The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon
An all terrain staple on all terrains around the world - the big G has transcended from being a highly functional working and military vehicle to a statement of power, luxury and just straight up rectangular charm.
Not only becuase its huge slab-sided shape has barely changed since 1979, but because underneath, the Gelandewagen - which simply means terrain vehicle - is still as hardy and capable as ever.
And now - with a new, slightly more modest diesel option on the table, the G is more sensible and accessible… well… kind of.

One of the best reviews on G and one of the few on G400d. And I think (if money were not an issue) I'' take the diesel over the 63 just because it is better tourer and better all rounder in general...

So, so cool to see one without those tacky AMG plastic bits bolted onto it. I would definitely also go for the 18" wheels, and choose silver over black, the classic MB colour combo.
