
I have a cousin who was diagnosed with precocious puberty at nine years old. Had she not had access to puberty blockers she would have been left an adult in a nine year old body. This is the effed up thing behind these bans. It's gonna leave folks suffering despite their gender presentation, and that should not be an issue because bigots who at their heart are probably just insecure about what it would mean to their own sexuality off they were attracted to someone who had transitioned. We live in the worst timeline, and though I fear for my loved ones, I'm super glad I chose not to reproduce.
Relax. The ban is only for puberty blockers prescribed to treat gender dysphoria. They’ll still be given for legitimate medical purposes, like precocious puberty.
The fact that Lily's team said that " she took it like a champ ", first, um no it sounds like she didn't have a fun time and even some of the participants had a bad time afterwards. Second, what a gross way to put it
She did it with 100 people. It's not meant to be like 100 one on one separate encounters. "Didn't have a fun time"... FFS. There's not enough lube in the world to make the situation physically pleasurable, that wasn't even the point of her doing it.
Yall are wild. She basically just ran a sex marathon. Sex aside, it is an amazing physical feat. I can't tell you if she had fun or not. It sounds like she was just concerned that all of her guests were not having a good time (like any good host would). As for the guys; it's very possible that homeboy freaked out after he learned how many guys fucked her before he got a shot. It takes a certain kind of man to be fully ok with sloppy 80ths (usually pros). Since these men do not seem to be pros, they probably are not mentally cut out for it.
With Lily’s story, first the documentary was great, very well done. However, I’m concerned she’s not aware of the risk of HPV, which can in some cases lead to throat or cervical cancer. Even when using protection you can contract HPV quite easily. Your body can fight it off, but equally it can turn to cancer.
Adding to the concern: there's no test for male HPV, most cases are without symptoms (especially in men), and HPV can lie dormant in your body for years. That said, point of clarification: 80% of human adults have some form of HPV in their lives and it's definitely *not* equally likely to lead to cancer - most often your body fights it off just fine. She's obviously at a much higher risk than the average human adult and that should be taken seriously but I do think it's important to be clear on the facts.
As someone that worked in digital media for over 6 years, the purchase of Hot Ones is probably the best case scenario for the IP. So many online media brands were scraped by private equity firms until they were a shell of their former selves so being owned by people who are passionate about the brand is the best thing for them
I find it incredibly amusing Buzzfeed sold their own IP to allow it to go independent and free themselves up to be an even hollower shell of a company. It's like the opposite of merger Monday or something
They sold it to help pay off their debt. They’re moving away from original content i.e things like buzzfeed videos which have higher production costs to focus on AI which can churn out content for cheap. All of this is because the company is in debt
"Not all the guys followed the rules" if they went beyond what she constented to, that is sexual assualt. Full stop. And she should be allowed to feel upset without yall calling her dumb
@@gamingpizza2204 this. they should have respected her boundaries and followed the rules but she was under no obligation to do this and chose to go through with it all. i both feel bad for her, and don't.
It is one thing that many men who participated didn't follow the rules. It is also another thing in doing this and not expect it to happen, sex is very very intimate and even the porn industry that glorified free sex has guidelines for their stars, no way they could effectively check every single person there. There is no way someone who did this is in any way mentally stable and I feel sorry for her because of that, but I would also point out that what she did is dumb and destructive. It's a bad outcome that is the result of a bad idea, and anyone somehow agreeing to this is either unstable or have a warped view on life, or in the case of the crew enablers.
She's describing feeling assaulted even though it was 100% her choice, without realizing that's what she's saying. The disassociation is an indication of this
@@HarryWessex she wasnt looking for sympathy though, people seem to keen to put her in a bracket either a victim or the other extreme but at the end of the day it was her choice and she is allowed to whatever she wants with her her body and her time.
In my experience people who say things like that are trying to imply that an invisible line has been crossed and therefore these things need to be stopped with laws. "The lgbtq has gone too far" has been a very common refrain over the last few years.
This!!! Honestly this isn't even the first time Phil has reported on this kinda thing happening. I don't even understand how people can be shocked about it. The title just made me roll my eyes
On trans care in the UK - I work in mental health science. You really should mention that the ‘independent’ study that evaluated puberty blocker care, which lead to the law change, is pretty unanimously deemed by researchers and activists alike as hugely biased and extremely poor in terms of scientific practice. It’s disturbing how much sway the pressure of stakeholders (especially politicians) in identity politics has on the NHS and the standards it upholds
Getting really tired of politicians and businessmen pretending to be doctors while ignoring the real medical professionals advice on how any of what they're banning actually does.
This also Its that same feeling autistic people get when nt people speak for them. Its like dude the people living the experience or having studied it are trying to tell you your wrong why are you ignoring it. Or how men tell other men what woman like. The mental gymnastics.
As a trans girls im not gonna pretend that we really know if puberty blockers are hurmful in the long run, they relatively new, and basically don't have any research. So the suspension of them is reasonable , plus if you reeeealy want to get it you still can, just with higher risk
puberty blockers have been used since the 1970s. There is plenty of research on the effects of the drug on children. There is not much research on whether puberty blockers specifically help with gender dysphoria, because there is a general lack of research on transgender issues. However, it is pretty obvious what the benefits of postponing puberty for a transgender person are in my personal opinion.
I could swear Phil had done a Hot Ones episode and yes he did. It was 6 years ago. God damn time flies. You know what that means Phil, time do round 2 now!
Sure, it was Lily's choice but her team messed up in a major way. They didn't vet any of the men and they didn't intervene when the men broke the rules of the event. Seriously, how is that not considered r*pe? If you hook up with someone and you tell them "I don't want to do x" and then they do that anyway, that is a malicious breach of trust.
