idk if anyone else has ever said/thought this, but i think it’s really admirable and sweet that sindri is willing to fight for faye. Like, listen he has 0 chance of beating anyone larger than him let alone kratos and i’m sure he knows this. But for faye, he was going to risk his life to defend her honor. Plus ya never know he probably also had a crush on her or something since he was very ‘fond of her’
Don't rule Sindri out. He's literally a magician and his realmwalking combined with his ability to make powerful weapons and gadgets makes him a threatening opponent when he has time to prepare.
Umm kratos cannot find the blade of Olympus in the norse mythology it's power would be useless on that mythology because Olympus has been destroyed the power of the blade of Olympus is limited meaning it's destruction power depends on the power of Olympus therefore it's power would be no more it would be as useless as any other giant swords although some of its power is still in tact many of the Olympus artifacts can be formed and crafted to return the power of the blade of Olympus but most likely Atrues will find the blade of Olympus
Wouldn't that mean that the blades of chaos lose some of their power as well seeing as how they were forged (or enchanted) with Olympian magic? Also, isn't Kratos's divine powers the thing that powers the blade of Olympus, so it should still have the same amount of destructive power? On a side note, If Atreus did get the blade of Olympus, wouldn't he have to travel to Greece to get the blade if Kratos decided to tell him (I doubt it though).
Glaz Canon I have a feeling fate mi ght change where kratos will bleed out watching aterus aka loki being taken away by thor. After he bleeds out he might return to greek and retrieve the blade of olympus and rage it against the norse mythology and become his past self until aterus can redeem him
The way he does that runic attack where he Hoists his axe up into the air and holds it there whilst a mealstrom of icy death encircles him looks so goddamn biblical, reminds me of moses for some reason
@@1farin Deimos was kratos's brother. Back when they we're kids deimos was taken from kratos when they were children. They reunited in a past god of war game (forgot the name). However shortly after they were reunited deimos was killed by the main antagonist of the game. Basically long story short this comment was trying to make it look like kratos was thinking about deimos when brok and sindri reunited.
@@1farin Well deimos had reason since he thought kratos abandoned him. But im pretty sure i recall kratos hardly fought back at all. They patch things up though. Just like brok and sindri patched things up themselves.
7:18 at this point there are a lot of theories about why Kratos was able to kill the sons of Thor so easily. Also why they did not raise after they were killed. Well, the venom from the world serpent is what killed Odin's bloodline. In this scene, you can see when the world serpent spits the Leviathan axe back to Kratos in the boat. You see where I am going with this. Is it hard to believe that the leviathan axe was imbued with the venom of the serpent? Every giant knew the axe was made for Faye. This would be an unmistakable weapon to any of the gods. So this is me saying that this axe will be used to kill Odin's bloodline. The real question is who will be the one to strike the final blow? Loki?
When he spits out the Leviathan axe it literally says "Eitr imbued", Eitr is the venom that the world serpent used to kill thor during ragnarok. So yes, thats why Kratos could kill them.
The future telling wall carvings that the Giants made of Kratos & his son’s journey was accurate up to that point. But as all original GOW fans know, fate or destiny are never certain when it comes to Kratos. He’s so powerful that he defeated the sisters of fate who literally determined the fate/future of gods & mortals. Fate telling or future seeing holds no weight when it comes to Kratos.
i just love how this games developers found a perfect little way to deal with a minor plothole. the fact that brok is blue and sindri is normal colour. i just love how they were able to make things unique, especially with the caracters. biggest reason i belive brok is blue is so its easier to tell the brothers apart, sience they are some pretty majore caracters in this game. i can tell apart every , single caracter that we have had a convesation with in this game, even though i never played it myself. i just watched playthrough of this game(obviously without stupid commentary)
11:00 - 11:09 20 Frost trolls to make Leviathan? What could those dwarves make from all the monsters Kratos killed in Greece? There's the Hecatoncheires, Basilisk, Hydra, water Basilisk, Kraken, the 3rd sister of Fate, Cronos, the gods of Olympus, etc. And of course of a lot of Cyclops eyes, would love to see Sindri's reaction to those since he's freaked out by a dragon's tooth. 😆
Atreus is half Giant, one quarter God, and one quarter Mortal. A being like him has never existed before, and there's no predicting how powerful he can become. If he becomes playable in the future, it will be interesting to see what he can do.
