It doesn't anymore uses a solid front axle. So it doesn't anymore stay true. Unless you can get the civilian version of the NATO spec G Professional. I don't know if Mercedes still manufacture the civilian version or if it's still available.
ifs nope
You can’t even get it here in US
Landcruiser, patrol and defender are all IFS now so they have all evolved.
Most people prefer IFS as we just do rural twin tracks, rocky tracks, deep sand, etc. We don't do high impact 4x4 so we won't ever need SFA. IFS has advantages, giving us 60+ owners easier parking, and a more civil ride on the rough terrain. I prefer IFS always, as SFA is uncivil.
@@afriquelesud me too like they’re not even expensive only $160k 😏😬
233K ? It's going to see a lot more high street than high country..
Thank you, you made my choice so much easier. Greetings from South Africa
Australians please answer this question “ Can this make it in the outback?” I need to know
Yes
@@beejoutbush3322 Probably the most important question is: "Can it get you back?"
The only thing that stopping this thing in the outback is the owner. Would you trash 200k vehicle in the outback ?
$233k?! Pass
I'd rather buy a Kakadu / Hilux Rogue and use the rest of the money to buy 100 acres in country Victoria.
Holy shit balls, just go and sell my house and I’m in..💪
Rather get a Y62, 200 or 79 series & throw $60k at it than this Merc. Each to their own though.
I'll buy one on Friday after my $200Mil Powerball win..with 18' inch tyres
Ineos Grenadier cannot come soon enough.
Probably the same price in Oz though 🤣
$233,000? , put another $60,000 on top and you get a brand new Unimog!
Totally agree, the only thing the Unimog lack is that it can't go into the shopping centre though, lol.
Just dont get any of them bogged. Both need a grader as a support vehicle
Looks like a great car. But is it worth over $200k?
Its worth half of that mercedes is way too greedy for such an old vehicle. The machines have already been paid of.
@@carholic-sz3qv It's an all-new car, it just looks similar to the old ones. The body is bigger and every panel is new.
@@MikeStevens nope, it definitely not different than the old ones, also all those parts have been available for years too.
@@carholic-sz3qv the only things that are common between the old G-class and the new one are the exterior door handles, hinges, and latches. Everything else is brand new.
@@BomberFletch31 nope
where was the off road driving, not a real test
U forgot the Pajero.. Oh, the stupid guys at Mitsubishi discontinued it.. Shame..
These "reviewers" don't know the first thing about the cars they're "reviewing". Like for example, the engine isn't new at all. Just the badge is.
WTF $233k, is that for three
Ineos grenadiers is half price. The value for money is questionable given what Ineos has done
Wait for the new Pajero
hope they'll made new one
get the grenadeir
A lost cause
This car is way too overpriced for something they have beennusing the same tools to make for years, its totally not worth the price, mercedes is just trying to hard to retains his "lost" value on the market. Shame on them.
Hahahaha 233k thats hilarious what a joke, its bloody ugly..