When are we going to stop coddling ignorant people? If an adult thinks putting their hand on the hot stove is what they want and they wind up getting burned a little, why does this culture still perpetuate sexist ideals that we need to step in and do something if they're a woman? I know people living almost exclusively on the internet instead of going out and seeing what really happens in the real world is very prevalent right now, but there is definitely something more to it than just that.
Are you seriously asking this question? "I said each guy is limited to 5 minutes, but he took 6, and he didn't pull out when the clock struck 5. I was raped." Do you have any idea how batshit crazy that sounds? It'd be a different story if she told them to stop specifically when the 5 minute mark was reached and they said "no", and kept going. But that doesn't sound like that's what happened.
It's a breach of trust its not fuckin' rape you guys devalue every fuckin word in the english language. That word has weight to it stop undermining it before people stop taking it seriously.
Sure her team messed up, but she's part of that team and didn't even realize that STI's can be passed through oral sex. She is the one in charge of her team, so everything that is her teams fault, is ultimately her fault. Men breaking the rules of the event isn't grape unless she told them no. Breaking arbitrary rules isn't against the law. Her feeling like she has to let them keep going, is again her own fault. It is her responsibility as the event organizer and participant to be a responsible adult and set and enforce boundaries.
The issue with “choice feminism” is that it implies that all the choices we make are inherently our own and not influenced by those around us and that is not true. We do not exist in a vacuum. This might’ve been her choice but what if her choice was influenced by her managers and producers who earn their money off of what she “chooses” to do with her body? What if this choice was influenced by an addiction? Or what if it is simply influenced by a culture that values a woman’s sex appeal above her health and safety? I don’t think we should be naive enough to assume she made this decision soundly anymore than a battered woman who chooses to stay in her abusive relationship.
I felt bad for Lily Phillips until you said she was going to do it again and go for 1,000. That sympathy melted away. Dumb as hell. Then I realized no mentally together person would do that, and the sympathy came back. Girl needs some therapy.
1,000 is ridiculous and there’s no way its pleasurable, even for someone who may consider themselves a nymphomaniac. If 100 men only allowed 5 minutes, 1000 men means one pump and then they gotta dip. And you need an assembly line 😂
women in that "industry" have incredibly high rates of mental illness, pasts with sexual abuse, and much shorter lifespans than average. i have nothing but sympathy for these women
Nah, you use men as sex objects, you call people prude or close minded for not being okay with this, you profit off lonely men who can't find connection elsewhere, then you use the public for sympathy. Enough is enough.
It is self harm on a massive, public scale. She didn’t even understand how HIV is spread, and I think that’s to do with the fact that Gen Z didn’t have to grow up during, or at the latter end of the AIDS epidemic. I was a child in the 90’s and AIDS was still very much center stage; education was constantly happening. We’d come to know how it’s spread, how to avoid it and that you can’t catch it by hugging or being around someone. But bc younger Millenials and Gen Z didn’t grow up with HIV/AIDS being talked about non-stop and being told how to avoid it, I feel this younger generation behind us, hasn’t lived with seeing people die from it, so they falsely feel it’s no longer dangerous or a high risk. I’m a Millennial and I’m stunned by her seeming lack of STD awareness and concern for her own future prospects and health. On top of the damage to her mental health, this will be what she’s known for, forever. That’s just facts. I’m sorry for her and I hope she stops.
Maybe she went to a Catholic school without sex Ed, because public schools definitely still put the fear of God in you about sleeping without a condom as long as they still have sex Ed, it's like the only purpose of it. They don't really explain the reality of why it's not great to have multiple sexual partners. Essentially every time you sleep with someone you are exposing yourself to them AND everyone they ever slept with. Unless they get a STD test before sleeping with you, and you can trust that it's real then you are essentially sleeping with every partner they have ever slept with. Even with an STD test, it doesn't test for everything, and isn't always perfectly effective, so there is still a substantial risk.
I'm GenX and remember it well. I was a nurse at the time and saw people die. One thing you did not mention was nobody knew about it until people started dying on a large scale. People shouldn't assume there isn't another new STD going around that hasn't even been named yet.
@hoosierhiver the medical world at large was on it pretty swiftly and attempting to inform the public and get people treated, but there was also a lot of shaming, denial and fear mongering among the public
Oh it's definitely something that she'll carry with her forever. Either she's surrounded by awful people or she got rid of/ignored any of her loved ones that told her it was a horrible idea, because having sex with 100 people in a day isn't seen as a good idea by basically anyone. I can't really feel sympathy for someone who simply felt the consequences of her actions. It's kinda sad too that if she ever gets a partner and/or children, they'll be stuck with it too. She's effectively cut herself off from SO many people.
I can honestly say Phillip is the most original creator out there he has never switched up his content and didn’t let the fame change him , 2006-2024 is a crazy feat
just logistically, idk how Lily Phillips would even get past 1K sex partners in a day… like it took 8 hrs for just 100 + her showers/breaks, and included her breaking down bc she felt dissatisfied at the end with how it went, on top of their scheduling issues… like this is 10x that
I just can't comprehend the Lily situation. It feels so surreal that someone willingly agreed to go through something like that and plans to increase it by 10 fold next year? I genuinely think she needs help, it feels like she's going down a very dangerous path.
Why does she need help for enjoying something you don't understand? Similar to Lily, I have a kink that makes me enjoy the idea of what she did - why is that wrong? Why does that bother you? Who are we hurting? It's incredible how men have no issue with girls going into porn for all the wrong reasons, but when someone does it for the right reason and actually enjoys herself, everyone is immediately alarmed. We can't have that, women genuinely enjoying what we have been enjoying... stop her immediately.
That last quote perfectly summed up how i felt... Until you shared that she planned to do it again. Now I don't feel bad, instead I think the one that said it was just tears of disappointment is correct.
she clearly has issues and to me, it seems like a recreation of trauma. Nobody can stop her I guess but its just a show to how disgusting most men and the porn industry is
I dunno I think she’s just trying to get that clout now and will do it despite her mental health or physical health. I wonder if this is her way of self harm
