Sadly the most badly handled character Oda ever made I'm 100% sure Oda wanted to add her to the Strawhat and though of her character arc as a tomboy who inherited too much of the will of someone to the detriment of their own individuality, she would have evolved into her own person as the story progressed but with the disgusting translation that has been made regarding her interaction, the west ongoing ideological madness and the lack of time for him to develop her character arc he probably discussed it at length with his editor and decided to make her stay in Wano at the last minute which is awkwardly handled but is better for the overall story.

I think he's mad about Yamato and every character including Kaido himself calling Yamato a man, but I guess the bathhouse's gendered signs must've been mistranslated too and now every male strawhat is now a woman @@thibaultl1956
