My mother / Logic board is dead ( A nasty spill and my fault ) on this model can you replace them yourself or are the parts all internally "serial number locked "to each other by Apple, once I have implanted the new board can I do a restore from time machine Ext Hard Drive. Not worried about voiding the warranty as it's old tech now days and probs not worth it.
Hey, Quick qestion. My SSD on the same model is broken. I can boot the laptop from an external drive, see the internal drive, but when I try to write something on the internal drive the system shutdown . Is there and way to disconect the internal drive?
