- I wasn't a big fan of the event quest Daily Practice so I decided to make my own version of it.
It's nothing much though. The only thing I didn't like about it is the King Size PrimoZeno which is an absolute pain to fight with some really questionable hitboxes. Scorned is fine, you guys know by now it's a monster I destroy.
I wonder which is more difficult though between this Special Investigation and the event quest.
They're also Hazard in the event quest, but the difference between the normal and Hazard versions of these two are completely negligible. The Citadel also allows a ton of cheese like the Resin Bog and endemic lives scattered everywhere.
Anyways - Primordial Malzeno is a matchup I really, really got down now with Courage Hammer. He is incredibly fun. My favorite discovery is avoiding the Shield wing charge by strafing, and using a level 2 uppercut to snipe its head during the Lance tail thrust, and follow that immediately with a level 3 charge.
This video is now the third time I showcase the matchup with Sacred Sheathe LS I believe. Nothing much has changed ; it's still a very good matchup I'm very good at. This was also my only run where I dealt so much damage to Scorned that it entered its Raging Hellfire state after the first exhaust burst.
I had a small brainfart at some point during that phase but other than that, this was a very nice run.

Two of the best Sunbreak monsters in one quest, sounds like a good time. That shield wing charge evade tech looks so good though, I gotta practice it myself. Nice run Lynn

I'm curious, is it possible to get all the gen U monsters (Mizu, astalos, Diet Bloodbath (A. Diablos) and Risen Valstrax) in 1 investigation? It's a quest I've thought is a cool idea in concept but being a switch player means i'd have to rng it. I figure I ask here cause idk where else to look honestly :P
Crazy gameplay... To me hammer is more satisfying with the water strike counter and keeping sway switch skill