Ewww unless youre the 1st guy, thats nasty, did you see the room afterwards, it smelled bad enough to almost make the guy vomit, condoms leaking everywhere, im disappointed in so called men every day @mmafyasco
What stood out to me about the Lily story is how focused she was in making sure the men enjoyed themselves. Yes, she mentioned it being a fantasy of hers but nothing about her enjoying the experience. I think that's why the logics fell apart: background checks, health checks, the rules were broken and there was nothing in place to follow should the rules be broken, her expectations of it being like regular sex when this is not regular, etc. Then, to hear she's going to do it again in the hopes to break a record... it just doesn’t feel like a genuine fantasy and it feels more like upping the ante. I'm afraid to ask, what's she going to after/if she sets a new record?
Aside from her being vile and outrageously uneducated about STI’s - Her team didn’t support her at all, no control on time, no support in regards to taking jackets /shoes. No cleaning the room, no background checks, no valid checks of STI’s, inviting rando’s at the last minute to fill up those who dropped out. Not taking care of her sustinance- all while taking money from her. I am baffled.
They definitely should’ve organized it better, with contracts for participants, timers (like if you didn’t finish on time, sorry, but we’re in a rush, you need to leave) and security guards in the next room ready at a moment’s notice.
@@Nightraven26 How about DON'T organize it... The degenerativeness of this entire ordeal is on full display and you think they simply had bad scheduling?! Never be a parent, please. I can already see you mapping out this "strategy" while your kid is 4, waiting for them to be 18. Disgusting.
I wouldn't blame the team. She is the idiot who put them in place. I can guarantee she vetted that team as well as she vetted the 100 dudes she fucked.
Lily deliberately and willingly traumatized herself, ultimately because she "thought" she could handle it. Not realizing the actual danger, or toll such a marathon would exact on her both physically and mentally. She went into this feeling impowered, and came out of it a victim of her own hubris. I honestly feel sorry for her, and for her lack of forethought and critical thinking skills. Whether she believes it or not, she will need intense therapy to just feel "normal" again after all this, assuming that she ever will feel normal again.
I don’t she traded those things for kind of millions of dollars you don’t get that kind of money for free and you certainly don’t get it without hurting people might be others might be yourself
This sorta vomes off victim-blamey. She consented but this happens in normal sex- sometimes you think you want something and don't. Not your fault for not knowing lmao. But yeah, I think this reaction may be a trauma one...
The Hannah situation is crazy. Imagine doing a greed card scheme for $15,000 and not telling anyone in your family, causing your father to kill himself trying to find you. Imaging doing anything knowing that everyone in your family thinks you went missing and not contacting family at all. If her father's death was a suicide and she was never in danger, I hope she lives with that guilt and it haunts her for the rest of her life. Man might have died thinking his daughter was being trafficked or dead when she was never in danger.
It's just terrible because it doesn't matter either way, the whole thing is bad and it's hard to even want it to go one way or the other in terms of her father's death
As is always the case when anyone mentions Liz Cheney and moderate in the same sentence, I'd just like to remind everyone that in Trump's first term, she voted with him 93% of the time.
Which makes sense, because Trump is pretty moderate himself. You gotta touch grass more, look at actual policies and actions versus how much you hate the guy. True right-wingers felt like he wasn't right enough. For example they didn't like that he refused to support a Federal abortion ban. If you take away his stupid tweets and shit-talking during debates and base an analysis purely on policy and actions, he's pretty moderate. So if she voted along-side him, then she'd be pretty moderate too.
😂 yeah and joe mansion voted with biden nearly 100 percent of the time. Weird how you guys don't consider him a Democrat! Almost as if you judge by votes that matter not renaming post offices
I'd like to add here, as a UK watcher, that 'independent' is a reeeaall stretch for this review. The Cass Review was drove by the conservative government, with them admitting fully to putting people in positions of power that shared their views on trans people. Cass was literally the only person considered for the review and was given a permanent (and next to impossible to remove) position in the House of Lords as a reward. The trails will never go forward. These types of studies cannot be done due to medical malpractice, hence why so many experts came out slamming the Cass Review on it's statements on lack of evidence. You cant tell a bunch of kids they are going to get puberty blockers and give them a placebo, it's damaging and also incredibly easy to notice.
At least someone noted that the process has been heavily tainted by TERFs. No evidence on puberty blockers? The things have been studied and used (for the specific task of delaying puberty) for decades. People treated with them for precocious puberty in the 90s should be in their 30s or 40s now, is that not enough to figure out if it's safe for that purpose? Great, so, what exactly is the argument, that experiencing sex drive is essential for understanding your gender? That experiencing puberty later is harmful to people? Strange people. But let's play devil's advocate and flip the question... hey, people who seem to dislike transfolk so much... if these treatments are so harmful why is that a problem to you who wants to remove transfolk from society? Isn't it a good thing, from your perspective, if the evil people don't reproduce? Yeah, I really don't understand humans.
I'm mostly upset at her team. This was something extremely dangerous and the risks to her safety weren't handled even remotely well enough for the sake of pushing her into it. That's a failure on the part of the people who were supposed to help her.
I agree. In the broader context, this is why I'm for legalizing sex work. This kind of work needs guardrails and safety checks, things you can't implement if it's illegal.
@@dutchvanlwhy? Try reading the studies out of countries with “safe and legal” practices, the rates of ptsd, depression, addiction, self elimination are massive compared to the general population. It’s just a gross industry trading for some material wealth at the cost of your own self. That goes for both men and women.
The Lily Philips case just makes me appreciate the safeguards that porn actors have fought for and gained in the professional porn industry. OnlyFans creators don’t have that. Clearly, her “team” doesn’t fully appreciate what supporting her would be like. I don’t really watch porn (not against it if it’s consensual), but even I know that trying to do the proper safeguards in a situation like this as an uninformed sex worker is basically impossible. A sex therapist and other professional porn actors/sex workers should have been involved to not necessarily dissuade her, but help her fully grasp what she was getting into.