Also God of Mischief cuz he's Loki. He might have both the powers of his parents. One is frost other is Fire. Also would be better if he had his childrens power. For example: the fangs of Jormurgrandr(Idk the spelling is it right?) Poisonous enough to infect the gods. It's like the blades of Chaos but green and poison them.
Literally the only storyline critique i have is that Sindri didn’t shake Brok’s hand. My heart wouldve melted if he could get over his phobia to give his brother a handshake
I love the fact that they show which brother is afraid of Kratos by him forcing Sindri to carry it while Brock just walked while he tried giving it to him lol

Long time ago the development team said it would need some special moments for the return of blade of Olympus. And they have to design a good story so everything is much more difficult than before. If the situation doesn't necessarily need the blade of Olympus, it won't be back.
only thing i wish here was that Kratos learned to say thank you as an example before his son. I get he's grumpy and in guilt for his past sins but a little thank you and appreciation even for the little things can mean a lot.
Gotta admit that's pretty ballsy at 8:40 And at 12:00 we have the origins of germ theory. This game goes deep on the lore no wonder it took them so long to come out with it. I cannot wait for gow5.
The storytelling is soooo good. I absolutely LOVE where they are taking this series.. Which is ironic, as when it was first unveiled, I was very very weary of them taking it to Nordic mythology. It has improved the story so much. I like older, calmer kratos. I do wonder how different pantheons of gods could exist at the same time in the world.. Anybody have any ideas? Maybe the different gods control only their country.. explaining how kratos ruined Greece but Scandinavia is safe. Would love any info I can get on these questions.. Please and thank you.
What I find interesting, is while killing the greek pantheon had pronounced effects on the world, I think killing the Norse one wont do as much damage based on ragnaroc, it will be different of course, also considering loki in the legends relationship with the world snake, I'd bet money next game hes getting a puppy
I *VERY* much second guess just how the game presents the Frost Giants and especially Laufey. In the old GoW games, we knew that there was never Black and White sides with the gods and mortals. Kratos wants to take revenge on the gods, but in doing so caused mass Genocide. But in the new GoW, i have a *REALLY* hard time believing that the Frost Giants were these perfect Saints that never did anything wrong. I suspect them and Laufey doing something in the very beginning that first started why the Aesir and Odin became so evil.
7:20 World Serpent - I am you, Kratos. Atreus - It speak! Kraros - What is it saying?! Atreus - Idk! But mum said he’s friendly! World Serpent - Look for mimiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrraaaaghhh”
Wait guys....I think I know why is the prophecy telling kratos will die cause and it is kratos But HE MAYBE GOT RELIEVED OF HIS CURSE! Also as his ashes were removed so did his tattoos that is why maybe it doesn't look like kratos and can't come back!
To solidify his honesty, I like how Sindri says Faye's name without them telling it to him. Adding in the Dwarven language sayings that Faye used to speak to Atreus was the cherry on top.
Honestly I feel like sindri squaring up to kratos bc he thought he killed faye gave kratos just enough respect for him to put up with him. When he put his dukes up and turned his head kratos stopped moving for a second for atreus to speak up I bet he was thinking something like damn this dwarf is foolish but brave.

Believe it’s much more fun than just using one of them. I just use the shield to parry proyectiles because you just don’t let the enemies to get closer
No more square square triangle...
I miss the QTE's in combat
Kept an edge to be carefull even against a mere enemy when your health is low
It's not a reboot this takes place After GOW3 after he escaped alive
Come home with your shield, or ON it, Spartan.
Mr. Hyperface ac odyssey
Admiral Ackbar no. 300, mate
Actually, both, believe it or not. Lol
Mr. Hyperface WHAAAAAAAAA
Gus this is what actually spartans said before war. In real life.
idk if anyone else has ever said/thought this, but i think it’s really admirable and sweet that sindri is willing to fight for faye.
