One of my favourite memories when I was knee deep in the Bethesda forums was when people complained about how empty the New Vegas map felt, a dev responded and said "It's a desert, what did you expect?"
Honestly Bethesda, make a new engine. I know you love your precious little Creation, but it’s time to move on. You can “update” it all you want, it’s still the same engine. Hell, if you really want, call the brand new engine Creation 2 if you really can’t live without Creation.
David Jaffe is a gift hat keeps on giving. If you haven't seen him getting shat on when Cruelty Squad came out, you should, the dev himself made shitposts at him. It was funny as hell.

Ya’know. After playing both, please give me the boring space survival game because I know the devs will actually try to fix it. No obnoxious/unlikeable side characters is also a plus.
Man, you were surprisingly tame with this game... Idk, this one felt kinda phoned in, even for Bethesda. Seriously, game just feels like: "Hey modders, here are some new Lego pieces," and I'm waiting for them to make the game.
He knows his install base are a bunch of immature kids that are invested in this console war . Calling the game "like the rest of Bethesda games" is just hilarious.
Something that's great, Starfield after only 1week has respected Skyrim Modder's fixing the game issues for Bethesda. "Why pay/waste time when you can can get it done for free right?" -Todd Howard- I am actually excited though for what new content these Modder's can bring in the future, if it's anything like Skyrim mods I do think we're in for a treat.
Well, Todd is upping the ante this time. He copy/pastes mods as updates now. lol The little modders are much faster at it than his 7+ billion dollar company.
@@RUclipsPremiumDudeexcept the quality of the famous writer (at this point) is almost indistinguishable from an ameuter. If you think Literally only fetch quests is good game design that a modder couldn’t do better, then you’re out of your gourd.
Most modders from Skyrim never went to fallout, and tbh I don't see them getting into starfield. Skyrim was just a uniquely open canvas on top of a really detailed world in a way that the other games aren't (except oblivion, or morrowind)
I think we are in for getting fucked over once again in the future by people who look forward to picking up the slack of incompetent game companies who get rich off of consumers who think third party content is a top priority or somehting to look forward to when they figure out the product they paid for is shit.
Not surprising that modders and mods are the one that made starfield actually playable and a better experience but the bugs are sadly still there waiting to get fixed by the modders too, what a world we live in, dear modders of starfield we love you for adding MASSIVE BUDGETS to the game and made me gun extra harder during gameplay
But instead of using it for an effect of "Oh God! I am so small in scale pf the vastness of the universe!" they used it to have the player go "Oh God! I'm so fucking bored!". Truly a bold artistic move.
@@FlexedNoose Nahhh! How are you gonna make a game and purposefully leave it empty af under the pretense that we want other unpaid artisans to finish it for us? You bought that mess?
Honestly I believe anyone that plays a Bethesda game on a console needs to not have a opnion. Bethesda games are made for pc and for Moddershall to fix
So your take is unfinished games belong on PC so that people who aren't being paid can fix it for the massive company which released the game? Sure, have it your way, kid. Really proves how superior PC Master Race is to everyone else.
Honestly I don’t think you can truly compare Starfield to NMS because of what they are. NMS is a survival game that focuses more on crafting, building, and exploration whereas Starfield is an action shooter game that is going to focus on gunplay and story telling. To summarize, it is pointless to compare the two because they were each made for a different kind of player.
@@TanvirAhmed-bz2ox I assume you are referring to not being able to fly/ land like you can in NMS to which I agree. I think it’s fair to isolate the mechanics and compare them. For example Starfield has much better gunplay and combat mechanics hands down but NMS offers more options through vehicles/mechs and the ability to do bombing runs with your ship. Just always keep in mind the kind of player base each is catering to. Starfield caters more to the CoD kind of player base while NMS would appeal more to Minecraft type players and the features or lack there of in each game reflects that imo.
I read somewhere saying Starfield had the fewest bugs on release of any Bethesda game. Given how much content and opportunity for bugs, I have determined that is a lie with my folder of around 50 bugs I encountered in a single play through. That is just the ones I could catch in time or remembered to screenshot.
So, having a rig makes you superior in some way? Royalty? You are aware that a PC has nothing to do with race, right? How awkward is it when you champion your PC to individuals who have life all figured out while playing their PS5s? Do you go on about those peasants while wanting a dollar raise with more hours? I too am looking forward to the mods that add the budgets. With the way character outfits look in this game, you can barely notice the budgets! Lol.

my theory: starfield was already known as an medioce rpg comparable to fo76 standard bv insiders. but todd and friends polished it and managed it to hold up a hype and make it a (how long?) financial success. i'm watching it and can not believe how hard some fanboys defend the emptyness and soulelessness of this game even compared with previous beth standards before FO76

LOL the god of war intro comparison to starfield was amazing. So well thought out, I didn’t even think of it.
My best starfield moment was when an NPC came up to me right out of the blue and told me he couldn't wait to go home to cuddle with his same sex husband. Who does that? Do gay people do that out in California? I know I'm slow on the uptake, but I got "the message" already when half the characters and 80% of the NPCs were gay. It's impressive how Xbox Series X looks exactly the same as Xbox One graphically. They did a really good job recreating the same console.
Bringing up the absolutely packed new vegas map to say it was empty is a true alpha move
It's the truth, though
Packed with what? That shit was empty af

Something that's great, Starfield after only 1week has respected Skyrim Modder's fixing the game issues for Bethesda. "Why pay/waste time when you can can get it done for free right?" -Todd Howard-
I am actually excited though for what new content these Modder's can bring in the future, if it's anything like Skyrim mods I do think we're in for a treat.
Well, Todd is upping the ante this time. He copy/pastes mods as updates now. lol The little modders are much faster at it than his 7+ billion dollar company.
@@RUclipsPremiumDude well, those "amateurs" do some pretty slick and fast work. Odd how Bethesda's 7 billion dollar worth has a harder time.
I love your reviews man,i just got in from work and man your reviews crack me up keep it up
This guy is seriously underrated, you deserve way more followers
Todd Howard literally told everyone that 90% of the planets have nothing on them before the game came out.
But instead of using it for an effect of "Oh God! I am so small in scale pf the vastness of the universe!" they used it to have the player go "Oh God! I'm so fucking bored!".
Truly a bold artistic move.
Well one of the the main reasons of the basically hundreds of empty planets was so massive mods wouldn’t conflict with one another
@@FlexedNoose Nahhh!
@genkureshima9834 salty
But u have to agree not being able to use our spaceship is pretty fucking absurd

Being a member of the PC master race, I can safely say, console peasants.
So, having a rig makes you superior in some way? Royalty? You are aware that a PC has nothing to do with race, right? How awkward is it when you champion your PC to individuals who have life all figured out while playing their PS5s? Do you go on about those peasants while wanting a dollar raise with more hours? I'm more than sure that you guys aren't even purchasing the $4000+ chipsets available on the market.