I don’t think you understand what only fans has done for the porn industry. It put all the power into the hands of the porn star. No longer do women have to trust sus men who don’t have their best interests in heart. Onlyfans models have all the power if they own their accounts. The safeguards you’re talking about need to be put in place by the onlyfans models. But it’s still a much safer option than traditional porn and gives the power back to the women completely. It’s her choice when it comes to EVERYTHING on onlyfans. You don’t have that kind of control when you show up to someone else’s set.
@@Jirangaaa She had no idea what she was getting into, and frankly no one to really warn her. That's what the comment you were responding to was wanting, someone with experience to let her make a fully formed decision. You can tell she wasn't ready for it just from the before and after interviews.
@@Jirangaaa Never once infantilized her. People who have sex still need to have some discussions/info before their first orgy. Saying that isn’t infantilizing anyone. It’s actually treating them like adults who can think critically and logically based on the information they receive and deserve to have. If she decided to do this after being fully informed of things, then she absolutely could go for it. Consent is important, but so is informed consent and proper aftercare.
About the Lily's story: I don't think she is a victim. It was her idea. She organised it. She is an adult woman that can make her own decisions. She announced that she wants to do it again, but TEN times bigger. Is it a stupid idea? Yes. Do I think she has some psychological issues to do that? Probably. But I'm not in the position to say her anything. It's not my business what she is doing to herself unless it's affecting me personally.
You are allowed to have an opinion, it's not like you are screaming at her int he face with your words. You already are saying something and then following up with that by saying you can't say sht? What type of cuk mentality must you have? Own the position. Own what you say. You clearly think it's ok to judge because you already are. That's not a big deal, you're ok to do that...
@jacobwatto9702 if you shoot yourself in the foot your not a victim. You're an idiot. This is basically that but with a train of 100 dudes. Victims don't typically profit 30k and want to do it again 10x bigger
Regarding the Lily Phillips situation, I think the main issue here is the seeming lack of preparation and due diligence that went into the event. Even a quick search on Google will show that this is far from the first time someone has done something like this and with higher counts too. It's just that most other times, they tend to have been for a professional shoot (that hopefully had more thorough vetting). And that this time, the person was given a platform that reached mainstream audiences and attention.
Not only is what Lily did NOT new in the industry, its actually old hat going back at least 40 years. Either way as long as its done safely i dont care
My partner works in the online adult entertainment industry, and creates exclusively solo content. The reason is that, while it can absolutely make more money to create content with random people, it’s just inherently *SIGNIFICANTLY* less safe. All it takes is one person who fakes an STI test, one person who doesn’t follow the rules, one person who decides to not respect consent, and suddenly you have a very serious and life-altering situation on your hands. There’s a reason that when large professional studios make content like this, it takes months of planning, logistics, and vetting before the shoot, and very tight security, contracts, and lots of support staff the day of the shoot. It feels like this had much less planning, logistics, and support throughout, and it’s a shame. Also to the point that the envelope is constantly being pushed in that space, that’s absolutely true. While it’s become much easier for the average person to get into the industry, that’s meant that it becomes MUCH harder to stand out from the crowd. If you’re a performer and not willing to do something, there’s someone else out there who IS (either for enjoyment or from desperation), and there is also always someone willing to do it for less. There is a proverbial “race to the bottom” going on, so I expect stories like this to pop up more and more, especially once you see the financial incentives on the back end to creating more (and more eye-catching) content.
I saw a documentary where stars from a network had a 5 person shoot and despite getting tested every two weeks, someone had contracted HIV in between and ended up giving it to all 5 people. The safety measures are absolutely necessary and even then, they’re not fail proof
Phil saying “there are NO friends of the show” because of all the scandals he’s learned about over the past two decades is BANANAS. The transition to him going into commercial mode didn’t overshadow how hard of a bar that was for me
Lily should have had people helping her. Like a Manager, Bouncers, etc. She should have told them the rules and they should have been the ones telling the guys No or that their time was up, etc. Now she's definitely going to need therapy.
she should have just not done it...its gross its going to have a bad end result regardless of whether she broke down or not but its her choice so idgaf
What about the guys? This idea that it will only harm her when they had an intimate moment possibly with someone they had a para social relationships with, can't imagine that won't harm them.
It feels very frustrating to me that the people who decide whether or not trans people get care are politicians and judges who don't have the education that doctors do. Like the Hipocratic Oath says to first do no harm, so doctors aren't going to do anything that they think will harm a patient. These laws and rulings are so dehumanizing to trans people for no reason other than cruelty.
Children have too go threw puberty. that's natures process. if they turn 18 and they decide so they can as they're legally teenage adults. if you fuck with nature it fucks back resulting in bodily malfunctions in many area's.
"Are you kept up by your own racing thoughts at bed time? I am, possibly more than most" + at least 2 mentions of thinking everything is a simulation or not real. You doin okay Phil? Hang in there buddy, ive been a fan since before the BlogTV no sleep challenge.
Allowing somebody to self destruct to the point that they sleep with 100 random men back to back is absolutely disgusting. This woman needs a better support system and people that actually care about her. It is very clear this had a terrible impact on her mental health.
It's so funny people were mad at men; if you sell yourself as a product like its fast food and people are hungry and buy it that's fine it's consensual, but most people don't grind for years just to go all in on red for a single combo meal from McDonalds, they want real relationships with real people which is easily available.
never did i think I'd hear phil speak (or attempt) to speak korean on the show, let alone to say BYE FELICIA to the korean president. 10/10 effort, 10/10 amusing
it's a very broad definition of 'exposed' and 'violence' they count dad slamming his fists on the table at dinner, 5 years ago as 'exposure' to 'violence' or, seeing a fist fight in the school yard when you were a kid...as 'exposed' to 'violence' honestly... i don't know how 19% of people haven't been exposed to violence with those broad definitions....