Watching Brok and Sindri work is heartwarming .
Sounds like the world serpent's saying "I am you."
Liam Geoghegan he is not, jormungandr speaks another language
Sound more like ‘I know you’ to me
@@cinnamonpancakes54 suprising!!
Imagine if i find the blade of olympus
Kratos hahahahahaha
Nah, you left it behind
After he bleeds out he might return to greek and retrieve the blade of olympus and rage it against the norse mythology and become his past self until aterus can redeem him
18:47 That was nice!!
Daniel Ruiz I know right? One question and then right in the feels. This game is amazing with its characterizations.
The way he does that runic attack where he Hoists his axe up into the air and holds it there whilst a mealstrom of icy death encircles him looks so goddamn biblical, reminds me of moses for some reason
The mom pulled off the hardest read of all time.
I feel like that The scene where the brothers reunited I think he got a memories of demos
Is that a good thing?
@@1farin
Deimos was kratos's brother.
@@Arsonist_Clown no like i mean i already know the whole history of it but didnt deimos beat kratos up? Then they make it up for each other?
@@1farin
Well deimos had reason since he thought kratos abandoned him.
But im pretty sure i recall kratos hardly fought back at all.
They patch things up though.
Just like brok and sindri patched things up themselves.
Arsonistic Clown The name was Ghost of Sparta
22:04 this genuinely puts a smile on my face, two brothers getting over a grudge.
Peter Seaboldt Thor is also part giant and part god
@@JessicaGarcia-xf9wr but he isn't part mortal. So, compared to Thor, Atreus is going to be a lot less predictable.
7:27 when a game does the dovahkiin speak better than Skyrim even attempted to. I love the way this serpent sounds!
"...I guess she thought that was the best chance for the Giants to live on, and now, that is all up to you."
Literally the only storyline critique i have is that Sindri didn’t shake Brok’s hand. My heart wouldve melted if he could get over his phobia to give his brother a handshake
Lmao they just be hitting the axe and it magically get better 😂
"You know whats adequate! That footwork. You step in shit?"
I love the fact that they show which brother is afraid of Kratos by him forcing Sindri to carry it while Brock just walked while he tried giving it to him lol
Guess you need to change the tile of the video to "The history of the two dwarf brothers", cause that's what i see.
My favorite part where Brok's brother tried to stand up to Kratos before he knew that Fay left the Axe to him is SO FUNNY I love Sindri
Kratos is technically the new Norse god of war
all norse gods are war gods lol homicidal bastards
@@K_30 except Baldr. The original, who was a calm, gentle soul.
@@K_30 That's not true, Tyr is specifically the Norse god of war, it's just that the Aesir are violent and warmongering
@@caspianhorlick4529 thats true mimir even tells atreus and kratos in tyrs vault that tyr is the god of war but never fought since he always tried to be peaceful and not start a war
All the Norse god are gods of a few things, what they are beat known for of course then something more less important and as a third, war.
Sindri is great; just a fun character to have on screen an very well animated.
Long time ago the development team said it would need some special moments for the return of blade of Olympus. And they have to design a good story so everything is much more difficult than before.
If the situation doesn't necessarily need the blade of Olympus, it won't be back.
they would certainly need the Helios flashlight when Fenrir's doggos caught the sun and moon
“You know what’s adequate? That footwork! You step in *SHIT!*”
Got me XD
only thing i wish here was that Kratos learned to say thank you as an example before his son. I get he's grumpy and in guilt for his past sins but a little thank you and appreciation even for the little things can mean a lot.
The story of these two brother dwarfes trying to out do each other in each step is really good. story.
"I could still get rigid down south."
Nice andropause joke
27:25 Was Faye a jokester 😂 that’s funny
Gotta admit that's pretty ballsy at 8:40
And at 12:00 we have the origins of germ theory.
