- 0xc000007b Error usually occurs when trying to run GTA 5 via Launcher.exe. Windows prompts with message:
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."
This is DirectX related problem and may occur with many other games as well as any software that utilize GPU. With GTA V, this error is most commonly caused by an outdated version of D3DX9_43.dll library, but this is not always the case.

It works after the installation of rockstar social club. Remove all the files about Directx (dx3_9,dx3_10,dx3_11 and XDiagInput) and install DirectX 11. I think during the installation of rockstar social club, Rockstar install a bad version of DirectX. I am on Windows 10 x64. Thanks for your comments, that helped me a lot to understand the issue. Rockstar did shit, I am going to mail them.

The fucking problem is I got 64 bit W 10 and i tried all 32 bit solutions

Visual c++
Disable antivirus
And install redistributables provided by the game

Hey guys so idk how but i had the same problem and i watched every vid i could watch but what worked for me is i istalled cs:go cuz i wanted to play it and maybe it installed a couple of files or something but it fixed my problem

j'ai eu énormément de problèmes à installer sur mon ordinateur (Windows 10, 64 bits), Grand theft Auto 5.
Grâce à l'aide de youbuteurs j'ai pu trouver la solution.
Je viens apporter mon soutien en espérant que le problème puisse être corrigé à l'avenir ou aider de futurs utilisateurs.
Après l'installation de rockstar social club, l'erreur 0xc00007b impossible de lancer l'application revenait en boucle.
Malgré de multiples solutions rien n'y a fait, réinstallation des derniers drivers, de directX.
Et j'ai trouvé une solution, et probablement la cause.
Solution:
Après avoir installé rockstar social club, j'ai supprimé tous les fichiers D3DX9_*.dll, D3DX10_* et D3DX11_*.dll, et Xinput1_3.dll contenus dans windows/System32 et windows/SYSWOW64. A vrai dire tous les fichiers concernant directX contenus dans ces répertoires.
Puis j'ai réinstallé DirectX.
Et cela a marché.
Cause:
Je pense que le provient provient lors de l'installation du launcher rockstar social Club, il réinstalle un mauvais DirectX.