That girl is going to need therapy to process this. Yes, it was her choice, but she put pressure on herself, let things slide, and seeing her after, that’s worrisome. I recommend that she get tested and get all the help she needs to move forward. I hope in doing so, she rethinks her future plans to beat her record. There’s always going to be another record to break, but mental health is something that can f you up for a long time just once.
The norm of pardoning and commuting sentences for a new leader is quite interesting for me as someone from the UK because I feel like my country would have a melt down from doing such a thing. We are so obsessed with fearmongering and usually I get to point to the US and say "thank goodness we're not doing that" but on this occaision I feel kind of envious that our own leadership cannot actually take a look at who is imprisoned for the wrong reasons and do the right thing.
@@conormurphy4328I don't know about that. When you consider the way politicians in the UK can so easily be pushed to resign. It is also something you could legislate against.
I’ve watched this channel for 17 years. You’ve molded my world view. Dude, I was like 11. So thank you for sticking your fingers into the clay in my noggin.
My heart dropped when i saw the FirstWeFeast sell story. Then it came back to life when i saw it wasn't bought by some random billionaires but by the people who actually care and literally made the company what it is today
I wonder if they were like, lined up? Literally a line of them? How could she shower in between knowing all this; I feel she could've called it off but maybe felt obligated idk
I've had two comments and I'm of three minds about the 100 people situation because I don't know how RUclips is censoring today, Lily did decide to do this. If it was her management who put it in her head and they were the driving forces they should have put more checks and balances in, if it was mainly her or a cooperative effort then she failed with basic due diligence about safety because she didn't know how intimately transmitted diseases work, It sucks that she didn't do this like some other events, because she was not the first woman who decided to have intimacy with loads of men on camera. She may be one of the first who decided to do it behind closed doors for each man individually, there should have been more checks and balances making sure when that time is up someone comes in be like "get the F out" type thing maybe give you a 20-second buffer "if you have to go a little longer go but that's it" but it seems like that wasn't in place so it was just poorly thought out.
In regards to the last story and telling yourself things are going to be fine, I honestly think most of us live by those words because if we didn’t then life would be a nightmare. I also think it’s the little happy moments like sitting down and watching an episode of an anime, playing a video game, or hanging with friends when I have some free time that make me feel that things are alright especially when I consider that in some parts of the world there are people who can’t even do that.
I'm disgusted with the whole OF situation itself. There's a part of me that really wonders how much she was talked into this. I want to know how much money the people on her team were making. I'm just a random guy from Alaska and yet I can come up with a million reasons a member of my team should not go through with this. The monetary value is not worth the potential self-harm you could be causing
I wish Phil would do more to elevate trans voices when discussing trans issues and Healthcare He does a decent job from a layman perspective, but his team really needs to bring in the human perspective. Transition really is life and death for a lot of people, myself included. People need to hear about what a hell dysphoria is to deal with.
It's easy to be complacent in the US when violence is growing around the world. But it does feel like only a matter of time before this trend reaches our doorstep. Scary stuff.
I remember thinking a few years ago that now was a decent time to trans, sure there were a few people who were fearmongering but it still was looking optimistic long-term. I no longer think this, and am actively fearful for my future.
Similar experience here, as of November my girlfriend and I are planning on moving out of country as soon as we can, out of fear for her health and safety
You should seek mental help if you think you are trans. The time for weirdos is over yall had 4 years of thinking you were normal. NO MORE back to the shadows with you. Seek help whatever you were born as is all you'll ever be. No such thing as 2 spirits or whatever you dorks try to say
Well, that Hot Ones story was quite a roller coaster. First you had me worried by mentioning it, then I was happy to see them achieving greater success, and then finally you reminded how much Buzzfeed otherwise sucks.
When you have any health issue, be it mental or not, banning care without any call for action to quickly research means banning the humans affected. In the US, we need to have the ability to study hormone blockers on children and if it is banned, we will not be able to even research. It’s why THC research is only just now starting to come out in this country…
see, this is what people who have zero knowledge of this area of care. 1. trans affirming healthcare-- what is being blocked in this bill-- is so many other things other than hormone blockers. it can be speech therapy, or counseling. 2. hormone blockers do exactly that. when a child is pre-pubesent, it pauses hormones so they have the time to go thru all the steps they need to to make sure they want to go that route. never mind that the de-trainsitioning is so rare as to be almost non-existant, hormone blockers are safe, and the least harmful option even if they should decide they don't want to transition. if they decide against it, they simply stop taking the blockers, and they hit puberty just like everyone else. there is LITERALLY NO HARM DONE. i don't know how to say this any clearer. hormone blockers are the best thing you can do for a trans or questioning kid. it's just a pause button that will prevent them from going thru so much pain.
@the_CineCita exactly! "We need more reasearch!" Is something you say as you make plans to do research, not something you should say while banning the recommended and safe treatment already available and in use! They ignore the research and pretend that the weird twisted lies and misleading arguments made by people with no expertise or experience are anywhere near as weighted as the numerous grown adults who have not been harmed by puberty blockers since the 80s, or the doctors who reccomend it because it works