Perhaps the flood they mentioned came from the events where kratos killed poseidon
And maybe.. just maybe the draugr is the souls released when kratos killed hades
14:18 hold up did i fair Kratos laughing
What I find interesting, is while killing the greek pantheon had pronounced effects on the world, I think killing the Norse one wont do as much damage based on ragnaroc, it will be different of course, also considering loki in the legends relationship with the world snake, I'd bet money next game hes getting a puppy
Aaand you win that bet. Kind of.
@@dukep9750 hey pupper is pupper
It funny(and amazing) how these dwarves basically just touch the weapon and it gets improved.
Imagine if smithing was that easy in most games. Just tap it with a hammer, gently rub a wetstone against it and BAM!
Brook such a badass. He have a guts to blame kratos
Thank god atleat u can play and dodge and block and stuff😂 most people i watch they play really cringe😂
Jingyu Sun lolll hes so bad at this xdd cant even parry
Yeah! #cringetoo
Jingyu Sun he still kind of sucks though lol
Yeah I can atleast dodge most attacks but i have an extremely agressive playstyle I rarely give my enemies an opening
8:41 I'll give him this he's got guts to stand against the ghost of Sparta
I *VERY* much second guess just how the game presents the Frost Giants and especially Laufey. In the old GoW games, we knew that there was never Black and White sides with the gods and mortals. Kratos wants to take revenge on the gods, but in doing so caused mass Genocide. But in the new GoW, i have a *REALLY* hard time believing that the Frost Giants were these perfect Saints that never did anything wrong. I suspect them and Laufey doing something in the very beginning that first started why the Aesir and Odin became so evil.
Bro at the beginning i love how you could hear kratos’s emotion in that scream, and how with every swing he hit harder and harder
7:20
World Serpent - I am you, Kratos.
Atreus - It speak!
Kraros - What is it saying?!
Atreus - Idk! But mum said he’s friendly!

Really? I though he say "I know you, ghost of sparta" and "find mimir on odin rock"
At least that what i read from other

Like no bitch, it's just no one can understand what he's saying
19:41 Breaking the 4th Wall.. Epic
“Does he ever get scared?” Death couldn’t even hold this man.
He literally killed death in God of war 2 or 3😬😬😯😯😲😲
What the dragon said was “I know you Ghost of Sparta, Now find Mimir They will help” for the people who wanted to know
These lore videos are great keep up the good work :)
Wait guys....I think I know why is the prophecy telling kratos will die cause and it is kratos But HE MAYBE GOT RELIEVED OF HIS CURSE! Also as his ashes were removed so did his tattoos that is why maybe it doesn't look like kratos and can't come back!
This hits harder when you realize the reason he is so protective of the Axe is because is one of the few things he has left to remember his wife
To solidify his honesty, I like how Sindri says Faye's name without them telling it to him. Adding in the Dwarven language sayings that Faye used to speak to Atreus was the cherry on top.
I swear... They better not kill off Kratos ;(
皇族Kōsei He’s my favorite character so if they were to kill him that would surely piss me and many of the fans off.
well technically they have killed off kratos a few times
Kratos wont die. Hes too angry to stay dead.
@S3 Solid Snake Simulation mate, Im a MGS fan too. But isnt mgs was created by korean?
They will
The last frame of Kratos seeing the final drawing of his son. Haunting.
"Here, let me improve the axe"
**bonk**
"Here ya go, a masterful work"
Honestly I feel like sindri squaring up to kratos bc he thought he killed faye gave kratos just enough respect for him to put up with him. When he put his dukes up and turned his head kratos stopped moving for a second for atreus to speak up I bet he was thinking something like damn this dwarf is foolish but brave.
*Bang*
“What did you do?”
“I made it better”
brok and sindri getting back together always puts a dumb grin on my face :)
With this game they started another trilogy plus a prequel after the end of GOW3 .
Romefeller prequel?
Josh COOPER yeah the gap between gow 3 and this game. He was “lost” for a while until Faye lol
Romefeller that gap was 1000 years or more, no less than 1200
I mean they can still make a game out of it?
@@Romefeller_ they could use the monsters that can be found in between the mythos'. the sphinx and kraken as examples and maybe Set from egyptian mythology as he influenced the reawakening of Typhon in greek mythos
