Maybe consider including the prices. You stopped at alot of the tourist food restaurants as many of us would not do that it would be interesting to see the markup from where we would eat.

Sugar has been produced from sugar beet in Germany since 1801. It currently amounts to four million tons per year. Before that, it had only come from sugar cane from Persia since 600 AD. It has also been cultivated in Europe since the 11th century. It was not until 500 years later that Christopher Columbus brought sugar cane to the Caribbean, from where it was exported to Europe for around 200 years for cost reasons (cheap slave labor).

Wenn man das Schnitzel komplett ruinieren möchte, dann kann man natürlich Zitronensaft draufkippen. Oder man möchte das Schnitzel genießen, dann gern Jägersauce drauf oder ein Spiegelei.
Yeah it's hard , but you can eat these right after intense workout, as after instense workout your cells don't need insulin to metabolise glucose so your blood sugar will not increase
@@angelfriend5211 yeah as a biochemistry student that's what I have studied , you can eat it in limited amount , you can consult your doctor And It also depend on which type of diaetes you have , it's definitely possible in type 2 ( insulin resistance in cell ) Anyway from which country you are ?
Pan cakes for breakfast are rather strange for us as they are too sweet. Breakfast in Germany is very different, it's a shame you didn't show it in the hotel. But great video
There is no wheat in bavarian potato dumplings. Seriously how would you get that idea. Because Gnocchi got flour mixed in? Making potato dumplings is quite a tedious process and my grandmother used to make them herself up until the early 90s. Theyre among the best side dishes ever. While its a very hard decision for me theyre slightly edged out by potato salad. If you never had a good potato salad in bavaria youre missing out. Gotta be careful though as regularly restaurants use pre made potato salad. If theres mayonaise in it then its not bavarian btw. Northern parts of germany do that and its just not for me. Way too heavy.
Why do all Americans only travel to Munich? All these stereotypes that Americans have about Germany seem to be true. Germany has 16 federal states, and Bavaria is just one of them.
Bavaria is the most midevil of the states, Bavaria chose to rebuild as it was before WWII, where the rest went more modern. The whole south of Germany is a great starting point to other countries.
@@Sirk1966 Germany is so diverse and nearly all Americans miss the chance to experience this diversity because they only visit southern Germany. That‘s a pity !
@@BrunoKoob66 For me and my wife, we like the old feel and traditions of southern Germany and Nothern Austria. Other German cities like Frankfurt, Colone, Berlin and others lost there attraction when they decided to modernize. The Alpine villages are also a big attraction because of their slower pace and beauty. If we want to see modern cities, we can see them right here in the states. The same goes for France for us, We don't like Paris due to it's population and modernization vs the smaller towns on the coast. But that's just us.
@@Sirk1966 See, you didn‘t even mention Hamburg. Hamburg is by far the prettiest city in Germany !! You fly thousands of miles and all you want to see is this medieval Disneyland. As I said, it‘s a pity !
Maybe Germany needs to do a better job of advertising itself. Everyone knows about Munich and Oktoberfest. I’ve never seen another German city marketed as heavily.
great video! But: if you are in Europe, you use fork and knife differently....the fork: grab it with 3 fingers at the very end, same with the knife....the way you do it ( in the middle of the fork) it is considered to be low class & vulgar, a sign for not having received proper table etiquette. I know Americans eat like that everywhere, but people with a more international education will not do that. You will always be appreciated for good table manners or in Europe or in the USA. Thank's for the video - from a Germanexpatriate living in the US for 40 years...
what has munich to do with germany? and btw. 50 euros for a brezel is outrageous, i know the bavarians are dumb, but not that dumb. and schneider weisse is a wheat beer brand. and a dumpling is a potato. ok. and it's called cordon bleu.
Well you seem like a nice Person. Maybe cool it down with calling someone dumb, while getting so many things wrong. She said the store that sells the Brezen is 50 years old. No Euro in sight. And he called the Knödel a potatoe dumpling, which is absolutely correct.
Yes, silly post on your part. 1) Bavarians are dumb? Bavaria and Saxony have the most demanding and best educational systems in all of Germany. b) Bavaria (as one of the richest states in Germany) is THE state in Germany which supports the poorer German states the most (in particular in the North and North East the most) by contributing - as one of 16 states - 60% of the "German states fiscal equalization scheme" (Länderfinanzausgleich). And, by the way, the majority of Bavarians are very nice and welcoming and not dumb at all. c) One Breze costs € 50,- in Bavaria???? Even Northern Germans (having a totally mediocre educational system) can't possibly be as dumb as to post something like this. But I guess I must be wrong in this case. Very strange - once again - that Bavaria's and Munich's great popularity with tourists from all around the world leads to posts like this.

We're talking about German Schnitzel not Austrian one.
Every meat needs sauce. Except of Steak.