@the_CineCita when children are allowed to grow natural, most detransition. However most children that are placed on puberty blockers progress on to full transition. It is literally harmful to PURPOSEFULY impair healthy body pa
They definitely should have continued giving thalidomide to pregnant women! Why stop just to study if its causing harm? It’s an existing treatment…it stops nausea, and it’s cruel to stop using it to “gather evidence.”
They did stuff like this during the AIDs crisis in the 80s. Watch Dallas Buyers Club that’s based on a true story. The cruelty is the point. It’s their bodies. They can choose for themselves.
Puberty blockers and hormones are harm mitigation. It takes a lot of counseling and informed consent to get on them as a minor. The whole purpose of harm mitigation is that even if there are risks, they are still lower danger than the harm that would happen otherwise. Think of it like surgery. Surgery is not safe. There are plenty of people that die or get permanent damage from surgeries. The reason we do surgeries is the outcomes are almost always better after surgery than otherwise.@@GuineaParents
I gotta comment on one of your ads Phil, the Ozlo sleep buds seem super cool and all, but what if your house alarms go off? What if a baby is crying? What if the smoke detector beeps? Super curious how it works out.
Wishing the best for Lily. Fantasies aren't always like what you expect. I hope she can do what she loves and get the help she needs after what this whole thing turned out to be
All I can say for the Lily Philips story is just why? She can do whatever she wants but what was the point in sleeping with 100 men and NOW wanting to sleep with a thousand men? Just to be a record seems too dangerous because she already had issues with 100 men. Just thinking on what would happen with a thousand men to me seems like it could go much worse.
On the Hannah story, that's really messed up she was fine the whole time, not because she's safe, but because her father died trying to find her when she was in no real danger. It's messed up she didn't even let them know so that they wouldn't have to worry about her and now they lost a member of the family because of her secrecy.
Just wanted to say Phil is looking really good. like long time fan from the sourcefed days, and he looks younger than back then. Eating well and working out definitely paying off especially when it helps with your long time neck pain haven’t seen it in a thumbnail in a long time! 😂
I think what sucks is, while she's perfectly within her right to choose to do what she did, it's super damaging to other workers in her own industry what she did. Like if people were stigmatizing the industry before, a lot of them sure are after this. The comments she's getting are a clear example of it. And yeah, while I am pro-s*x work, I do think what she did could constitute self-harm, or at the very least self-endangerment. I'm not saying she should be arrested or anything crazy like that, but she definitely should seek some kind of help. I also don't buy the whole "s*xual assault" nonsense about it. She gave them 5 minutes and some went over, yes, but clearly she was flexible about it and this type of situation is unprecedented to begin with. If they were there to harm her, they would've done so.
Yeah I think that if you have a negative view of sex industry then this would satisfy all your points, but agreed, she had an opportunity to take more control of the situation, if only surrounding stds. But doing it all in one day is another issue with the whole thing. It's just not healthy to have sex with 100 different, untested people in one day, that's literally not controversial, that's textbook risky behavior. Medically. But it's a medical risk she's allowed to make, but then she needs legal representation who is there to keep her and other participants safe before, during, and after a stunt like this.
how is this unprecedented? there are thousands of similar examples from just this month. you could literally join in this in Times Square in the 70’s. and how is this more dangerous than 100 different times? and how does it stigmatize the industry at all? very overblown response to nothing big or new
On the defense bill: I served in the Army and not a phobic BUT I can speak on military culture from MY experience. Most military members are right leaning and are a phobic when it comes to Trans people. I knew someone who Trans and they where bullied to the point where they ended up leaving the service and pure raw data from when I was in pointed that Trans soldier messed up unit cohesion because majority of people aren't comfortable with it. I'm not saying it's right or wrong but feel the way they feel and we need to open the conversation up more so service members understand why such procedures are important
i think you're missing the point. the trans bill was about CHILDREN. it had zero to do with unit cohesion, or trans people serving. it was added to the military spending bill because it's the most likely way to pass it. this was a poison pill meant to force the laws passage. anyone who voted against it would be labeled anti military, so 20 of them decided to throw trans people under the bus.
The fact Lily Phllips has a TEAM tells you everything. They all agreed "Yes, you should do this," they all agreed to the fallout, they all agreed to the LACK OF PROPER SAFETY. BUT THEN, SAY YOU'RE GOING TO TRY AND EXCEED THE RECORD?!! No such thing as bad publicity, right?
It was Lily's choice, and I'm not anti porn but the fact she didn't know that you can get HIV from oral was really concerning. It's important for sex workers of any kind to know how diseases can be transmitted and the fact she didn't seem to know or care genuinely does make me worry about these being self harming behaviors. in the end though she's a grown adult and while I can worry it's not my place as an internet stranger to tell her to stop. I hope she's okay.
DAMN. What a great point on the possible self harming behavior.
I hope she's on Prep
Her doctor has said don’t do this, multiple times
The Lily Phillips situation had problems that all stemmed from logistics. Her & her team should have spend *at least* a MONTH not only vetting the participants, but making sure they knew *what* was expected of them and what they were *allowed* to do. Honestly, even if it meant they had fewer applicants, they should have signed a contract!
This, like I vet like a single man I'll meet from the internet. Like not vetting 100 is literally insane.
@@NoxNyx666 woman today just built different.
I signed up for the 1000. Hopefully I'm not in the 900s
I mean, if you listen to her; she literally did put her own clout and the big almighty dollar over her own safety.
@@CalculatorTI89and she wants to do it two more times in a month. With 300 then 1,000 just to break the record. 100% on her she is 23

