This warmed my heart in the manga, but the anime got me to tear up with this. Something about the visual of Momo desperately running forward just to bow his head to the crew. He so badly wanted to show them how grateful he was for all that they'd done. You'd think he would say something during the bow, but the silence felt stronger. Like he couldn't even think where to begin so he just bowed as hard as he could. I still couldn't care less about Yamato being or not being a crewmate, but this really solidifies Kin'emon and Momonosuke and Strawhats for me.
Facts kin and mono were always more important to me especially Kin. Yamato always felt like an fan OC more than anything. Though I know Kin and Momo’s place is in wano I don’t see them ever going on the classic straw hat adventures unless luffy needs them in the final war.
Vivi stayed behind and no one stopped calling her a strawhat. I don't understand why Yamato needed to be on the ship when we have a whole 7 crew fleet.

There never felt like any real bonding occurred to make me want Yamato join outside of her connection to Ace. So when she didn't join, I just didn't care one way or the other. With Vivi though, she fully journeyed with the crew and we got to see how they cared about her struggles, and so we also cared about her struggles. She *became* a Strawhat. It would have been different if we went straight from Whiskey Peak to Alabasta and dealt with Crocodile, then said our goodbyes. Most wouldn't care as much for her just from that.
"Honorary" is as good as actually being on the crew in my eyes. Just circumstances mean they can't be there physically but they're the boots on the ground, representing their crew and captain.

I miss Yamato already, I WANT MORE OF HER! She was such a fun ass character to read in manga and to see get animated for One Piece. Her personality screams "I belong to Straw Hats" because of how wild, random and goofy she is.
I think that at some point Wano will become a temporary base for the Fishmen, the Amazons and other countries that now or perhaps in the future have nowhere safe to go, to temporarily relocate before coming to the aid of the Strawhats.

Its small but I like that luffy extends the offer to Kinemon as well. Kinemon has been traveling alongside them the longest and even though he may be weaker then Yamato or Momo (in the dragon form at least) Luffy still sees him as just as much of a member as the other 2

I'm still so upset that Yamato didn't get to go with them. She deserved to be free, even Momo understood that and showed her that they can handle Wano without her. After 20 years of imprisonment, she only gets to go from an island to a bigger island. She should have joined the crew since they're going to start seeing even more powerful enemies and her strength will be needed. Plus i just love seeing more of her.
I really wish Yamato and Carrot had joined the crew. Would have really rounded it out for the final journey and had great parrels with Roger's Crew (also having picked up oden and Inu/Neko).
They could grab them in a bit like how jimbei joined after handling his own business. At the very least i think yamoto will eventually cause oden torn part of his journal. Another possibility is they will be grand fleet commander's
@o9911 Don't hold your breath on that. Luffy befriended Jinbe in part 1, who then accepted Luffy's offer to join early on part 2, so had a lot of time to finish his business. Yamato literally showed up on the final act of the final arc of the Yonko saga, just before the final saga officially started. Given that almost all of the post-timeskip until now has been like 2 months, and that Yamato stayed on Wano to protect them (and possibly help train Momo), it'd be extremely nonsensical for her to leave Wano now and join before the story ends.
While i know some Yamato fans were upset that she's didn't board the strathat ship, I can predict that the other half were extremely disappointed that they won't get to see much of her (barry white-tone voice) big sexy feet. Leaving Nami once again as the foot figure favorite of the straw hats

I wish Yamato got a goodbye, seeing how he wants to be a Strawhat and all. Would've been nice to see his conversation with Luffy about why he's not coming yet. Heck, Jinbe got two goodbyes, and one of them was him jumping back into battle against an Emperor's army!

Technicaly she identifies herself as Oden, which is a whole different thing. It is a gag that effectively drives her entire being, not a good character i think Oda figured out as well which why he choose to leave her behind.

I'm still so upset that Yamato didn't get to go with them. She deserved to be free, even Momo understood that and showed her that they can handle Wano without her. After 20 years of imprisonment, she only gets to go from an island to a bigger island. She should have joined the crew since they're going to start seeing even more powerful enemies and her strength will be needed. Plus i just love seeing more of her.

I really wish Yamato and Carrot had joined the crew. Would have really rounded it out for the final journey and had great parrels with Roger's Crew (also having picked up oden and Inu/Neko).
They could grab them in a bit like how jimbei joined after handling his own business. At the very least i think yamoto will eventually cause oden torn part of his journal. Another possibility is they will be grand fleet commander's
@o9911 Don't hold your breath on that. Luffy befriended Jinbe in part 1, who then accepted Luffy's offer to join early on part 2, so had a lot of time to finish his business.
Yamato literally showed up on the final act of the final arc of the Yonko saga, just before the final saga officially started. Given that almost all of the post-timeskip until now has been like 2 months, and that Yamato stayed on Wano to protect them (and possibly help train Momo), it'd be extremely nonsensical for her to leave Wano now and join before the story ends.
