Genuinley love this movie, had me jump, kinda cared for Chuckey, liked the characters, great acting, good effects and gore, and I extremley appreciate the practical effects.
The word Mike was looking for is a reimagining. I think the movie was honestly a total blast and Mark Hamill did great. Chucky did learn from the kids to be violent, because he saw them laughing and having fun, and not understanding the why.

So I worked on Polaroid. I did the foley editing. The director made my whole studio’s life a living hell. He had ten different cuts of the movie the last five days of the mix. Two new cuts a day, two different times we had to redo our whole work. You didn’t miss out, final cut was a horrible movie. I know one of the two editors of this film. And he was called in around Christmas to “make this film scary”, 40 different cuts of the movie. None had a voice actor for chucky. It was also shot as a comedy. There was apparently a world war z shot of all the chucky dolls in a dog pile. I’m glad you guys were entertained but I thought this film was an abomination