It doesn’t horrify me. I wouldn’t personally partake as either party but I’m aware the world is bigger than me. I don’t drink or smoke or gamble either but other people do all that 🤷♀️
The problem is the lack of planning, safety, and consent.

She wanted to do it tho, even calling it her own fantasy. Maybe it was the tidal waves of money that gave her the opportunity to do so without the need to think about it for long, but it does kind of sound like she pressed the button herself.
that works for the trans story too
It seems like Lily acted impulsively with little planning and a lack of understanding of consequences, and her team enabled it.

The fact that Lily's team said that " she took it like a champ ", first, um no it sounds like she didn't have a fun time and even some of the participants had a bad time afterwards. Second, what a gross way to put it
I wonder if she’s being exploited as well
What she did was gross. Seems par for the course

*cervical cancer not ovarian cancer
Isn't that what the HPV vaccine is for? It counteracts the strains that commonly caused cancer?

As someone that worked in digital media for over 6 years, the purchase of Hot Ones is probably the best case scenario for the IP. So many online media brands were scraped by private equity firms until they were a shell of their former selves so being owned by people who are passionate about the brand is the best thing for them
I find it incredibly amusing Buzzfeed sold their own IP to allow it to go independent and free themselves up to be an even hollower shell of a company. It's like the opposite of merger Monday or something
True. Cracked is another example.
College Humor/Dropout is a great example of dragging an entertainment company out of the abyss.
they sold HOT ONES to focus on AI???? why is every company hellbent on making the worst decisions possible????
Cause they know they will still make money
Simply: AI does not demand pay raises, does not need vacation, does not get sick (besides technical issues, if you count that as the Ai being sick)
They sold it to help pay off their debt. They’re moving away from original content i.e things like buzzfeed videos which have higher production costs to focus on AI which can churn out content for cheap. All of this is because the company is in debt

It is one thing that many men who participated didn't follow the rules. There is no way someone who did this is in any way mentally stable and I feel sorry for her because of that, but I would also point out that what she did is dumb and destructive. puberty blockers have been used since the 1970s.
Sorry, but fuck that. It isn't considered r*** because it isn't. And even suggesting it is does nothing but make it harder for real SA victims.
Girl needs some therapy.
it's more pitty on how she's unlikely to get the help she needs at least for a long time
1,000 is ridiculous and there’s no way its pleasurable, even for someone who may consider themselves a nymphomaniac.
She said she felt like a prostitute- no she is a prostitute
How surprising that you're taking a single person's ignorance as a representation of an entire generation, nobody has done that before...
“I don’t know if I’d recommend it” yeah I didn’t have sleep with 100 men on the agenda but thanks for the recommendation 👍

Also let’s stop the infantilisation of adult women. She knows what she was doing and she wanted to do it. Shes not a victim
@@Jirangaaa Mate, stop replying the same thing on every comment about Lily.
I think someone can be a victim even if they make the wrong decisions.

@jacobwatto9702 who are you a victim of if it was your own choice?
Regarding the Lily Phillips situation, I think the main issue here is the seeming lack of preparation and due diligence that went into the event. Even a quick search on Google will show that this is far from the first time someone has done something like this and with higher counts too. It's just that most other times, they tend to have been for a professional shoot (that hopefully had more thorough vetting). And that this time, the person was given a platform that reached mainstream audiences and attention.
Not only is what Lily did NOT new in the industry, its actually old hat going back at least 40 years. Either way as long as its done safely i dont care
Yeah I remember watching a Howard stern interview with an actress who tried for 1000 men in one day in the early 2000’s.

What if she had sex with kids, would you be OK wirh that?
It wasn’t and that’s the problem

Who knew having s3x with strangers was so risky? Doesn't so s3x "positive".
Ok. Lets be clear. Your partner doesnt work in the adult entertainment industry. Youre just getting cucked.

There was security. Just watch the documentary
Putting the whole Lily Philips story before the intro is crazy 😂
It feels very frustrating to me that the people who decide whether or not trans people get care are politicians and judges who don't have the education that doctors do. Like the Hipocratic Oath says to first do no harm, so doctors aren't going to do anything that they think will harm a patient. These laws and rulings are so dehumanizing to trans people for no reason other than cruelty.
If you want to see how they run as politicians, just look at Thailand.
Children have too go threw puberty. that's natures process. if they turn 18 and they decide so they can as they're legally teenage adults. if you fuck with nature it fucks back resulting in bodily malfunctions in many area's.
Y'all forgot it was doctors who also help contribute to the opiod epidemic or something?
Republicans take the opposite oath. Their oath explicitly says "first do only harm"
I love how sleeping with men is considered a form of self destruction. I completely agree
HEY! SEX POSITIVITY OR ELSE. ARE YOU RACIST?!
It's so funny people were mad at men; if you sell yourself as a product like its fast food and people are hungry and buy it that's fine it's consensual, but most people don't grind for years just to go all in on red for a single combo meal from McDonalds, they want real relationships with real people which is easily available.
You apparently didn’t see that she intends to do 1,000 lol
Yeah shes not backing down in fact shes prepping to do 1000 rn. To blame just men is wrong, cause its not just men its her aswell.

81% of a population being exposed to violence is devastating. No one should have to live like that.
it's a very broad definition of 'exposed' and 'violence' they count dad slamming his fists on the table at dinner, 5 years ago as 'exposure' to 'violence' or, seeing a fist fight in the school yard when you were a kid...as 'exposed' to 'violence' honestly... i don't know how 19% of people haven't been exposed to violence with those broad definitions....

The problem with that is our politicians would absolutely use that power for the wrong reasons on their influential friends and rich colleagues
@@conormurphy4328I don't know about that. When you consider the way politicians in the UK can so easily be pushed to resign. It is also something you could legislate against.

I don't know if I can explain it, but just the thought about the Lily Philips situation just stresses me out
I wonder if they were like, lined up? Literally a line of them?
How could she shower in between knowing all this; I feel she could've called it off but maybe felt obligated idk
When it comes to Lily's choice I'd like to use one of my dad's quotes "You don't think something is a mistake until you do it" (paraphrased)
I've had two comments and I'm of three minds about the 100 people situation because I don't know how RUclips is censoring today,
Lily did decide to do this. If it was her management who put it in her head and they were the driving forces they should have put more checks and balances in, if it was mainly her or a cooperative effort then she failed with basic due diligence about safety because she didn't know how intimately transmitted diseases work,
It sucks that she didn't do this like some other events, because she was not the first woman who decided to have intimacy with loads of men on camera.

I wish Phil would do more to elevate trans voices when discussing trans issues and Healthcare
He does a decent job from a layman perspective, but his team really needs to bring in the human perspective.
Transition really is life and death for a lot of people, myself included. People need to hear about what a hell dysphoria is to deal with.
It's easy to be complacent in the US when violence is growing around the world. But it does feel like only a matter of time before this trend reaches our doorstep. Scary stuff.
HOW are there only 4 more shows in 2024??? Time is f'n with me....
I know it's a self-fulfilling prophecy of mine where I feel like I've lost all this time and so it's depressing, only for me to do the same thing lol
I remember thinking a few years ago that now was a decent time to trans, sure there were a few people who were fearmongering but it still was looking optimistic long-term. I no longer think this, and am actively fearful for my future.
People have been pretty vocal about waiting for adulthood to start anything so life changing.
Imagine changing your mind on it when you decided at 10.
I did actually transition for the same reasons and i to an very scared considering how suicidal i was before my transition.

100%
see, this is what people who have zero knowledge of this area of care. 1. trans affirming healthcare-- what is being blocked in this bill-- is so many other things other than hormone blockers. it can be speech therapy, or counseling. 2. hormone blockers do exactly that. when a child is pre-pubesent, it pauses hormones so they have the time to go thru all the steps they need to to make sure they want to go that route. never mind that the de-trainsitioning is so rare as to be almost non-existant, hormone blockers are safe, and the least harmful option even if they should decide they don't want to transition. if they decide against it, they simply stop taking the blockers, and they hit puberty just like everyone else. there is LITERALLY NO HARM DONE. i don't know how to say this any clearer. hormone blockers are the best thing you can do for a trans or questioning kid. it's just a pause button that will prevent them from going thru so much pain.
This is just their stepping stone to take away all health care to trans adults,
Banning an existing treatment while you "gather evidence" is cruel.
They definitely should have continued giving thalidomide to pregnant women! Why stop just to study if its causing harm? It’s an existing treatment…it stops nausea, and it’s cruel to stop using it to “gather evidence.”
How? What if they find it causes issues and they find a better alternative? Seems weird to make it negative when things like this happen often
They did stuff like this during the AIDs crisis in the 80s. Watch Dallas Buyers Club that’s based on a true story. The cruelty is the point. It’s their bodies. They can choose for themselves.
@@GuineaParentsbecause it’s in bad faith. They wouldn’t ban guns before finding evidence.
I hope she can do what she loves and get the help she needs after what this whole thing turned out to be
Well thats the thing she did do what she loves 😇😜
Dayum! Starting off today's stories with a banger! 🥁 🥁 TSH 😂
Maybe, but I would bet that in 2-3 Weeks no one remembers the Name or the documentary anymore
